Claude Bosi at Bibendum
The food is sublime and I would really recommend this for a special occasion as it is very expensive.
Some dishes were a bit too salty, otherwise great restaurant. Lovely service, gave Christmas cards on the way out.
Superb dinner and fantastic service who looked after us from the beginning. Allergies were catered for and the food was simply delicious.
Fabulous evening. Great food, attentive service and beautiful building in which to dine
Great sommelier, extraordinary food, beautifully presented
The food was exceptional, the best experience possible.
The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was relaxing.
I had the scallop to start, followed by the sea bass, cheese course, and finally the chocolate souffle. Everything was expertly executed, the delicate flavours combined beautifully, as one would expect from French cuisine. My favorite dish was the chocolate souffle.
It was also nice catching a glimpse of Chef Claude Bosi in the kitchen. This is my favorite French restaurant in London as of this time.
Exceptional food and service!
Outstanding service, menu, and wine pairings. We could not recommend the restaurant enough.
Food, service, ambience, wine list - absolutely spot on. Couldn't have asked for a better lunching experience.
All was amazing
Excellent every time! Really imaginative dishes superbly prepared and presented
Great meal in a beautiful room. The food was skillfully prepared. The service was friendly and attentive. Excellent wine list.
This is simply on of the finest dining experiences ever, gastronomy of the absolute highest level and one of the greatest meals ever tasted. From the amuse bouche through to the chocolate soufflé via raw prawns and "my mums tripe and cuttlefish gratin" the quality, flavours, presentation and service was outstanding. 3 Michelin Star Food
Excellent service as always, very informative helpful friendly staff, lovely ambiance in a stunning setting, maybe a slightly wider choice of food on menu, celebrated my wife’s birthday as a surprise, pleasantly welcomed and enjoyed, she’s getting used to Michelin starred restaurants, an expensive hobby
Truly outstanding in every way - quite exceptional food, presentation, service. Memorable and wonderful occasion and can’t wait to go back. All the staff truly as professional as they come. You can’t get better than this, anywhere.
An absolutely wonderful Lunch! The service, information quality and The theatre of the food with well advised wine, Impeccable!
Excellent lunch....very high quality. Particularly enjoyed the Sunday roast.
Anniversary celebration and the restaurant was magnificent
Exceptional cuisine, very good service, but terrible hosting and maitre d, unbecoming of the rest
We had the degustation menu. The amuse bouche, the egg with topinambour mousse, duck gelée and caviar, nossoto, john dory were spectacular. We were nonetheless disapointed by the rabbit dish as it was not bringing a climax to the previous dishes. And dessert came suprisingly in not as we ordered as they brought to cep when we had ordered one cep and on chocolate soufflé. The cep advertised as the specialty was too frosty and the souffle which arrived later was overcooked.
The service was perfect and efficient.
This was everything you expect from a Michelin star restaurant, the service was peerless and the food innovative and delicious, while still paying homage to the chefs culinary roots.
Exciting experience with non ordinary food and charming environment
Great place, food and service are first class! Friendly atmosphere and superb decoration!!!
We got engaged in the morning and so this was for a celebratory supper. The food was absolutely incredible and I can't tell you what an exciting taste journey we went on! I could not recommend this restaurant enough and the service is impeccable especially from Dorianne. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for and here it is as close to perfect as possible. The guinea fowl was sensational and the chocolate souffle was mouthwateringly delicious.
Great evening, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food was outstanding, service was excellent, a little pricey but you pay for what you get.
This was a 30th birthday treat for my daughter. We had an outstanding lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was delightful. It isn't cheap but it is very special. My only negative is that I would have preferred to have decided myself how much I left as a service charge. I know it's commonplace but I think it is a bit cheeky to impose a 15% charge. They would probably have got this but it would nice to have been in my "gift".
We cannot fault the service or the food. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and we declared it one of the best Michelin meals we’ve had. The setting is sublime. Our only minor complaint was a table alongside us was very loud. Manners and money don’t always go together.
Amazing experience. Perfectly cooked food with dramatic presentation. Impeccably service. Would definitely return m
Overall it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and the service excellent - both attentive and unobtrusive. My fellow diners and I were unanimous in our enjoyment of out starters and main courses. The only slight miss in our opinion was the souffle, which had too much of a cakey texture, thought the chocolate flavour was great. I am also not really a fan of the mouth feel of cocoa butter, so the olive canape was also not my thing.
The Room was beautiful...inventive space, the food was ok ... I expected better, some of the dishes, like the crab, was completely overpowered by other ingredients, although the ingredients were very high quality. The service was slow at first (2 hours to get three courses), it took us at least 8 minutes to be able to ask someone to speed up the courses, they sped up a little after we asked, but there was no presence at the table even after the staff knew there might be an issue. We ordered nice wines and had great company, which saved the night. In the end, we asked for service to be removed from the bill, the server happily obliged, then the Maitre' D came over and asked if we were displeased, my guests spoke up and said, the service was awful, we didn't know who our captain was and there was no pretense by staff at our table...also they disliked the food and that we had a tasting menu earlier in the day. The Maitre D's response was "I ate at (the place we mentioned) last week and it was the worst dining experience I ever had" and that "I know you will not be coming back so I guess that is that". What kind of Maitre D' dismisses their guests that just spent $1500 in their restaurant...additionally dismissing our judgement was completely uncalled for...certainly not 2 Star Michelin Service. I was embarrassed for suggesting the restaurant in the first place and wouldn't recommend this restaurant until things change...there are much better options in London.
Very disappointing. Painfully slow service, didn’t tell us about 25 minute wait for soufflé until the end of a 2 hour meal for the first two courses alone
Hard to fault Claude Bosi's new setup at Bibendum. The room is spacious and comfortable, the staff are professional but relaxed and unstuffy, and the food betters (maybe?) Hibiscus. I don't think there's a better place to eat in London right now. Save up and go.
Everyone tried very hard to deliver service and good food. The food was not to my taste and the service was “fussy” and a bit pretentious, but, then again, it is French and such is their way. Previously advised, some may find it just to their liking and enjoy.
told the restaurant before the dinner that i am allrrgic to seafood and fish. a shame that there where only 2!! dishes on the menu that i could choose. very poor for a two star restaurant....
those two diahes where pretty good, but not worth the price. left with a bad feeling after i was looking forwarf to this dinner for a long time.
Very friendly, knowledgable staff
Amazing food, amazing service in a one of a kind environment
Best meal in London. Simply delicious and beautifully presented.
We had an outstanding evening . Service is superb, dinner pace is perfect, assistance from the sommelier just perfect. This is an expensive evening that combines excellent food with spot on service that justifies the cost.
Food was generally of great quality. However, the seabass we had was over cooked. What let the side down was service. The front of house was superb, but the wait between courses was extremely long. Even if it was for the longer tasting menu, it should not have taken 4.5 hrs to serve 10 courses.
