Great food and nice atmosphere
Have been to Cote several times and each time it does not disappoint. Staff are very friendly and efficient and the food is excellent with a good choice, especially as my daughter and grandson are non meat eaters. Would certainly recommend it.
Fabulous food, wine, service and ambience
We took our two young children for a post lockdown meal and the waiter remembered them from last time and made their experience memorable.
I know it was the night before lockdown & they would be busy but we had to wait outside in the cold for half an hour,our table was booked for 7.30 then waited inside for a another 10mins to be seated by the door which was cold...then wait 10mins to order food & drink to be told they had run out of a lot of food & even wine.....very,very poor & greedy on cotes part
Lovely food brilliant service
On a particularly busy night the staff did an amazing job. The food was lovely as usual. We look forward to returning once they are open again.
We went out on the last night before lock down, there was a bit of a party feel about the evening, the problem we had was the restaurant hadn’t received our reservation from open table even though we had our confirmation email, they did find us a table so huge thanks to the staff who now unfortunately have been furloughed.
Really nice venue with plenty of space, so social distancing was great. Nice seasonal menu with plenty of choice for all tastes. Our food was great.

Lunchtime restaurant was far from full and yet the service was poor
Food was ok. Desserts probably the best course. Service though left a lot to be desired. Very slow. The bread we ordered for the table was delivered to the wrong table. We never actually received it. It was obviously not a good night as we overheard other tables complaining. Wasn’t quite the evening out we had planned although we didn’t let it stop us having a good evening.
My son took me there for my birthday we had great food and great service the restaurant itself is lovely
Food was good although they got the order wrong, which was addressed. Service was poor, nobody came to ask how things were. We had to ask for water, then more water, we had to ask for the dessert menu, it took a while to get their attention for the bill and then there was a problem paying.
We’ve not had these issues in the past but it was disappointing this time. The set menu is very good value.
