    Came to this restaurant with expectations being associated with Matt Moran. V disappointed. Staff poorly trained. Tables small and cramped tightly together. No privacy. We ordered an entree and main - the heavily accented waiter forgot/misunderstood the entree altogether. I ordered a bisque and got bread instead - charged at $12 a piece. However, the eye fillet was well cooked and good quality - not outstanding but tasty. For $60 you get as streak smaller than the size of your palm, 3x rocket leaves and 1 pice of lemon. Would I go back - probably yes - steak not as good as Louis but better than Marble and Wine Co - maybe just to try the bisque.

    Food and service are excellent! Was a little loud with sound bouncing around between tables, particularly next to the centre mesh partition.

    Ordered the scallops and the octopus menu for the starters and was very satisfied, especially for the octopus. main menus were great, steak exactly cooked to the desired level and the crab pasta was outstanding. Worth the price and the server was very kind and professional throughout the night.

    Had a really lovely dining experience - everything was f*%^n delicious and we were sat at this beautiful long table made from what looked like all different timber types giving an old school family dinner table vibe which was cool. We had the zucchini flowers and were dipping our fingers on the plate afterwards to get every last bit of the honey and cheese combo. We had the salami, pickle and bread sticks, and the olives. Seriously the best olives ever and the bread sticks had a hint of rosemary and the salami and pickle was pretty special. Three of us had the scotch fillet and I had the most expensive scotch (most fat marble) and the steaks were really big and everyone was very happy. The rocket is like the wild stuff you can easily grow at home in cbr similar in looks to wasabi rocket (big rounder leaves) and the steaks were cooked and salted to perfection. The little sauce bowls were just the right amount to wipe clean with some chips - anchovy butter, peppercorn and salsa verde. All so good. The sides were all yummy - hot chips, Mac n cheese, broccolini sans almonds due to allergies (which was no trouble for the waiter), and the carrots. All really nicely done and all generous servings for a group of 5 (including 4 very big eaters!!!). The 5th had the spanner crab pasta and loved it. Had a really amazing local bottle of red that the waiter suggested and it was too easy to drink - a murrumbateman one. Very nice. Finished with one of each dessert to share but the nut allergy kids stuck to the sorbet and the rest of us shared the amazing chocolate torte and yummy panettone and the cheese plate. Man we were all rubbing our tummies all the way home. So full but no complaints. All round lovely experience. Good space between tables. Quite dark which gives a nice private vibe. Staff very welcoming, friendly and unpretentious. Waiter also casually asked if there was a bday at one stage and then surprised us with a bday candle, nice touch. Thanks team - all class!
