    For the price of the three of us dining it was horrifically under value food wise, ambience wise. Yes, it was high tea and the portions are small but there were three of us and really has not enough food for the price.

    have stayed many times in a club room and this was the first time we were required to book into cove for breakfast food and cutlery were not kept restocked as there seemed not to be enough staff and too many people as the overflow were seated in the fireplace restaurant. they know the numbers in advanced so should be able to adjust as necessary. on seating we ordered coffee which took about 15 mins to arrive and when it did it was lukewarm. We ordered an omlette that never arrived even after waiting for half an hour by that time we decided to leave We stayed in November 2021 and were able to use the club facilities for breakfast but was told this time "due to covid we cant use it for breakfast" ?? I understand that it can be trying in these times but by having people book you should be able to know how many people are going to be coming through and adjust the food and staff accordingly

    Selection of food for the buffet breakfast was outstanding! But the service from the staff was above and beyond. Can easily say the Cove Cafe is in my top 2 of all t ime.

    Food was very good. Not fatty and very clean and fresh. Your on-request food eg. eggs or omelettes will take approx 10mins so if you order them wait a good 5mins before plating the rest of your meal if you want to eat it all together. My poached eggs were perfectly medium which I was impressed with. Coffee was good, not too hot or too cold and you can be in and out in 30mins if you’re on a schedule.

    Buffet breakfast had a good selection of cereal, fruit, bread, pastries and pre cooked hot food. One point to note, in you came later in the breakfast seating some of the food selection was cold and not fresh ie pancakes and bacon.

    We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as usual. Unfortunately the breakfast quiches weren' t available anymore. Porridge would have been a nice addition as well. Overall still a great experience with friendly staff and nice surroundings.

    A pleasant greeting from the maître ‘d. Table was nice a away from lots of people table 83z breakfast had plenty to choose from and was nicely presented. Table service of hot drinks was fantastic and to our liking. Come back again? Definitely 😃👏

    We tried out the buffet after seeing mixed reviews but the food was all infact dry and didn’t taste fresh. Wasn’t worth the price and probably wouldn’t bother coming back

    We had breakfast each morning. Great range of choice. Quality of food was very good. On the last day about a dozen young children all at the buffet unsupervised which made getting what you wanted a little difficult.

    Pretty good for a hotel breakfast buffet. Weird booking system meant that we booked a table for a time when the kitchen had already closed so the selection was pretty limited.

    I am slightly disappointed that Cove Cafe does not serve my all time favorite of Bircher muesli. The service is good and very accommodating for our large family of 9.

    I appreciated being able to choose the vegan, non-dairy ingredients for my omelettes. I enjoyed the change of daily varied treats, e.g. dim sims, Thai boiled egg & fried rice. I would have appreciated non-gluten cereal & non-dairy yoghurt. Being able to order a variety of hot drinks, e.g. decaf Almond Chinnos & hot chocolate was a treat.
