Cinnamon Bazaar is the latest restaurant & cocktail bar from Vivek Singh's range of Cinnamon restaurants, situated in London’s Covent Garden.

We are a dining concept that mixes real Indian heritage with urban London, and our menus have been inspired by the marketplaces that lie on the trading routes that connect the empires of the Old World.

The cross-cultural dining experience embraces the democratic spirit of a bazaar, making us a real cultural melting pot – the perfect place to eat, drink, relax and celebrate.

Our private dining room, the Khari Baoli, is situated on the first floor above the hustle & bustle of the restaurant, and can accommodate 12 – 30 guests in this picturesque dining room, featuring its very own private bar. It is a real democratic place for people to meet, eat, drink, exchange ideas, work and celebrate.

It used to be a decent restaurant.
This time food and drinks were, to be kind, so mediocre

Really loved the tapas style & would probably not bother with mains & just order more of the smaller dishes in future. Bartenders were entertaining & the waitress was great!

The food is absolutely delightful. Kind and friendly staff. I went back only a week later after the first visit. Can't wait to go back to try more dishes.

This is an interesting restaurant though not really a traditional "Indian" restaurant though it has some lovely dishes. The chaat is excellent and freshly made. There was not a great choice for vegetarians though what was available was excellent

Lovely restaurant, large portions, my friend and I could have shared every course! The portion size is one of the reasons I would go back. I really liked the interior decor. The only criticism I have is that it took a very long time for the dessert to come after the main and we had to remind them twice. Staff were really lovely though so it was almost not an issue.

The cocktails and food were good quality and I enjoyed the ambience of the place. But the service was far too pushy and intrusive...we got interrupted several times by staff midway through conversations. Also sometimes it was 2-3 different staff asking the same question showing no coordination amongst them. I'm sorry that level of service is not acceptable when you're charging £50pp for a meal.

I don't normally do reviews but Afternoon Tea at the Cinnamon Bazaar was so poor I feel compelled to do so. It was poor both in terms of presentation and quality. Started reasonably well with the pre dishes but the actual event was truly disappointing. Thrown together, poor quality, poor variety - other than chicken or fish both sandwich selections had same fillings - macrons and cake were tired and dry. Won't be returning or recommending. Shame.

Seated upstairs but service seemed 'distant' to say the least. Almost had to shout for attention. Left alone at the beginning the wine we ordered sat on the counter for nearly 10 minutes until we requested it was provided. Had to request a cooler.
Food arrived slightly tepid and was reasonably flavoursome.
Wont go again.

Been here twice. Food is amazing and location is good. Your staff are ok but lack attention to detail. Enquiries are dealt with a bit slowly. Hard to get their attention as they don’t make much eye contact with tables.

Very cramped restaurant, very noisy not the dining experience we were anticipating. Really disappointed We enjoy cooking recipes from Vivek’s books and were anticipating something special . This unfortunately was not the case. If this is typical of all his restaurants would not recommend.

The food is good, although a couple of dishes were not that great. In general the ingredients were fresh and the dishes tasty.
Service was very slow and not particularly friendly or welcoming. Not rude, just a bit awkward, and we had to ask a couple of times for some things (ie. to see a food menu when we sat down!)
Nice experience over all though.

The food is delicious as always, bursting with flavours. Service was good and friendly, ambience was good too. Tables are a little bit too small and close together, making it a bit of squeeze. Worth it for the food though. Great central location too. Not my first time here and certainly won’t be the last.

Pre-Theatre set menu, fantastic value and delicious food. Plenty to choose from, a true taste of India in London. The cinnamon Bellini was very easy to drink as well and paired very well with our starters.

Service was ok, food
didn't impress me.
£17 for a dry, curry flavoured shepherds pie. No, not again.
Wilted greens discoloured from over cooking.
Had a hot starter to share, something like parcels of chicpeas smoothred in some gluppy sauce.
Sorry guys, not for me.

We chose Bazaar, as we really wanted to try one of the Cinnamon Club group, but less formal. First impressions were good. Nice cocktails at the bar, and staff seemed very friendly. We ordered the tasting menu, which I expected to showcase the food available. But it was all rather disappointing. Nothing jumped out with a WOW. Everything seemed to be pre prepared and a lot of the things had very similar sauces/chutneys. And really not sure what the aubergine dish was covered in - bird seed, I think (terrible). The lamb was mushy (sous vide?) and then “smoked” to add flavour. Dull. And the service was very rushed and table very cramped. Dinner for 2 with 2 cocktails and 2 beers each cost £140! Perhaps our expectations were too high, but this was really disappointing. Asked if we would go back, or recommend to others, the answer is definitely NO.
