Pequeño lugar con increible comida. Todo todo fue delicioso
Well. It was just okay. Not exceptional. Nothing special. Abit pricy
Excellent service and menu
It was the first time to dine at your place for me and the guest from Japan. We both liked it,
and will come backd. Thank you.
Had a great Birthday Dinner at this Georgetown spot. Steak Frites and Mussels were Excellent. Great bottle of wine for a reasonable price. Noise level was low - could have a conversation. Really nice smaller bistro with great food.
Superb restaurant for unique French bistro style food. Highly recommend the duck. Nice wine list. Good bubbly choice by the glass! We will return!
We loved this place. Everything was perfect; the service, the cocktails, the wine, the food.
Two of us went for Sunday brunch. Waitstaff and management were excellent in terms of knowledge of menu, courtesy, and professionalism. The food, tuna Nicoise style, was excellent. Herb-crusted tuna was seared to just the right degree. Fingerling potatoes, green beans, anchovies, and more accompanied the tuna. For dessert my friend had the pistachio ice cream, and I had the rice pudding. Both desserts are also to be recommended.
Chez Billy Sud evokes an elegant Parisian bistro. It is a spot one could happily spend many hours over drinks and a leisurely meal with friends. Service is outstanding. Food is good.
Wonderful, relaxed Sunday brunch for a birthday. Great place to sit around and catch up. Service was excellent!
Celebrated my wife’s birthday here last night. It’s not the sort of neighborhood we are comfortable in—too snooty DC. But the reviews were good and I wanted something special. The quality of food and service was excellent. Had the mussels and the duck leg, along with the blue fish appetizer. Delicious. They thoughtfully brought us both a little glass of champagne to welcome us and acknowledge the birthday. Just a lovely touch by the waitress. The dinner was leisurely and romantic, and we are glad we ventured down into Georgetown for it.
This restaurant was phenomenal. The service was great and the food was delicious. I got the salmon and my boyfriend got the ricotta gnocchi. We split our plates and both dishes were to die for. Will definitely be back here.
Disappointing - The duck entree was very salty, the onion soup had way too much cheese (never thought we'd say that as we love cheese but it was a big sticky glop), and the staff was lacking finessse. Hopefully they will improve as it is a nice location.
Wonderful setting. Very good food. Excellent service.
Simply the basics served at their best.
My husband’s beef was fine, but my trout was over cooked and it’s accompanying vegetables were hard as rocks.
As always a delicious and pleasant dining experience. I had Joue De Boeuf (Bourguignon) and it was absolutely scrumptious especially as it was prepared with smoked pork belly, that I understand they smoke on site.
The chocolate Nutella dessert was especially tasty. Will return again when I’m in town from the West Coast.
Another lovely evening. Friendly but not intrusive service. Quiet ambiance. Outstanding food presentation. Trout is a favorite and duck leg confit is also very good. Pretty bouquet of spring flowers in the front window. It was a relaxed and well paced meal. Only complaint at all is we do wish they would serve espresso. It's a nice finish to such a fine meal.
We visited Chez Billy for the first time in early March 2018 with friends who wanted to introduce us to their favorite restaurant. We were not disappointed. The handcrafted cocktails at the wine bar next door were excellent, and a great way to start things off. We moved to the restaurant at our assigned time and were immediately taken to our table. Our server - Agi - was fabulous. Funny, generous, thoughtful with her recommendations - a credit to the establishment. We enjoyed the special (rockfish with a squid ink, cannelini and other yumminess base); the trout, and the duck breast). An array of desserts - the multi-layered crepe cake, the rice pudding, cotta pana - was divine. We kept saying we were too full yet managed to eat almost every bite. We will be back!
We love Chez Billy!!! For dinner - for lunch - for Sunday Brunch. Just about our favorite restaurant in DC!
Chez Billy Sud is a terrific restaurant, easily one of the best in the Washington, D.C. area. The menu is attractive (without being excessive); the food is always nicely prepared; and the service is outstanding. The atmosphere is cozy and embracing. You always leave feeling good because of the very fine food, setting, and service.
Fantastic as usual. This restaurant serves perfectly executed French cuisine. The interior space really sets the mood for a perfect dining experience. One of my favorite Georgetown (and DC) restaurants.
This was our first visit to Chez Billy Sud, but it will not be our last. Took friends to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and we were all quite impresses with food and service. Considering the quality and quantity of foor, the prices were very reasonable.
food was good but expensive and portions small; haughty service
Excellent meal and dining experience.
The food and service was excellent. I loved the butternut squash soup and the ricotta gnocchi .
Lovely Restaurant for both every day dining, a special occasion, or bdate night! This classic French restaurant is a true gem!
Great Brunch. Menu offered many options and made it hard to choose. Must try the French onion soup.
The food is perfectly French and delicious. We dined here twice the week we visited DC and both times we were impressed by the service and the food. Highly recommend.
We dined here on Valentine's night and because we were late in making our reservation, we were stuck with a 5:30 reservation time. Nonetheless, the restaurant was gracious and at no point did we feel rushed with our meal. I am not crazy about the house pate, but my husband's caesar salad was excellent. Also, the restaurant had prepared a set number of lobster thermidor dishes and we indulged. SO delicious. A perfect treat for Valentine's Day. Service was friendlier than I recalled. It was a nice change.
This place does not disappoint. Every dish is spectacular — from the butternut squash soup to the mussels to the duck breast. The food makes it one of the best places to eat in D.C.; the atmosphere just makes it that much better.
Amazing meal, again! Consistently good.
I have enjoyed the omelette here on previous visits, but this time it was warm not hot, and the service a bit uneven. However, I would go back as previous experiences have been very good. We were celebrating a birthday and enjoyed the complementary sparkling wine .
This is a very delightful restaurant, in fact one of my favorite anywhere. The setting is delightful and the salads, fish and mixed drinks were completely satisfying. I will gladly return, and often.
We loved this intimate restaurant in an old house in Georgetown. Great food.
How a pleasure to have Chez Billy in our neighborhood. Charming atmosphere with attentive but discrete service, and classic French cuisine. Hope to be there often.
Wonderful staff. Well prepared food. Great ambiance.
Cute restaurant with a good romantic ambiance. My date and I really enjoyed the excellent food and service!
Chose this as a birthday dinner place and was not disappointed. The restaurant was very cute inside. It was small so reservations are highly recommended on a busy night. We were out at a table that was very very close to others, but it seemed like others in the restaurant didn’t have that problem. The server made excellent non biased recommendations based on our preferences. Water glass was never empty. They took our coats upon arriving which was a nice touch. Will definitely recommendation and would absolutely visit again.
Excellent service and food. Kate, the manager, went out of her way to personally see to it that our theatre tickets were printed on her computer, saving our evening out!
Will definitely go there again
