Cinar Turkish Restaurant
All food, desserts and bread are made by us. The only thing we do not have is the liquor. Don't worry :) Cinar offers BYOB (Bring your own bottle). We do not charge cork or serving fee.
Although we are a small restaurant, we have a large menu. Adana Kebab is our signature dish. We make kebabs, home style food, fish, many hot and cold appetizers, desserts. Our homemade baklava and Turkish coffee or tea, will be a good combination to finish your meal. We guarantee you an amazing dining experience. We hope to see and welcome you to our restaurant soon.
Wonderful food (fresh, flavorful and light) although we often feel rushed. It continues being our favorite restaurant in the Caldwells.
ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS great tasting food and SERVICE!!!
I like the food a lot. The prices are moderate. The service is good. We have been there a number of times and will go back.
Wonderful! A real local treat!! Love the homemade stuffed grape leaves.Always enjoy the chicken kabobs... with freshly grilled vegetables and rice. My husband enjoyed the fresh seafood salad. Greeted with a friendly smile when we arrived... as usual. Excellent service!!
Excellent food and service as always.
We eat here periodically and always enjoy the meal.
Same experience this time.
Worth a visit.
Absolutely DELICIOUS tasting food and GREAT service. Will return real soon!
Always consistently great food- a good variety. Many dishes for vegetarians and meat lovers as well.
The food was very good and my wife who is Turkish said it was very good!
A great adaptive reuse of a bank building into a Turkish restaurant! The food was true to form Turkish from salads to mezze to kebabs. A hidden gem in West Caldwell, NJ. The service was great and the owner ensured that we were pleased with our meal.
Always love Cinar. The food is delicious and fresh ....excellent value ....especially for the lunch specials. Excellent service... pleasant staff overall.
Great food! Great service. Not the same old same old
The food consistently anazing. Especially love the Turkish dumplings...
Fabulous food! Great value, and the staff couldn’t be better. There are many Mediterranean food restaurants to choose from, but Cinar is extraordinary. Worth going out of your way for.
A wonderful meal, filled with lamb, lamb and more delicious lamb. I look forward with anticipation to my next visit. Will try more of their excellent desserts as well. Highly recommend.
Great food and waitstaff. Extremely accommodating as usual!
One of our favorite local restaurants. Food is different, presented beautifully, and staff is very pleasant.
Every time I’ve visited Cinar I walk away happy.
The food is delicious, the ambiance is really cool and the service has always been very good. I sometimes feel as if I am in a restaurant in a beautiful part of Turkey!
The selection of appetizers, and foods is plentiful and the prices are reasonable. The chef is creative and provides a good amount of portions in whatever is served. I think you will enjoy a lunch or dinner there. Either with some foods that are very familiar or somewhat different, you reLly can’t go wrong. Cinar is a wonderful restaurant!
The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. We enjoyed our meal. I would recommend this place.
Authentic And very good quality of traditional Turkish dishes.
The staff was very helpful in explaining their entrees. The decoration was beautiful.
The food above all...was amazing!
We can't wait to go back and try some more new dishes!
We were to be a table of 8 but were only 5 and the staff was extremely accomodating to our downsize and the late arrival. We ordered a few appetizer dips along with the Cinar Borek (the tomato marmalade is TO DIE FOR), along with lamb meatball and lamb with eggplant puree (also a AMAZING dish). Service was fast and with a smile, the water glasses were always full, and there was never a 'push' to turn our table as we sat for almost two hours over dinner and conversation. The Turkish coffee and Turkish Delight are a perfect way to end a meal. Plenty of parking (we arrived via motorcycle) and the atmosphere is most pleasant. Have been to their restaurant in Cliffside Park many times and was glad to find that the one in West Caldwell (closer to home) is of equal quality.
Food is always great...different dishes than elsewhere but always has approachable items for anyone. Service has been more attentive in the past but still good. One of my go to local places.
I've been to Cinar several times and always have a great meal. Took new people and everyone enjoyed the meal. The Cigar Borek and Zucchini Pancakes were both delicious. The lamb meatballs kabab were good but a little well done. The lamb Adana kebab, yogurt lamb meatballs, and yogurt lamb Adana were all great.
The restaurant tends to be a little noisy, some what difficult for people with hearing issues.
We love this place! The food is excellent, and the service is friendly and efficient. Soft Turkish music played in the background—this really added to the ambience. We will return!
Food is always fresh and beautifully prepared. Babaganoush is the best we've ever had!
Delicious, DELICIOUS tasting food! My favorite restaurant in West Caldwell, NJ.
Always, and I mean ALWAYS great-tasting food and great service!!!
Lovely food, beautifully prepared. I would give five stars if Turkish music was playing. I’ve dined here many times and will be returning.
Food is always super fresh and delicious; wait staff courteous and prompt
Always, ALWAYS delicious tasting food and very good service.
Thank you Adjuk for your service.
Every morsel of food was excellent. The service was very good.
Celebratory dinner at Cinar. The ambiance, attention, presentation was welcoming and fun, the portions were perfect, the food was delicious, the staff was professional and kind. We were 10 people that were there and everything was timely and enjoyable. It was immeasurable and the price was on target. 10 people that go out and a few foodies among us and everyone enjoyed it immensely. Thank you, Cinar.
Delicious, fresh food. Reasonable prices. Great menu! Be sure to have a reservation.
Date was my husband 22 1/2 yrs. Our second time there, food amazing, staff very friendly. Reservations preferred and honored in timely fashion. Noise level little loud but fine for us, there were a lot if people enjoying the food and ambiance like we were. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Very crowded on a Saturday night so I would suggest reservations. The food was really good!
Food was cold and way over cooked. Not enough servers either. Too bad.
Higllhly recommend red lentil soup. The rest of the food was good. Prtions are not oversized, and the food was flavorful. We tried the lamb special.
Food is always fresh. Try the lebni, our favorite appetizer!
Cinar is one of my favorite place to go. I always get a great meal and everyone I have taken there loves it too. It is a little on the expensive side, but a great treat, fun meal.
