a neighborhood restaurant + wine bar in schumacher place focused on seasonal, plant-based dishes, craft cocktails + a rotating natural wine list.

our space is intimate and reservations are highly recommended for our dining room. walk-ins are welcome at the bar or our high top window counter on a first come, first served basis if no tables are available.

we have free parking lots across from the restaurant and are surrounded by free street parking. please be respectful of our neighbors on beck st. when parking.

    Super impressed. I truly admire those who can do so much with vegetarian options. Most restaurants have few (if any) vegetarian options and are usually pretty bland and flat (save for Indian restaurants). Out of the 5 plates we got, all were exceptional. For me, vegetarian normally means a “slightly-less-than” facsimile of a dish with meat, but these dishes stood out on their own. I wish I had the vision and the abilities to design and execute such wonderful dishes. Service was perfect and delicious cocktails to boot, hope to come back soon for the next season’s menu.

    The food and service is always outstanding. The music was a little loud. Sometimes hard to carry on a conversation. Love the ambiance. Definitely a favorite spot for special occasions.

    This restaurant is the real deal. The ambiance is so relaxing and inviting. The staff is amazing. The food is impeccable. My wife is vegan, and this is the kind of restaurant that makes both of us happy. Gwen was such a wonderful server. She was poised, elegant, and graceful with each interaction. She gave wonderful recommendations from the menu with such accurate descriptions of flavor profiles and even great wine pairing suggestions. The entire menus felt like a well thought out prix fixe menu that all coordinated well together. The presentation and quality of the food was amazing. I cannot believe that I was lucky enough to find this gem on a one-night stay in Columbus. I highly recommend. I hope they don't change much for the next time I go back. Oh, almost forgot, the candles to celebrate our anniversary was a nice touch on the dessert :-).

    It was another amazing dinner experience at Comune on Saturday! We got to try so many wonderful dishes and eat bite was perfection. We also both loved all 4 of our NA drinks and very much appreciate the NA options. We cannot wait to try the fall/winter menu!
