We had dinner at Cucina 382. We noticed the menu changed and the food was still delicious with larger portions. There were more fish and healthier selections. We will be back.
Great place. Food was good. Will come back
Great food and very attentive service! Ambiance is nice, and they have a coal fired pizzeria attached!
Went to see a show at Papermill so wanted something near by. Great food, service and atmosphere. It was a Wednesday night so it wasn’t crowded so the noice level was fine!! Would definitely go again if going to another show!
This was a horrible experience. My husbands food had a large piece of plastic in it. It took an hour to be served. I would not recommend.
Eh—-would not return, small portions, salty, nice decor-
The dinner was delicious. My server ‘Pre’ was friendly and attentive.
Food is better then expected. Price is reasonable. Bring a bottle of red and enjoy!
We came for dinner before the theater. Seated immediately, the staff was attentive throughout, but we never felt rushed. We shared the Polpette appetizer which is two really large meatballs. They had a nice texture and the red sauce was slightly sweet which we liked. Both entrees lived up to our expectations. We will be going back again the next time we go to the theater.
Great place for dinner at a reasonable price. BYOB also a plus if you plan ahead. Will definitely return...
Perfect :-) we took friends fir his birthday after going to see a game we were the only ones left and they didn’t rush us food was great as always
Due to an unexpected death in the family I had to schedule a Mother’s Day dinner at the last minute, and they were so accommodating! Our waiter knew the menu well and had awesome recommendations, the food was fresh, classic, delicious, and hearty (Mom ate her take home leftovers!) the atmosphere was very warm & welcoming, family style! And everyone was happy. Recommended!
Service was eh, waiter not too knowledgable about the menu. Three of four people ordered Veal Chop Milanese but it was not a pounded chop but pieces of very thin, overcooked veal cutlet with the salad on top. We ordered the meatball appetizer which was way too salty. The shrimp in garlic appetizer was just ok. It was very pretty inside but a little noisy. May give it another try, may not.
I did not see anything on the website about it being a BYOB restaurant. They have a beautiful bar and it is just there for show, If I had known ahead of time I would have made plans to bring my own. Not quite as upscale as I interpreted it from the website. It was a little loud for my liking.
We had dinner at La Cucina di Clemenza and enjoyed ourselves. The service was excellent.
Excellent food and good service
Absolutely wonderful every time. It’s our go to!
Took a while to get them up and running after the street fair, but food was ok. Like to see a bit more personal touch and actually acknowledge that you are new to the resto.
Best Italian food in Millburn. Love the "Sunday Gravy" and the salads are great too!! Alsois BYOB which is great!! Service always spot on and everyone is super friendly.
Nice ambiance and wait staff. Food was very tasty and fresh. We sat near the fountain, which was a little distracting. Will definitely go again!
Always on point !
One of our favorite local places
The service was excellent. The salad the Pears was very hard. My meal I liked the spinach. I didn’t like the fish. It was sautéed with a thick coating. The desert tartufo was delicious. My husband enjoyed his meal. He had escarole soup. He also had Sunday Gravy.
It was awful. The clams oreganita was all bread crumbs. Don’t think there were any clams in the shells. Food was okay. My pasta was swimming in sauce. Had to ask for cheese for pasta.
Open Tabke took a reservation for 12:30 on Saturday. When I arrived I found that only the pizzeria was open, not the restaurant I had reserved. The manager told me that this has been a problem for awhile.
Very annoying-please work on your schedule
food was not that good, need to think of getting another chef
Waiters obviously were not trained properly, we had to ask for basic items several times (cheese, bread, water, oil, etc.). The restaurant was not crowd to warrant any type of poor service. We even witnessed a server picking his nose. Food was ok but not for the prices being paid. Loud 70’s music in an Italian restaurant was not quite the experience you’d expect to find. I can say we tried it but wouldn’t go back.
What a great place! Didn't put it together that the namesake Clemenza was from The Godfather. A Genco Olive Oil window and large photo of Richard Castellano were the only overt references in the dining room. A quote appeared in the menu as well as in the men's room.
Started with the Pasta e Fagiole and had the Clemenza's Sunday Gravy for my entree. The brachiole was so unbelievably flaky you cutie cut it with your fork. Perfectly seasoned. Meatball and sausage were equally tasty. When it came out, I wished there was a little more rigatoni, but it turned out to be a perfect amount.
Finished with Cappuccino and Cheesecake.
A delight. Would return.
Great place great people great service
Family owned and they treat you like family. Always excellent food so you'll go there for your favorite dish until you see the specials ! BYO so that helps with the tab which is always very reasonable. One of the best, authentic, Italian restaurants in Jersey. Just dress like your going to you Grandmother's house for a great Sunday dinner.
Enjoyed a special birthday. The food was extra fabulous ! We had an exceptional experience love this place!
One of our favorite casual places. Good food and pretty restaurant
All around average, the lady who seemed to run the place needs to learn to at least pretend to welcome her guests.
Very nice local restaurant
We have been there several times. The food is excellent! A few things happened. First, there was a soup special and I asked the waiter what it was and he said he didn't know and would ask the kitchen. Never came back. Then we asked the older lady and she said it was Italian wedding soup. I still didn't know what was in the soup. Her response "your not going to like it"! How does she know what I like and don't like. The older lady was rude when my husband was trying to give her constructive criticism. He ordered veal parmesan and asked for his pasta on a separate plate and not under the veal. It came together with the veal. When he mentioned something she said "I can't please you people". Ends up the waiter did write pasta on a separate plate it was the kitchen that didn't look at the ticket. She later told us and apologized.
We had gone to a nearby movie and then had dinner at Cucina. We had a nice table on a raised platform, great food and service. The fact that you bring your own wine keeps the cost down, too. I would recommend it highly.
Ok every day dining. Food was ok but not great. Service was very nice but we were basically the only guests so not sure what to think of it.
We were very pleased with the atmosphere of this restaurant. We went prior to going to the Papermill Playhouse. It was convenient to park at the Playhouse and walk to the restaurant. I ordered the sole over spinach, it was very good. I would go back here.
I been to la Cucina Di Clemenza a few times and never had a problem before. I always got my open table
Points immediately and when I told the hostess she claimed she checked me in and that’s it. The salad was very good and I shared it with my husband and they split it with 2 plates. I ordered grill salmon-and steamed vegetables with no oil. The vegetables came with oil so I sent it back. Than the vegetables came back ice cold so I sent it back a 2nd time. The vegetables came back with an extra hot plate that you couldn’t touch the plate. I asked for a cool plate and they brought me a dessert plate and said I should eat the salmon from the extra hot.plate and the vegetables from the small plate. I Asked for a cool dinner plate and they finally got it right. My fish was over cooked from the micro vegetables. I would normally look away if I received my points but I didn’t.
I will not go back because it’s to much trouble especially if you do not get your points.
