Great service, food, ambiance and price. A dinner out with friends from Louisiana, so they know good food! The owner (Jack) personally seated us and gave us a wonderful description of the restaurant, history and his vision. Our waiter (Daniel) was very helpful in selections and service. He was appropriately attentive and made sure we really enjoyed the experience. The food was fantastic. Right seasoning and taste. Another plus was my wife found a great white wine that she really loved! New favorite in Chicago!!
Every time we go to Coco Pazzo it is a wonderful evening. The food is superb and the experience makes you feel like you are dining at a fine restaurant in Italy.
The food and service was excellent.
We had a group of 10 and everyone loved their food.
Excellent in all respects. Impeccable service. And despite nearly full restaurant noise level let us communicate easily.
We've been visiting Coco Pazzo for over a decade. The food and service have remained consistently high in quality and value. The food is fresh and delicious. The service places priority on their fine dining experience. For us, Coco Pazzo is a must-visit when making dining plans while in town.
We were there for lunch to discuss business. Not very busy time and easy to discuss business. The choice of the food was tasty Service was good and friendly. Caesar Salad ,Eggplant dish ,Pasta with chicken liver and Spicy pasta dish were all excellent! Good choices of Wine .Definitely ,Always would love to come back!
Great food and service!!! We loved our experience!
Always an amazing epicurean treat! Love this place.
Disappointed. Nice ambiance and impeccable service, but food was disappointing. Linguine with clams was virtually inedible- extremely salty and dry, with virtually no sauce. Veal saltimbocca was decent, although slightly overdone. Given the nice ambiance and excellent service, I’d give them another shot, but would certainly avoid ordering the linguine with clams unless the preparation is improved.
we had a wonderful dinner at coco pazzo. it was quiet, we were not rushed, and the food was wonderful.
will definetely return on our next trip to chicago.
Coco Passover has lost it. Once one of the finest in Chicago, but now mediocre.
We have had some wonderful experiences there, however when we were there on June 29, the food and service were strictly second rate.
I expressed our concerns to Roberto Padilla, General Manger, but with great smugness, he blew me off
The food and service was outstanding. Polite and knowledgeable of answering questions of menu ,good wine selection, desserts where to die for. I will be back. They do not rush you though your dinner either.
Delicious authentic Italian
I thought the food was great and the service was good as well. Some of my group thought their food was too salty but I thought mine was perfect.
We sat outside. It was great!
Coco Pazzo is a favorite stop in Chicago. From the incredible, attentive, but not overkill service, to the amazing antipasto bar, to the phenomenal menu, to the warm and friendly atmosphere, this restaurant is a gem. We had the quagliette (quail) and the beef ravioli, and both were outstanding. The quagliette was a gardener's delight, with a fine mix of herbs and a delicious bed of kale and polenta. The beef ravioli tasted so homemade, with an underpinning of richness that evoked long hours of sauce stirring. A spring greens salad with radishes and tomatoes and the lightest of dressings was the perfect accompaniment. Dessert was impossible to ignore with the huckleberry panna cotta: rich and thick, with the piquant huckleberries as the perfect complement. For a special night on the town, Coco Pazzo is a gem.
Food, service were impeccable. Would highly recommend!
We came to Chicago for the Stones concert and stayed over for another night. Not knowing anything about Chitown restaurants took a stab at Coco Pazzo based on OpenTable reviews. We weren't disappointed - great anitpasti selections and the fresh branzino that my wife had was done perfectly. The wine list is pretty much all Italian at reasonable prices.
Our server Angelica was so great to the two of us.
If we ever come back to Chicago this restaurant will be on our list.
Eating at Coco Pazzo was truly an exceptional experience. The entire experience was great and the service and food were tremendous. I have been recommending Coco Pazzo to everyone I have spoken to since we ate there.
We love Coco Pazzo! Amazing space! The food is creative and delicious. One of our Chicago favorites.
Restaurant was empty when we arrived for an early reservation. They would not seat us at the any of the open tables near the windows as requested. Must have been saving these tables for their "preferred" customers. Tables we were offered were all near the wait stations with wait staff mulling around there.
We love this place - portions are just right, atmosphere is perfectly unassuming but casually sophisticated, and every bite is delicious, from my Saltimbocca to his hand tossed pizza, right down to the fantastic flourless chocolate cake.
The best experience all around. Management definitely has their finger on all aspects. A place I frequently will dine at and recommend to all.
Great food. Great service. Quiet for a business dinner.
Food was a little salty for us, otherwise everything else was great.
We had an excellent dining experience..service was very attentive and waiter automatically plated our shared items separately. The menu choices were somewhat limited, but our choices were expertly prepared and delicious. General vibe was casual refined dining.. we definitely plan a return visit
Coco Pazzo never disappoints. We were with friends that we hadn’t seen for awhile and the staff were very patient. The food was delicious and the whole experience perfect
Service and food were both EXCELLENT! Portions were just right. Background music was loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough to have a non shouting conversation! Sounds like I’m really old but I’m not! LOL!
Reliable food and service. Great choice is you're looking for a good restaurant near the Merchandise Mart.
Always a great experience. Ambiance is wonderful. Food delicious.
Host was amazing however the restaurant was very busy and we were seated by the kitchen door and next to a large piece of buffet furniture and the servers had to continuously interrupt our dinner by walking behind two of our guests chairs to reach drawers with silverware in them to set a new table. The server was very busy and was rushing us, but inattentive at the same time.... which was a disappointment because we were there for a special event. The restaurant overall looks tired, a little dirty, and needs a refresh.
This was one of the best Italian meals I’ve ever had. Pasta was delicious—al dente and full of flavor. Fantastic service—extremely attentive waitstaff. Loved this place.
Always go to one of the Coco Pazzo’s when in Chicago. Food, service, everything is always exceptional.
Delicious food. Daniel, our server, knew his food and wine. Friendly, classy food and service. Brandi o of course was excellent!
We had Saturday night reservations for two, but ran into some friends who decided to join us. It took some squeezing, but they were able to accommodate us. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing... as always! We will certainly be back.
Excellent service, quiet enough to really talk, food was great.
Delicious and great atmosphere!
Beautiful setting, top quality ingredients
