The food is very good and the location with the sea view is fabulous. The service was excellent even with the busy crowd.

Very enjoyable dinner for two at Cirrus. Elegant fine dining restaurant, excellent service, good location. Excellent selection of wines by the glass, including (for our visit) an outstanding Trimbach riesling.

Such a brilliant meal. We were fortunate to find a last-minute booking. We're all foodies and not only was the food exceptional, the vibe of Cirrus had that beautiful balance of being self confident but not at all arrogant. If you're into food put this on your must-do list.

Mine was a let’s do lunch. My expectation was that I would actually get lunch, not part of a lunch that required completion by purchasing more. There was plenty of food, and the cooking was flawless, but the inclusion of bread, or potato, for instance, would have given balance.

I would prefer not to be asked four times whether everything was “ok”. When I eventually responded with the above, the waiter involved immediately ran away without comment. In due course the maître d arrived and repeated the question, this the fifth time it had been posed, presumably offering me an opportunity to repeat my reservations. He listened and responded courteously although nothing was resolved.

Absolutely fantastic! Service was wonderful, food was delicious and the wine amazing.

Not many restaurants get it right anymore and these guys nailed it. Cant wait to come back!

I have a very severe shellfish allergy and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was accommodated, not once was I made to feel like a nuisance. A MASSIVE thank you!!

The food was generally excellent. The seafood platter was beautiful even if it lacked the usual lobster tail. The barramundi main and roast salmon too were beautifully prepared but the Marron was disappointing.

Service was a little slow and they seemed under staffed.

My real issue is at these price points is it really necessary to charge $3 for a pretty ordinary bread roll? The sides too are overpriced. $12 for ordinary chips and $24 for Roasted Pumpkin + Pepitas + Cavolo Nero!!!

I agree with other reviews - there is little ambience for a fine dining restaurant.

So lovely food but overpriced and not a fine dining experience.

Fantastic location close to the water, easily accessible by train. Great open dining space with lots of natural light. Attentive service. Food is phenomenal. I would buy all the sauces that came on the dishes if they sold them in jars - especially the smoked almond sauce! Very much worth the visit. I hope they continue this standard of food and service, as I will be back!

Business dinner, which was just as well as it proved to be relatively expensive for the quality and ambiance of the restaurant. Nothing to fault directly, except it was paying above what I think is reasonable. Worked out >$200/head with a modest wine.

The food at Cirrus is excellent - well presented, and the fit-out, natural light and ambience is great. The only thing that let this place down when we went is the service. There were long periods of time when we were simply ignored and we had to try hard to flag someone down - and it wasn't even that busy. However, still a very enjoyable meal and I'd definitely go back.

Vegetable/ salad sides better than fish main. As a dessert lover none of three options looked good enough to try. Generally over rated.

A very pleasant evening marred by having to move tables for our dessert as the next booking was at 8.30. We did not dilly dally and having spent almost $600 we were left feeling a little flat. The service was very good and couldn't fault the staff. Food was a little underwhelming especially the crab and I am not sure that the dishes are really share fishes though that is how that are promoted. Always awkward sharing a piece of fish. Probably won't rush back.

Great food and excellent service. The only minor criticism would be the air conditioning which was set in cold on a damp and miserable day. But a lovely lunch

We chose Cirrus for a landmark birthday. We wanted fine dining without the uptight service, and that is what we got. The meal felt special without being oppressive because the staff were friendly and professional, but not fussy. The food was outstanding.

Sensational. You expect a lot from the Bentley people.. this place delivers. Great flavours with fascinating combinations. All dishes terrific starting with fish terrine and great lettuce dish. Bugs were gorgeous. Both fish inc the one cooked in bark were great and the 2 sides we ate (tomato, beetroot) would have been worthy of reviews in their own right. We were of 2 minds re dessert - good thing we went ahead. The peach dessert was astonishing. Wine list good- as one would expect from NH

What an experience Cirrus was! We dined there our first night in Sydney and the waiter explained the specials in detail and gave us great advice. The wine matched our choice of fish and seafood perfectly. The mahi mahi was just cooked to perfection and the bonito was equally enjoyable.

The shared seafood platter for entree was great value and lovely. Service was average. The fish and chops were excellent- chips up there with best I've ever had. Mains across the board quite good but thought the restaurant lacked ambience and was not as good as I'd expected. It didn't have the wow factor.
