About this restaurant

Romantic
Good for special occasions
Innovative

The Crazy Bear is a decadent oasis in Old Beaconsfield; offering grilled meats from our char-grill josper, fresh fish and crustacea delivered straight from the boat (not markets), and seasonal vegetarian dishes. Our smoked products are smoked in our own smokehouse using pure oak. All of our Gloucestershire Old Spot Pork and Welsh Badger Face Lamb is reared at The Crazy Bear Farm, and all of our meats are butchered at The Crazy Bear Farm Shop.

A lovely family evening for 18th birthday celebrations. Staff were very friendly & we felt safe with the current covid restrictions.

The food was amazing, so tasty and full of flavour. Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Portion size was just right! The restaurant service was excellent however bar service was a little bit slow. Best meal I have had in ages. Decor I really cool and atmosphere was good. More on the pricey side but definitely worth the money

Great food and amazing service. Loved the environment. Staff wearing masks and sanitiser available - however felt tables And other customers were too close to be ‘safe‘ due to coronavirus.

Been here many of times for afternoon tea which has always been great. Bought my sister here for a surprise Sunday lunch and felt it was a let down. Very rushed, watery gravy and nothing special for my sister even though I had rung up twice to mention it’s a birthday. Got 2 sliced strawberries on a plate with happy birthday written.

As usual eating at Crazy Bear is always an enjoyable experience that we love. Who can resist a Sunday three course meal with a drop of Champagne?
