My husband and I shared the burrata and heirloom tomatoes, the curried cauliflower, the Moroccan chicken (a bit spicier than traditional fried chicken) and the petite filet with potato millefeuille. Everything was delicious and it was more than enough for the two of us. My husband somehow found room for the yogurt panna cotta for dessert and gave it rave reviews.
Love the vibe, it’s cool and relaxed. Amazing food and service! The cocktails were a hit too.
The food is amazing
The food is outstanding. I take that back, the food is magnificent. Oops, I take that back. The food is incredible from starters to deserts. The food is so good you need to remember the deserts are also and leave some room to have them. We have now taken 8 different people there and all have the same reaction. Great food from starter to desert.
The Moroccan fried chicken is to die for !!
Loved this new location of Cleo! The waitstaff and manager were very attentive in our every need. Get the scallops, branzino, and brussel sprouts.
Food was overpriced for size and quality
Great, flavorful food! Though it took a while to get simple things and they did get food wrong twice. But the wait staff was very nice and we had a nice time anyway.
Food was excellent, service was good overall. It just took more than usual time to serve the food.
Service fee was a lot for the bad service they have
Food & service make this one of the best restaurants we frequently go to. The food is simply fantastic.
Great food. It's tapas style, which is a lot of fun. You take your time eating, talking and having a good time with family/friends.
Great food and amazing service
Way too loud!
We ordered the $55 special. We were told we ALL had to order it. If we could, We should have ordered two and a couple of extra sides.
Only issue was that they said that Open Table doesn’t give them information regarding outside vs inside seating preferences despite me choosing that option while booking
Brought my dad here to have dinner. All the food was delicious but the portions on the “sharing menu” are really more for one person and quite small for the $ but very flavorful.
Octopus was delicious!
Greek salad, not much flavor.
Service was great.
Food was delish! Best Labneh and laffa bread! Amazing brussel sprout chips. Scrumptious all around dinner
Cleo is a terrific restaurant serving contemporary Mediterranean food done very well. The ambiance is hip and yet it also feels like a good neighborhood spot. Good service and nice people. The only criticism is that they are a bit stingy with some of the apps that usually come in abundance like the hummus and the babaganoush. These are inexpensive to make and represent the core of hospitality - they should serve more than a couple of tablespoons worth for that price... other than that - it was really good.
Ambiance no good. Food decent.
Girl at the front was no good.
Server was good.
Too expensive given the quality of food.
Great service, fast seating.
This had to be some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. We will definitely be back!
Wierd A la carte, over priced. just meh. Wouldnt go back. Plain and boring
I live very close to the (not yet reopened) Cleo in Hollywood. We went very often. This one has good food and our server was very good. The negative part was the hostess (first person we saw) looked very unhappy. She sat us at a table close to the open sliding glass door and as it was cold, we asked to be seated at the back which she did but never once smiled nor did we feel welcome at all. There was a gentleman who walked around seemingly checking on things but also looked stressed and stern. Never once smiled and we felt like we were bothering them by being there. I understand that it’s stressful to have a restaurant, but once on the floor, you have to convey to your customer that they are welcome and that they should spend their evening there- and be happy to return- especially when there are many other options in the neighborhood. I will give them another try but hope that they lighten up and allow their patrons to enjoy their experience.
Lovely Mediterranean restaurant in West Hollywood with healthy food, a friendly atmosphere, and a welcome change from some of the same old culinary experiences in the area! Will definitely be back : )
Waitress was very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations. Perfect for a casual evening of good food!
Went for a GNO .. foodis always good .. was a bit loud our night lots of people felt like stepping out lol but we didn’t mind
Carlos was a very kind host!
Great place to share many plates with friends. The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant decor/ambiance was great. We ordered veggie and seafood dishes, and they were all amazing. Too bad the service was not up to par - the food came out as prepared (but it wasn't dropped off by our waitress). Our waitress didn't circle back for rounds of drinks (we only got our first order of drinks in, we ordered another round and waited so long we had finished our meal!).
Service coming in wasn’t great, booked with a reservation, they scrambled to find us a table when the place was half empty. When sat in a dark area upstairs, we asked if we could sit where we could see each other and was told no, we have 200 guests coming in with reservations.
Not sure what happened to the service at this new location. Old location was 10x better. The new location is also very very small compared to the old one. It gets very busy here, not enough servers. Reservation was at 8:30, we got seated at 8:50pm. Ordered drinks and 5 tapas. The Tapas came before the drinks. Manager was nice enough to comp the drinks, but still.
Delicious cuisine, fun decor and a great atmosphere!
Food is so good and service was good too! Only downside was they sat us next to the kitchen (why???) and they were out of my favorite wine :(
LOVED THIS. Classy but casual atmosphere with fun staff and delicious food!
We were put in a freezing cold bar and our server was super sweet just too busy to give us the full attention. Food is great but was super late on one dish they had to fire it up a second time. Wasnt the best experience. also was charged 2 dollars more for a vodka rocks ...apparently the ice cost 2 bucks.
Skewers took way to long to come out
Just not great
Big fan of Cleo’s small plates. Full of flavor and memorable.
