Food was fantastic, the signature duck roll did not disappoint. Cocktails were perfect. We had a booth seat which was beautiful but the couches could use some love. Will be going back again.

I booked this restaurant after viewing the menu online and which was also attached to my booking confirmation with Open Table. On arriving at the restaurant we were given a limited menu with minimal choices and the prices much more expensive. Requested water took 10 minutes to arrive. We had to get staff attention to order drinks and again to order food. Entrees arrived separately and one was missing and had to be reordered. The food when it arrived was lovely. Main meals very tasty. Dessert was a tiny serving and once again one missing. Overall the service was terrible. Food very good.

Great food and service, the lighting was low which made it a little difficult to see the menu. Also chairs peeling away and flaking off, tables a little high in the booth to the seat height, felt a little out of proportion in the booth.

An exciting menu with clever twists. The twice cooked broccoli and the 4 mushroom dish are standouts. Waygu beef with asparagus-amazing. The prawns are fantastic but be prepared for the spice level! Eggplant chips also delicious. A great dining experience. We were a large group and had our own room which was fantastic. We will be back!!

So fabulous to be back. We had the banquet for 4 and every dish was delicious. Could not finish it all. The service was very attentive and wine list was extensive with the waiter having good knowledge. Thoroughly recommend this loving dining experience. George and Kathy Forrest

everything I looked up indicated Chinese. The bill heading indicated Chinese. my duck entree was not like Chinese. the deep fried ice cream was not Chinese. Staff were capable, my food was disappointing.

This restaurant never fails to please. I've eaten there about 9 times now most recent experience was the de-gustation menu last Saturday 6th of March 2021. This is my favourite way of dining, and I've had de-gustation in most Australian capitals. I can unequivocally say our meal was excellent value and superb large portions. The only negative was the desert a very uninspiring deep fried ice cream, which was awful and didn't fit in with the previous superb dishes. I would've finished the repast off with something light like lychees and coconut cream or ice cream. Or even green tea and black sesame ice cream combo.

Booked a table for 8 and were nicely surprised to be given our own private room. Food was delicious, especially the handmade chicken noodles and honey chicken. Lovely service as well. Would definitely return if we lived in Canberra (visiting from Sydney).

Very disappointing. Don’t order the 200g wagu beef. It’s is neither of these. This use to be an excellent restaurant. It is not so any longer.

The food was amazing, but the service was not very good it was Sunday and only 2 tables but the waiter was focusing on the other table once they came in. We ran out of water, we asked for more never came, we ordered tea and it never came till we asked for it. The menu where left on the table so we had to place them on the floor as once the food arrived we had no room, empty plates where left on the table as we finished the dishes, and we had to pile them up at the end of the table. Other wise it was good. We just felt like once this other table had come in we where no one, yes the other table looked like hard work and maybe regulars, but there where only us and them..

The food was incredible. The restaurant was almost empty so no problems with noise or service. Some of the most delicious Chinese I've had in a long time - modest serving sizes and not cheap, so keep that in mind.

Outstanding food—ordered a mix of starters, mains and rice to share among four adults and two kids. The meal was delicious—every dish was a winner. Possibly the best Chinese food in Canberra. Service is slow but friendly. The wine list is good and my kids loved their pink lemonade. Will definitely return.

Cinnabar took my booking on OepnTable for a 7:45 dinner for two. Confirmed via email. All dressed up we went to the restaurant only to find it closed for the holiday period. With all other restaurants full we were stuck. Horrendous service.
