Had a reservation but still had to wait a half hour for a table. After we sat we realized maybe they were shortstaffed. It took a while for food to come out which meant cold food and hot plates. Maybe the flu was going around or maybe it’s always like this. This was a first time visit. The food was okay. Some dishes were good some were not. This place has been here a long time and just disappointed. Our server, Pat, was very nice and attentive though.

Well having been coming here for years, I have to say they seem to be on the decline a bit. Food was good, but my drink, a martini tasted weak and watered down. Service was a bit slow, but the server was nice and friendly. It just seems to be missing the vibe of a great, fresh restaurant.

Went here for a Birthday Lunch. We had a very good time and a very good meal. The only negative would be that the service was a little slow at times. Not terrible but slow at times. We will be back.

Hostess didn’t notice one of our party was in a wheelchair. Brought us to a a booth and still didn’t notice. When I pointed it out we were told oh sorry should have been in the reservation. Then we waited another 20 minutes until I pointed out there were empty tables. Our food took forever and we hardly saw the waitress. My wife ordered a chicken salad that arrived without the chicken. When we pointed it out they were like oh, You want the chicken? Then brought a few pieces of chicken on a plate. It was cold and terrible. Then the waitress got an attitude when we said we don’t want this. Overall it was a terrible experience

The absolute best chicken pot pie and chicken fingers. Seriously, they're the best in all of Chicagoland! Service is excellent as well.

Don't order an untoasted Clubhouse sandwich. Stale bread. Dry. Pass on the slaw, as well. Overpriced. Disappointing.

Hostess tried to seat us next to the dish station - very noisy; but relocated us , to a quieter table. Service was okay, waitress was pleasant, but never checked on drinks or refilled water glasses. We ordered back ribs - they were overdone, almost charred and dried out. Baked potato was ok as was mac and cheese. I have been there before and have had better food and service. Maybe it was just an off night.

I have been to Claim Jumpers a ton of times so I recommended we got there to have my mom's birthday dinner. I was extremely disappointed. We arrived on time for our appointment and it took 20 minutes to seat us. There were tons of empty tables so no idea why it took so long. I listed on the reservation that it was to celebrate a birthday but no one mentioned anything about it. The waitress seemed like she was either new or just didn't know what she was doing. Two of the food orders got screwed up. My brother and my mom ordered tri tip, his was supposed to come with sausage but it was missing and the wrong side was with it. My mom they brought her ribs instead. She said she could discount it or there would be a wait. She took the ribs. The discount was $6. I thought it would have be comped or half price but $6 off for something that wasn't ordered. A manager never came by to see us, apologize or anything. I don't like causing a scene so I didn't complain. Then we were around for a while talking. Once the bill was paid we never saw our waitress again. I had to flag down another server to get containers or a bag. It just was disappointing all around. From the wait, to the horrible service, to the fact the food wasn't even that great. Not sure if I will ever go back.

The server Jess was great. Her personality and attentive . The only thing that was upsetting was that they changed the bread and no longer make it in house .... it’s not good anymore . But other than that, everything is great .

The menu is fantastic. So hard to choose. Even the cocktails and the after dinner cocktails are going to be fun to try to emulate at home. Very nice ambiance.

Food was okay. Server was good, but they seemed short-staffed. The main problem was the temperature in the restaurant had to be in the mid-60's. Many people had their coats on. We asked the Manager to turn up the heat...and he said there was nothing he could do. Hard to enjoy your dinner when you're shivering.

We had reservations on Valentine’s Day only waited few minutes in the bar area. Drink prices aren’t too expensive tho our drinks were 90% ice and served without the customary limes in our vodka gimlets. We ordered drinks again with dinner without ice since we still had plenty from our originals, tho again served without limes.
My full slab of ribs were served hot and were good, the fried tho plentiful were darn near cold so had a couple and left the rest.
Would I return, hmm certainly not in a rush that’s for sure especially with so many options in the area.

Had a reservation. It took 3 girls to work the reservation desk and we stood for 7-8 minutes while they discussed where to seat us. Then another family didn’t have a reservation and they told them it would be awhile. We waited and they set them first. Waitress forgot to bring us several things. Plus brought baked potato when we ordered mashed. We had been before and enjoyed it more.

We had a great salad and attempted the club sandwich. Neither of us cared for it and the waiter removed from our bill. Fantastic service solves problems and definitely will come back. Thanks for making a potentially awkward night go well. Kudos to your waiter.
Cheers.

The tri tip was inedible. 2 of the five ordered it and neither finished. 2 had filets both felt they had no taste. Our salads came out with a teaspoon of dressing. We asked 2 people for more, never showed. Only saving grace the drinks where ok.
