Executive Chef Justin Vickers introduces a “Farm to Table” concept utilizing what’s available from local farms in the area. Amazing farm to table food!!!
Justin is an excellent chef who truly cares about his craft and his guests. The menu is very unique and isn't replicated in the area. The aesthetic is very welcoming and the plates look like something out of a fine-dining cookbook, but priced fairly. Cocktails are crafty and tasty and the beer is enjoyable for all palates.

Merci kitchen within Crowded Castle has a small, but delicious menu. We dined with our 2.5 year old and the chef came out of the kitchen to personally give us some options for her. We ended up with homemade mac & cheese with a side of shrimp. She loved it! I had the Sous Vide Wings & the French dip (too much for one person), but I couldn't choose just one. They were both delicious. My husband had the steak sandwich, and he devoured it. Food timing was perfect, we didn't wait too long for our meal.
It was easy to get a reservation, and given the amount of tables, I would recommend it until they are able to open up Bridge street again in the Spring and have more capacity. The beer is not the best, but we went there for the food this time. Its hard to compete with some of the downtown breweries, but the craft cocktails looked delicious (i did not partake). Overall, we would definitely visit Merci @crowded castle again.

Excellent meal and fantastic beers. This was our first time back to Crowded Castle since the kitchen opened. We were very pleased with the meal and the service was great. We always enjoyed going to Crowded Castle when they were just a drinks only bar, but we will be going more often now that we can get a meal and drinks. Lobster Mac and Cheese is not to be skipped! Also, they were super safe for COVID times, I watches a staff member wipe down a table and chairs as if they were trying to remove the wood itself. Cheers!

Whiskey Beef and Beer special event! The first of many I hope. There is another special event next month. I am very interested in that one too. We were able to sample several whiskeys from a local PA distillery. Paired the whiskey and cocktails with some awesome food.
We enjoyed the beer selection and this was the first time we had their dinner menu. The Atlantic Salmon and slow cooked ribs were both delicious. The bartender/server was super nice and really attentive! Great experience overall.
Had the chef special, Waygu Beef and it was amazing. Also loved the Confluence. Definitely will return!

Staff was wonderful; Megan and a nice young man whose name I don't remember. Chef Justin was very friendly and interested. Loved the ambience; comfy and eclectic. Loved the sliders; wings were different, but good. Also had the corn (rib-like). Glad I tried it.
Solid craft beer selection. A small but fun menu, locally sourced. Attentive staff with a great sense of humor. Fun atmosphere with games and chalkboard walls. We'll definitely be back!
