About
Beautiful place, lovely food and wine. Great place for a celebration
Went for a winetasting dinner and they catered extremely well for the group of 50, with food excellently matched to the wines.
Great ambiance & equally wonderful wholesome food!
A little over rated- food good to very good - not exceptional nor innovative.
Love coming here, the food is consistently good and always look forward to coming back
Absolutely loved our lunch here. Beautiful surroundings and wonderful food. The service is perfect - all staff are very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.
Great food and outstanding service in a lovely environment
We enjoyed the Gin on the lawn event from 5.30 and had a 7.30 dinner booking. We did wait for a little longer than normal to served once seated, and even then the drinks took quite a while so not sure what happened there given it was sparkling water and a bottle of wine?
However, the service was very friendly and the food was exceptional as were both the food and drinks menus.
Overall still an outstanding experience.
Great food great staff fantastic location and setting. A classic tale of “You get what you pay for”.
Great Farm to Table (and almost literally, garden is outside resto, with menu showing which part of garden veggies come from). We had a really nice anniversary (for myself and my wife) dinner here. All lovely. The lamb should and steak and duck and veggies and ... and were all excellent. Really nice place. Highly recommended.
It was a nice way to end 2018
Great location with Beautiful Garden outside and nicely decorated and lit. Food is of excellent quality, mostly locally sourced and carefully presented. Service is attentive. Ambient noise is a bit excessive making a conversation sometimes difficult.
Went with my family on Christmas Eve. Lamb shoulder paired with Shiraz is something I will never forget. Spectacular food, setting and service.
Best Christmas Eve dinner ever!! Cheers from California family!!
Quality of food remains high with us eating nothing too adventurous - staying with the lamb shoulder and the chicken. Both superb. Wine list seems to have changed a bit and did not really recognize anything - but that an observation not a criticism
Best meal I’ve ever eaten. The Lamb shoulder was divine and the vegetables in all the dishes really did taste as if they were fresh picked from the garden that day.
I dine at Chiswick irregularly enough that I would expect not to be remembered by the staff. It's lovely to return, be greeted by the staff as one of their long lost, then have the person serving at my table telling me how lovely it was to see us back again.
The food is just great. The roast lamb is meant to be shared and it makes for a fantastic meal.
Loved every aspect of our lunch at Chiswick from booking to bill and everything in between we couldn’t fault it. The food was perfectly cooked and presented and the produce from the garden was outstanding. Great wine suggestion from the sommelier was the icing on the cake. Giving our children gift vouchers for Xmas and we’ll definitely be back.
It’s too bad that you only propose 1 French Champagne in the menu which is Ruinart and is a quite expensive one. Another option would be appreciated
It was my husbands birthday Chiswick never disappoints love it there especially their Barra in a bag. They even lit a candle . Love Chiswick
Food was amazing, delicious! The service perfect! The waitress was so good explaining the wines and the menu, I felt full only listening to her 😊
One thing I didn’t like, the restaurant was too noisy.
Awesome Food and nice atmosphere, highly recommend
The atmosphere and service was definitely above and beyond. The atmosphere was great for the event that I attended. The food was delicately created for Spring, and all flavors paired well altogether. Definitely not one to be missed
Came here for my 30th birthday with my parents and partner. Service was excellent, food never disappoints and staff went above and beyond to make sure every need catered for. They even gave my folks a tour around the herb garden which they loved. Very impressed - most definitely will be back and goes without saying if you’re heading there - get the lamb!!
Had fantastic time 2 years ago at Chiswick's, so was 100% going to come back when we visited Sydney again. The food was good although, the menu changes. The service was just not up to par. Our waitress, while pleasant, was difficult to understand. Also, she removed drink menus before our last member of party arrived. Lastly, there were gaps in service between courses that were just too long.
Amazing experience! 5 stars all around
It’s not as good as it used to be. The Chiswick experience was ok but noisy and the service was slow and unfriendly. The menu wasn’t marked gluten free, even though I asked for gluten free was served normal bread. On the plus side good cocktails and the miso aubergine dish was delicious. Probably won’t head back there.
Chiswick is a Sydney gem. Food amazing, in a setting that matches it perfectly,
Amazing venue, staff and food. Superb experience, exceeded all expectations. Bravo!!!
Beautiful setting, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service, and great food. Definitely recommended
Loved lunch here. It is pretty noisy, the sound really echoes.
Definitely would go back
This restaurant was a lovely place to go on for a date. The food was of a high quality and the service was excellent. This is a great mid week restaurant to visit for a relaxing but special dinner
I love this place . We were there for my mother’s 80th birthday . Everyone came up to her to wish her happy birthday . Good was excellent
Lovely setting and great service. Lamb was a little dry. Maybe due to our dinner booking being later in the evening.
Excellent restaurant. Wonderful setting, delicious food and wine and great service.
Excellent dining experience, our group of 8 was looked after very well. The sharing plate menu was good for variety, and the lamb was cooked beautifully.
Lamb was perfect! The servers were as lovely as always
Great meal
An amazing restaurant, not pretentious. Great seasonal menu, signature lamb was heaven and the baked pumpkin outstanding. Kid friendly and a warm atmosphere.
Amazing customer service. We had someone in our party who was quite hard to feed (GF, Lactose, FODMAP) and the restaurant and waiter was extremely accommodating.
Watch the Anthony Bourdaine episode in Sydney. This place is exactly as described. A phenomenal gem. I can’t wait to go back.
