Côte Brasserie - Covent Garden
Lovely food with excellent service. We are from the set menu.
Côte is always reliable. The four of us much enjoyed our meal. The Côte chain is one of our regular eating places of choice and can be recommended .
Nice choice of food in lunch menu. Quick friendly service and excellent value.
Great set menu for Valentine's Day evening and a wonderful atmosphere. No nonsense good food.
Did not go as somewhere between Open Table and Cote Covent Garden our messing was booked up. Open Table confirmed it by email, but had 2 phone calls from Cote - first confirming booking and second one saying no table available at that time - even though Open Table kept emailing me to confirm booking. Not impressed so I gave up.
This was a reunion of two couples who hadn't met for more than ten years. We were a long time in the restaurant. Throughout the staff were wonderfully kind and helpful, the food was very good and the whole experience was excellent. We'll do it again without hesitation.
A very nice French restaurant. We will go there again.
As always, a really good experience - great set lunch which I enjoyed with my 7 year old son. Very friendly. good value and a high quality kids menu.
Pre theatre meal, menus offered good options. Food was very nice. Seating was a bit squashed.
Sadly my booking had been 'lost' by the restaurant but we were accommodated anyway.
Foos very good but approaching Christmas it is noisy and crowded everywhere.
Greeted nicely and seated straight away (we had booked and that is essential).
Initial service was very good but slowed up as the restaurant got fuller.
Order for dessert got lost and had to be reordered.
Great menu and service as usual. We were in a smaller room and the noise level was objectionable.
As always, great value and choice and nice staff and a decent wine list
Noisy environment, OK at lunch but this is theatre land so everyone expects a buzz
We had a very pleasant meal having just been to the cinema. The food was excellent and so was the service. Would highly recommend
A quick evening meal with my son. Table was small and very close to the next table occupied by two loud women. Noise level was generally high and not helped by the music tape. Waiting staff were efficient and the order taken quickly. We didn't order a starter but an a la carte main of steak frite. The sirloin steaks were cooked to different preferences and arrived promptly. The steaks were described as corn fed and hung for 30 days but with no information on origin. They were tender but not very flavourful. With a glass of wine and a soft drink the bill was approx £55.00.
Overall a reasonably priced meal but nothing exceptional. Noise was the main problem
Member of staff approached us with a very rude tone and very defensive behaviour, even when she was wrong.
I was told off by a very rude member of staff that we have to finish our food in the next 30 mins. She said we have been informed about this before they took our order which was not true. Even people seating next us told her that no one informed us about the time limit. Then she claimed we didn't book in advance and we just walked in and that's why we must finish food and leave within 50 mins. Later she found out that we made a booking in advance and no waiter told us about the time limit. Two waiters who served us apologies to me, but ruined our dinner because of her behaviour. Imagine explaining yourself in a busy, packed restaurant and waiter keep telling you that you are wrong. It was an embarrassing situation and I felt that I have committed a crime or some fraud.
Excellent food at good price
