Collies and Co. Cafe
Owners Matt and Madeline have been pedigree Border Collie breeders and exhibitors for the better half of a decade and have incorporated their love of dogs and their puppy socialisation protocols into Collies and Co.
Guests are welcome to enter the puppy yard, cuddle and play with the puppies as well as ask questions, learn about the breed, training, socialisation, nutrition and more from trained animal attendants. and vet nurses.
Our outdoor dining setting is very dog friendly and we welcome guests to bring their own dogs and treat them to something from “Collies Kitchen”
Please visit www.colliesandco.com.au/bookings and read carefully before making a booking, as it is a condition of entry that you have read and agreed to the terms.
Even without the attraction of having the collies here, the food, coffee and cafe are amazing.
I had breakfast there and the food tasted great. It was better than I expected. The puppies where a nice touch.
We love Collie and Co! Great food, great people and great puppies!
I was looking forward to my visit but came home disappointed. The meals although nice were very expensive. The dog experience was not that great. They just seemed to hang around the carer who just kept feeding them treats. For the price I paid for lunch and a puppy experience I was dissatisfied and won’t be coming back.
I had the best time at Collies and Co. All of the staff were professional and made the experience one of a kind. They made the experience personable and went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was safe under these special conditions. The puppies were adorable!
Fantastic food and lovely people. The breakfast was amazing
Collies and Co. certainly lived up to the hype. Puppies... Food... Like minded individuals who love puppies just as much as their food made for an all time experience. The energy of the staff, patrons was infectious and made our time there worth the big trip.
They had also accommodated very well and as best they could during this difficult time for many cafes/restaurants and did not allow the new rules and regulations to intervene with the experience.
$15 for an avocado on toast that actually had avocado on a half slice of toast and 1 cherry tomato, what a joke. I can pay $7 for 2 slices of sourdough bread with avocado on both slices on a little coffee shop close to home... I will never be back. It felt like a robbery.
Great to see that they are still open but taking advice and managing the safety of both the patrons and more importantly the puppies with this CV-19 issue. Was nice to get some sort of normal into our day.
Great food. Beautiful staff. Cutest puppies in the world.
It was great. Loved the puppies
Highly recommend, although there aren’t alway border collies there, but you do get to cuddle rescue puppies.
Collies and Co. Cafe is FANTASTIC!! Can't get enough adorable puppy cuddles :-) Staff are lovely and the environment is serene. Can't wait for our next visit
Good food, nice staff, wish the time slots with the puppies were longer! Opt for the outside seating on a nice day.
Amazing food and coffee. The puppies were a bonus!
My 2 daughters and I had a beautiful experience with the gorgeous puppies. Lots of cuddles.
The service from all staff was fantastic and the food was amazing. Excellent quality and value. Highly recommend
Was a great experience and left me wanting a puppy so bad 😂 will definitely come back to get my puppy love fix
Best eggs Benny I've ever had. The pups were absolutely adorable. A fantastic experience.
My friends and I loved this cafe, the food was amazing and we had the best time with the puppies!!! Definitely would come back
Love the concept of a puppy cuddle cafe incorporating and encouraging fostering and adoption.
Amazing! Such fun! Highly recommend to anyone who loves good food and puppies!
Great time! My partner and I loved the puppies, but the food took quite a while to get to the table. Other than that we loved it and everyone was so lovely.
The puppies were an absolute delight and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
Puppy cuddles and delicious breakfast - what’s not to love 💕 We’ll definitely be back!
Fantastic concept of having rescue puppies socialised and in a safe and positive environment. We loved our experience of meeting many puppies and watching them play while we ate. We will be back!
Food, coffee and puppies... not much more to be said
Food and coffee were great and the puppys were so much fun
Great experience. Run very well. The puppies were very well cared for and clearly loved all the attention.
My partner and I loved the experience with the puppies, but honestly the service and food were amazing as well. Definitely recommend and will come back soon.
The staff are so kind and amazing! The puppies are so adorable and friendly. The food is outstanding. I am not GF but the GF pulled pork bun was the best I ever had.
Lovely Cafe and the food was awesome not at all expensive either. They are careful to check when your puppy session is when your order is placed. In our case they had the food ready for the end of our puppy session. The puppy are extremely well cared for and the staff are ourtstanding. When we visited there were 11 Great Dane/Boxer puppies, huge and very tame. I highly recommend a visit.
Collies & Co is a beautiful place for adults and children! The food and coffee is fantastic, the only small issue being the service is quite slow & tables are left with dirty dishes for upwards of an hour. Super friendly staff though & would absolutely visit again - thanks!
Our breakfasts (Breakfast greens and pancakes) were delicious and very good value. They were served promptly and staff were pleasant. The puppies were also lovely and there were so many of them. They seemed well cared for and were happy and playful and enjoyed the cuddles they were getting. Even though we attended early on a weekday, the cafe and the puppy cuddle area were busy so I imagine it would be very busy during the weekend.
Where do I begin. We booked a 10am table with a 10:15 puppy session. We were told it was full table service and someone will take our order shortly. It approached 10:15 and no one had taken our order, in fact no orders were being taken at any table and confused customers were going up to the counter to order. The 10:15 puppy session was called and I said to the staff that our order had not been taken yet, to which a staff member realised how long we had been waiting and rushed over. This took up the first 5 mins of our session, so by the time we got into the puppy area we only got to enjoy it for around 10 mins, which was disappointing as that was the purpose of our visit with our children. We then sat back down and our food was delivered, and it was below average. I ordered some avocado as an extra to my meal, it cost $4 and it wasn’t even fresh avocado. It was the pre packaged mashed stuff you buy in the fridge of the produce section and the serving was the size of a golf ball. Such a rip off. My sister’s meal was below par also, it was honestly something we could have made ourselves at home, not a beautiful cafe quality meal. Then my sister stood up to place her son in his pram and as she sat back down, the leg on her chair broke and she fell flat to the ground. A staff member came over to see what happened, apologised and said ‘these chairs were here when we took over the place, we don’t know how old they are’ and gave her a new chair. This happened in front of a cafe full of people, it was troubling and embarrassing for her. No one checked her properly to see if she was hurt, a manager didn’t come to see her to make sure everything was ok. When we went to pay, I thought the least the staff could do would be to offer her meal complimentary as compensation for the trouble and embarrassment caused, but no. She was charged full price. So disappointing. The service was poor, the food was poor, the whole experience was truly disappointing. We will not be back.
Puppies were gorgeous, extremely friendly staff, food was delish - i would just suggest dressing for the rain if it is raining. There is really not too much cover and you will get wet walking from the cafe to the puppy pens. The puppies get wet too so prepare to get dirty clothes.
The puppies were a highlight. The cafe itself was not. Our drinks came out just as we were called to the puppy session, which meant that sat there for 15 minutes melting and exsposed.
The price was also a bit steep.
My 10yrold and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch + puppies date. Food was great and reasonably priced. Puppies were AWESOME. We will certainly be re-booking in the future.
Was good. Would prob go in morning as puppies were sleeping a lot. Great service, really friendly and accommodating. Food was great!
We were very disappointed. Front garden is untidy with pots of weeds and ground is bear dirt. Hate to think what it's like with some rain!! Seating was unomfortable and more important service was abysmal. After ordering and waiting 45 mins with not even a coffee that was part of our order and no explanation from any staff we left.
PS Puppies were cute.
There’s Disney land and then there’s Collies & Co. love it there! Food is great, puppies are cute and service is awesome
