Its a nice fine dining place in Manila. My boyfriend works in Manila and he cherished the moment that we had in Cru Steakhouse. Thank you the team on creating a memorable birthday celebration for him. He also moved on the handwriting card from the team.
Wonderful service, extensive menu. That much of the best ingredients were Australian (we’re Australian) was coincidental. Great steaks, great night, a great end to a week in the Philippines.
Our team always love having our steak in Cru. Worth our time and money. The staff are also very good- We will definitely go back to celebrate another milestone in our group.
Service was good and the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. However, the steak was quite bland and was not up to par considering the relatively high price.
Excellent steaks, champagne and desert. Service was attentive at first but slowed down too much on second course. Forgot to send espresso until reminded.
Service was incredible. Food was delicious. Only minor issue was the smoke from the grill but we got over it quickly. Definitely worth a visit.

We came in on a Sunday evening. There wasn't a lot of diners so it felt like we owned the entire restaurant. We didn't ask, but we were given the chef's table. Staff were knowledgeable with their menu and wine. They recommended the sampler as the appetizer which has a little of everything. I really liked the gumbo soup and the peta cheese that accompanied the chicken wing. It was our 1st time to taste foie gras, and my girlfriend had most of it. I've had really good steaks in different steakhouses before, but hands down Cru, it was the best I've had. Cooked medium to perfection just the way I like it with a soft buttery texture. It felt they really took care and put a lot of thought in sourcing out their meats. Mashed potato was fluffy soft as well. We got 2 complimentary cakes, the chef table complimentary salted caramel cake was divine. I can't believe a cake can taste that good. It was a nice touch when the staff would fold my table napkin whenever I go to the restroom, it'll be waiting for me on the table folded neatly. They didn't have to do it, but it really made me feel special as their guest. Overall it was an amazing 1st time experience.
