All the quality of the old Ciao Cielo, great food and service now in a spectacularly renovated historical court house. Now clearly the best dining Xperience in Port Melbourne

I booked a table for 11 people, we are all local mums and everyone was very impressed. We had a long table down the middle of the room with one end close to the fire which made it a perfect temperature.
Food was delicious. I shared the T-Bone with 3 others and we had 4 sides, Blue Cheese Cauliflower, Broccolini, Fries and Roast Potatoes. All good size to share and none was leftover. If you were hungry I would suggest sharing the T-Bone with 2 people but it was enough for us with the extra sides. Most had dessert and all loved what they ordered. I had the Bomb Alaska which was yum. We were well looked after even though the restaurant was packed. We had a great night, thank you!

Food is good as usual seems to be teething problems with new facility and new staff.

Raw Tuna dish was a letdown as there was a tendon/filament running through it and this would never be served at a sushi restaurant , sad since the price is 5 times what you would pay for this.

It was the usual delicious and perfect food that Ciao Ceilo serves but this time in a new fantastic venue. Ciao Celo has found its perfect "home" and my friends and I will certainly be returning. Well done to the Kate, Brian, Christopher and the team. I'm looking forward to lunch in the courtyard as well. Gai

I’ve eaten at Ciao Cielo several - or maybe even many- times and it has never failed in any way. The food is wonderful - always perfectly prepared and interesting. In December a visiting friend took me there and we ate ox cheek, which was delicious and a first for both of us. It alway gave me an opportunity to move away from the chili crab pasta which I seem to have most times I’m there. The service is also excellent. The wines are interesting and not overpriced, the deserts are sinful - really what more could you ask. Certainly by far the best restaurant in Port Melbourne.

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with our first visit to Ciao Cielo. The welcome was warm, the food delicious and the ambience relaxed. It was also lovely to have my birthday acknowledged by Staff and patrons alike, made for a very enjoyable lunch. We’ve already booked our next visit!

With owners as chef and front-of-house you can see the pride in ownership and attention to customer. A smallish menu but with each offering being appealing. The atmosphere is great - a background hum but not so much you can't have a conversation.

The food was innovative yet still comfortable. I mention particularly a BBQ watermelon dish with mozzarella, olives and prosciutto - intended as an entree (which I had as a dessert). One of the best dishes I've had anywhere in recent memory. Alas, it's only a special, but I hope it comes back. The service was very good, if a little rushed when the place started filling up. It's clear there are several regulars to this place, which is a great sign. I will definitely be back.

The ambient was great, a warm welcome from the hostess and great atmosphere. We booked the same day and was nice to know that they were waiting for us. The tables in general are bit closer one each other, so was bit hard to have some privacy. Then the service started. Beautiful wine list and drinks. We got bread with butter with a touch of black salt I think it was.
Then we ordered our entrees. Scallops for my wife and calamari for me. Scallops were perfectly cooked, just they way it was presented make me feel that something was missing. I'd rather called an expensive appetiser instead an entrée. But full of flavour. My entrée was enough, the rockets next to the calamari had this nice dressing, sweet enough for not still the taste of the rocket.
Main were absolutely amazing, nice balance on flavour and quantity and quality.
The dessert was a surprise for my wife ask at last minute and the restaurant were beyond my expectations. Nice details and nice presentation of the dish.
Very recommended for a nice dinner with someone to celebrate an special occasion.
