Very good service and nice wibe
Food was very good. Small menu but options for most anyone. Shares the downstairs bathroom with Sweetwater so it's like going to the club if you need the facilities.
One observation I made was that the wait staff didn't seem happy and certainly not very friendly. Host was nice when greeting us, then spent the rest of the time talking to friends at the bar. Wait staff was slow, not personable and all carried an expressionless look. Kind of strange actually.
Thank you for sharing your experience at CoCo & Cru! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the food, however we are sorry that you had an unsatisfactory experience, we have addressed your comments with our staff.
The food was O.K. but that attitude... More courtesy would make the difference.
Thank you for sharing your experience at CoCo & Cru! We are disheartened and sorry that you had an unsatisfactory experience, we have addressed your comments with our staff. We hope to see you again.
The food was exceptional.! The service outstanding!
Perfect spot for a casual cozy meal. Servers were all so friendly especially coco., and attentive.
Food choices were for all vegetarian as well as meat lovers!
Very casual spot that we liked. The food was excellent but the menu was a little limited. If you want atmosphere, go to another spot...good food and good service? Go to Coco and Cru
great, healthy food for a fair price. good variety and delicious vegan options.
Very load! Food was excellent
Bathroom was absolutely filthy...someone had thrown up and it was not cleaned...reeked everywhere. Sink area very unsanitary, too.
I for a chicken Caesar salad...little too much dressing. Service ok, had to ask for a few things at different points.
Great atmosphere; over priced food and drinks but we got free orange juice with our bottle of Prosecco.
Excellent noho spot
Solid food and great value.
Went there for brunch. Decent food but very noisy because of the amount of tables in a small space. The tables are pretty much touching so get ready to apologize to the people next to you for the occasional elbow hit. Pouched eggs were overcooked. Service was great though which helped get them get the extra star.
Great local spot for brunch and dinner. Food and service is excellent.
Out shopping on Black Friday picking up some goods ordered on line. Feeling hungry and looking for a place to eat. Right next to us was Coco. We looked it up on OpenTable. Saw we good get a table right away and walked in. Food was very good. But our server and the rest of the staff really made the experience excellent. She was friendly, funny and spot on with everything. I will definitely come back next time I am in the neighborhood
The "PAT LAFRIEDA “CORNER SHOP” BURGER" was phenomenal. We weren't sure we were going to stay because timing of our guest but it all worked out and staff so accommodation. It's a small place and can be loud but we were able to a quiet conversation between the 4 of us.
Too loud and seats too close to each other
Quinoa crusted tuna was absolutely delicious. Serve was incredible because the waiter was personable and fun. Drinks were slurped in seconds. A little pricey for every night but worth it.
The food is good. Conversation is impossible. The noise level is driven primarily by very loud, frenetic music, which meant you have had to shout your food orders to the waiter, and the four of us left with ears ringing and headaches. The malt vinegar which was to accompany my fish and chips was missing. It took several attempts to communicate with the wait staff that I wanted malt because although I spoke loudly, I was not heard. When "background" music interferes with efficient service, and the pleasure of talking while enjoying a meal, that restaurant will not get a another visit, despite the food.
just a bit pricey but was good - food was very good and great choices
Food and ambiance were 👌🏻. Service was a little slow, but we weren’t in a hurry so it didn’t negatively affect our experience. The meatloaf was delicious, would definitely order again. A lot of happy hour options! Fun place!
Nice variety of choices! I had super healthy green bowl💚 Would recommend if in area for yummy relaxed brunch!
The service was mediocre, my friend had to send back her reheated and tasteless brussel sprouts, the music was way to loud especially as the restaurant cleared. My cobb salad was ok, it needed romaine lettuce as the egg, bacon, blue cheese kind of wilted the soft greens.
Super cool place. Not super obvious where it is in the dark, but when you find it it's well worth it. Adorable little place, cool club below, delicious food, great staff. Would definitely go again.
If you're looking for a good casual place, Coco & Cru is it. It's more diner than fine dining, but the food was well above par and the service very good. Prices were excellent for this neighborhood.
The inside is super cute ! It’s fun for a date or a drink to catch up with a friend
Love the different healthy options. Restaurant also always has a great 90s playlist
We went here for brunch and were not disappointed by the menu or the food. Everything was fresh and delicious. But the noise level was untenable. I could not hear my husband who sat directly across the table from me. We ended up eating very quickly so we could escape the din. Granted, it’s a small space, but even so, it seemed Ill-designed to accommodate a lot of people at peak times. Unfortunately it made for an unpleasant dining experience and I don’t think I would go back unless they did something to improve the acoustics in there.
Great food, music was way too loud even after having asked the server to turn it down
This place was just okay. The music was loud and unpleasant at a crowded Saturday brunch, where I and my date had to shout to hear each other. The restaurant is casual, packed with NYU students. The menu was appealing but neither of our meals actually tasted any better than average. The service was rushed and the person serving us needed to be asked to serve the coffee and croissant we had ordered. With tip, all of this cost over $60 for an experience that wasn't especially pleasant.
Very quick, yummy food. Good service. Nice brunch place
Nice food and great service but at $6 for a tiny Cappacino which apparently was the biggest they had - not worth going. Guess I was comparing to cafes back in Aus but would not recommend.
The food tasted great! The fries are unbeatable!! We were seated right away according to my reservation time. I was a bit disappointed in how long it took for food to come out and the attentativeness of the staff. The music was a bit loud and I felt like I had to really project my voice across the table to speak to my friend. The table was wobbly. Originally, my reservation was marked absent with OpenTable requiring me to follow up to assure it was corrected which was annoying.
Tastiest healthy food ever. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Wish I lived closer or they would open up on the Upper East Side.
No AC...and waited over half an hour for our brunch...
Great food. Plenty of options. Huge portions. Green bowl was very tasty. highly recommended.
No air conditioning
I would recommend, but not at prime lunch time. Way too noisy to have a conversation. Food good and staff pleasant and helpful.
Just unremarkable
Not enough Australian options!
