Welcome to Cullen Wines, the first carbon neutral biodynamic winery in Australia.

We welcome you to taste our award winning wines at our Biodynamic Wine Room. Here we offer a range of experiences for you to enjoy, including seated tasting experiences, dining for lunch and a self-guided biodynamic garden tour.

Our Biodynamic Wine Room team, love to engage and share our wines, our wine making processes and biodynamic practices. When dining in the Wine Room you will enjoy the delights our garden has to offer, with over 90% of the menu being grown right here at Cullen Wines. All dietary requirements are welcome. Bookings are essential and advised to be online if possible.

    We strive for the purest and most transparent expression of place in our wine and food. This is manifested today in our carbon neutral biodynamic vineyard, winery and kitchen garden. When dining with us we offer a 4 course seasonally set menu plus a selection of extras and sides to compliment your dining experience. To complete your dining experience in our Wine Room we offer both wine pairing and a comprehensive wine list featuring current releases, plus back vintages of our flagship wines from the Cullen cellar.

    This is a more detailed experience covering Cullen Wines’ history, philosophy and biodynamic farming practices. Our staff will take you through detailed wine flights including our flagships; Diana Madeline and Kevin John and a selection of estate wines. $45 per guest.

    This experience focuses on our flagship and iconic wines: Diana Madeline, Kevin John and Legacy series wines.     I stress that I have given 5 stars for value. I think that the place, the products and the people are all 5 star. Therefore I did not expect it to be cheap. However, I think that it was worth it. It was great. They were great.

    Hi I was a bit disappointed with my lunch. I felt the bread with oil dip was very ordinary, the other first two courses small but OK. However, I would have liked more feedback on the menu or from the waiter on the main course. I chose beef which came with some kale and roasted leeks. This would have been much tastier if complemented with roasted potatoes or something else to help with the flavours. While potatoes were available as a side dish, I didn't expect to pay extra on top of what I considered an expensive meal ($80/person).

    Food was amazing! So are the wines (but I knew I loved the wine pre booking) shame they are a tad under staffed but the lady apologised as soon as we arrived about the staffing issue but still loved our meal and our time there.

    There are obviously staffing problems in the south west but having said that Cullens have minimised the resultant difficulties so our dining experience was still very enjoyable. We are looking forward to an expanded menu when the post pandemic era finally arrives and the hospitality industry returns to 'normal'.

    Food was excellent and the choices for main were diverse to ensure that any diner would have an option they could enjoy. Each course was spaced out to provide a nice dining experience and the wines were excellent. Although there is no al a carte menu, it is not something that you miss with the degustation.

    Would have been 5 star other than bench chairs outside. We elected to sit on deck as a lovely Autumn day and seating not conducive to relaxing. Otherwise fantastic.

    Excellent set menu - great taste combinations and very well presented. Superb wines and with good service the lunch was a most pleasant experience.
