Chocolate Buddha's menu varies from traditional Japanese menus to incorporate the use of local and international produce. A great selection of Wines, Sake, Beers and Spirits will refresh and compliment your dining experience.

The Melbourne restaurant has a unique interior design with Buddha’s adorning the restaurant provides an inviting atmosphere.

Chocolate Buddha is named after one of our Buddha’s at home. It is dark chocolate in colour and had a particularly sweet face and smile.

We welcome you, and sincerely hope to provide you with an uplifting dining experience.

The service was prompt and friendly. The main course was average (the flavor could have been less bland), and the dessert was delicious. Since no loud events were going on in Fed Square, sitting outside was really nice with the beautiful weather.

Food came out fast especially for how busy it was, we were outside at the end of the table and had staff checking on us, making sure everything was okay. Food was delicious!

We were sat next to some really loud women and could barely hear one another talk. Other than that as good as any other time I have been there.

Food wasn't bad, but I've had far better at a Sushi Train at a fraction of this price. I would expect more from a dedicated restaurant. Gluten-free menu and awareness was a positive.

The staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Menu with lots to choose from which we enjoyed. We ordered two diffeeent types of Ramen and we were all pretty disappointed. We probably should have ordered sushi or just anything else. Will probably go back to try other things from the menu but the Ramen was a pass unfortunately.

The food is delicious, the restaurant is very comfortable and the service is good. However the meals don't come out together. So other people are waiting for theirs for a long time before everyone can star eating.

Had the best outdoor table with uninterrupted views of the Australian men's tennis final. The service and food were outstanding. Ordered too much food but managed to do it justice.

Gluten free heaven! We had a visiting friend who is celiac, and Chocolate Buddha was absolutely perfect. Our friend was so excited when she saw the size of the gluten free menu - an entire A4 page. They also have a “regular” menu that has a few extra items which do contain gluten. The Chocolate Buddha has a separate kitchen and food prep area to ensure no cross contamination during cooking and preparation. My brown rice bibimbap was perfect, and the noodle dumplings excellent.
We all absolutely loved our meal, and the location overlooking Federation Square was lovely - It’s definitely worth asking for an outdoor table on a beautiful summers evening.
Service was super friendly and efficient - the staff know their menu inside out. We will definitely go back again.

Another very good meal at Chocolate Buddha. We were there after the tennis
and thus the restaurant was humming.
We chose 6 different smaller dishes. The best of these were the Korean Fried Chicken,
the Tempura Mushroom, Beef Tataki and the Buddha Dumplings. Slightly disappointing were the Salmon and Kingfish Maki Rolls. The service was personable.
Our only complaint was the food was delivered in a rush.
Everything came within less than 20 mins, too quick!
Possibly after a faster than usual turnaround as there were so many diners looking for a meal..

Chocolate Buddah is amazing, I suffer from Ceoliac Disease and this restaurant really understands the Gluten Free aspect and does not skimp on the quality of the food.
The service was great, knowledgeable and very friendly. Totally recommend this restaurant not only to my fellow CD sufferers but to everyone.

We love Chocolate Buddha - with a family group of between 9 and 13 with a range of food preferences Chocolate Buddha is perfect. Great for a group and food options from Vegan to Meat lovers. It is not cheap but it is worth it.

A great evening once again. Our children (8 and 11) love eating at the Chocolate Buddha. The staff are so efficient, friendly and accommodating. They engage in conversation with our children and have accommodated to the every request/suggestion of our children. We love coming here for dinner although it doesn't happen often as a family as it is quite pricey.

Chocolade dessert was not so good
