We had the fish and chips with coleslaw and two pilsner's. The chips was beer battered and quite nice, fish was gummy shark a bit oily, the coleslaw was tasteless unfortunately. All in all the food was nothing special. The beer was really nice and the service was excellent, bunch of energetic young people!
First time at CBC and will definitely add this to our list of places for our biannual trip to the Southwest.
Lady who greeted on arrival was very grumpy and unfriendly and told us we were outside on the grass in the heat. We could put up umbrella but the table and seats were already very hot! We had booked online and we were told nothing available inside despite their being plenty of tables available - some of which were still available when we left after our meal. The food was fine and came out promptly. The waiter/waitress were also very nice. The grumpy lady came down to check on us and when asked how we were down there and we said hot - she shook her head. If she hadn't been there the place would've received a much better rating but she made our experience terrible. In addition to this it was advertised as having a bouncy castle (nowhere to be seen) and playground although there was quite boring for children!
Our favourite place to stop on each visit to the region. Service was exceptional on our visit, staff can never do enough for you. Well done guys see you on our next trip.
The beautiful location along with the delicious food made for the perfect setting to enjoy with family, the landscaping along with the playground made it possible to have a date lunch while having the kids with us, staff were friendly and helpful, will visit this gem again
Great location with fabulous service from wonderful hosts.
We had a big table of 16 and the service was great. The staff were friendly, the food came out quickly and everyone loved their meals. The kids loved playing in the playground and the open grass areas.
Best beers and equal-best location we experienced in the cape-to-cape region. The Hefeweizen was especially good - and also the Pils.
Lovely food as well. Co-owner Claire was super-friendly, interesting and very welcoming - and keen to chat.
We would go back in a heartbeat. Also, the brewery has a lovely outlook in a lovely rural setting. Perfect for a summers day - or any day for that matter.
We ordered pizzas and burgers and the pizzas were soggy (taken out of the oven too early) and the burger meat had a strange taste. We sat inside and it was beautiful with a lovey breeze on a hot day but unfortunately also carried the smell from the local cows. It was an ok experience but don’t think we will be going back.
Wonderful outlook
Great service, very friendly staff
For as quiet the place was on a Sunday afternoon we felt generally unwelcome as first time visitors. Staff weren’t busy but couldn’t be bothered to show us where our booked table was apart from a general point in the vague direction. Having booked for 3 we found the table with our name on it with 2 chairs. Not a good start. There was no explanation of were the menu’s were, how to order so we assumed our psychic abilities were required. It’s something that could have been quickly explained upon entering the venue and made the experience so much more welcoming.
After ordering food this came out reasonably quickly and was generally tasty. When ordering a lemonade for my son a can was plonked on the counter without much ado. No glass, no offer of ice. I could have expected more at a service station buying a drink.
After feeling we had rushed our experience we hung around for another 5 minutes before leaving after all of 35 minutes. So much for supporting a local business!
Support us and we could have considered supporting you more by getting in another round of drinks. We did - elsewhere.
Customer service is not that hard but hardly experienced at this venue.
Nice venue. Need larger shaded areas for lawn seating. Needs updating for vegetarian diners. Soy milk for coffee is easy to get but not available.
Cauliflower dish delicious.
Easy to book a table online, was greeted with a smile, service was good, food was very nice in particular the Squid item on the small food list.
Great place, lovely variety and food was beautiful! Plenty of options for seating and pet friendly. We absolutely loved it
As always the beer was great, food was yummy and the service from the staff outstanding! Love sitting on the deck on a gorgeous spring day with a Cowaramup Brewing beer in hand with good company.. Saturday's done right!
Great venue and food is always good service with a smile will go again
Had a fabulous time at the Cowaramup Brewing company. Went with little ones and we were able to sit outside next to the great playground which made it much easier to relax and enjoy our meal as it was so easy to keep an eye on them. The service was great and the meals came out super fast. I had the cauliflower small dish and it was delicious and a very generous serve.
This place has minimal beer selection but the ipa we had was good. Best thing was they let the dogs inside because it was raining.
No ambience, food choice was limited and inconsistent. Absolutely beautiful grounds, has so much potential.
We were greeted warmly and genuinely as soon as we entered the entrance. I didn’t get the name of the young lady who brought us to the table but she was very accomodating and friendly. Menu has room for improvement but otherwise okay. Overall experience was good.
Awesome spot. Worth checking out. Nice beers. Tasting tray good value.
Menu is small, and then the food we settled on was flavourless. Very disappointed.
Although the staff are very friendly and the beer was cold.
Good food and beer, occasional off putting smell wafting in from a near by lake maybe?
Great food and selection of beers! The tasting paddle is the way to go, and once you find the beer you like you can leave with a gigantic (nearly 1L) can full of it.
Great service and although the food choice is limited it was extremely good. Beer to suit most tastes. Great staff. Have been several times. 😊
Very enjoyable afternoon spent here food was very nice
