Enjoyed the rooftop prior to dinner. A lovely rvening
Food was awesome. Definitely recommend this place.
I thought it was just fine. Everything was good.
The staff were all lovely, the food was delicious, and the wine list was substantial!
Great waitress , brunch was amazing we had the perfect seat outside on a gorgeous afternoon
Had to send back my food twice. Kaylee, was the waiter. She was amazing.
Chicken was dry but when i asked for more sauce they did bring it out which was appreciated . night environment
The food was amazing! Atmosphere was quite and intimate. Our server was so sweet and made sure we had an awesome experience!
All covid precautions were taken. We felt very safe! Food was delicious
Food was amazing came out very hot. Our waitress was awesome requested Emily for our waitress for our brunch the next day. Would difinetly go back.
Our family of 7 made a visit for brunch From the start of being seated is where it all started. The hostess was terrible, she barely opened her mouth to say “follow me”. After saying “thank you” for seating us numerous times, not once did she say “you’re welcome”. First impressions are everything, right?! She gets a 0. The food was disgusting, chicken not cooked fully, unseasoned, limited menu, shall I go on. The waitress was not interacting at all!
Were seated quickly. Patio was a little hot. Had no silverware, no napkins under drinks, no plates given with breadbasket. Waitress was inattentive. Not what I expected.
Steak was so gross I had to trade meals with my husband; he could only stomach half of it. Cocktails were far too sweet salads were fine, Creme brûlée was the best I’ve ever had.
My partner and I had plans to go to another brunch spot that morning, but the customer service there was so terrible that we decided to leave that restaurant. We decided to try Chez Ami, and were not disappointed. The food, service, ambience, and prices were terrific. We had such a great experience that we decided to try their staycation package!
We were very unhappy with our food! For a 5 star upscale restaurant attached to a gorgeous hotel! The food was not up to par! I even wondered if the chef tasted anything he put out of the kitchen.. Pasta was over done and mushy the Al vodka sauce definitely came out of a can! I had to send it back! My second entree was fillet Mingon it was so dry and over cooked it was like eating dust! My husbands cod smelled fishy it was horrible ,I could smell it from across the table! Unfortunately the appetizer was also appalling with a large hair that was in my Meatball! We were so excited to eat here but unfortunately it was a terrible experience. We figured we would give it another shot for our Brunch and Boy did we make another mistake! Pancakes were over cooked edges and soggy middle and obviously made from frozen batter.. my husband had the veggie burrito filled with frozen broccoli and frozen egg whites! That were still frozen... It was very apparent the cooks and or chef really did not care about their food! Now I may be a food snob but this was just sad. I am so passionate about food and fresh ingredients ....I was totally underwhelmed.
Amazing food!!!!!! Great portion sizes. The wait staff was incredible. Beautiful place to celebrate our anniversary.
Food was decent, but limited due to COVID restrictions. Was extremely disappointed in the value however. We ordered two individual pizzas and three cocktails. The price before tip was approximately $80. Very expensive!
Wonderful experience! Food was delish! The only thing I wish was a shellfish entree option...but It’s a limited menu during this time.
We went for Sunday Brunch & very much enjoyed ourselves. Good food, great service and a lovely atmosphere.
Booked table for dinner, after this restaurant was highly recommended by friends.
Food was indeed delicious: mussels for appetizer and both our steaks were cooked perfectly... coctails, however, were on weaker side. Service, regretfully, fell short. First, our server spilled mussel dish (sauce) all over our table and ruined by BF shirt. Secondly, inside seating area was full of gnats. (I couldnt finish my wine because gnats got into the glass!) Managment keeps the patio terrace open with no screens... You would think the restaurant of this caliber takes all pre-cautions to make dining experience as memorable and and as comfortable as it could be. Having spent nearly $200 on dinner for two - it was neither.
The dinner for 2 package was great! Enough good choices to pick from. The salad and soup were very well done. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the Cod was perfect. The dessert choices were good and just enough and sweet enough to not have a sugar hangover.
Incredible food, steady level of quality at every visit. Their staff are true professionals. This is our #1 go to in Buffalo!
We were there for the Hotel’s Staycation package. Our server was Emily and she was such a pleasure to have. The portions were HUGE! I had the summer salad, Chicken a la Vodka and the creme brûlée. My husband had the Caesar, beef bolognese and chocolate cake. We wound up taking most of the entrees home. If you’ve never dined here before I highly recommend it.
If you have never been, you MUST go. Delightful friendly staff!!! Beautiful surroundings. Outside or dine in. The Sunday breakfast is exceptional. We ended up taking a lot of food home. The bloody mary was delicious and very pretty. My husband loved the different varieties of mimosa's. Not just the traditional. Although it looks very upscale, its still very comfortable. Will definitely visit again.
This was our third time here for dinner and it was another great experience. It was my wife's birthday and she enjoyed every bit of it. Chez Ami has become her new favorite restaurant. We will be back soon!
I love the martinis. I will always go back. The pizza is good
My pasta dish came out with a piece of metal in it- they apologized and brought me w one-I then needed w fork and they presented me with a dirty fork.
Then proceeded to charge me the full bill- no free dessert, no discount not even to remove my glass of wine from the bill.
Needles to say Im not rushing back any time
The main problem I had with our meal is that we were served an expired diet coke bottle (expired a year prior) and we brought it to the attention of our waiter. While he apologized and got us another diet coke, I would assume in an establishment like this, we would no longer be charged for the drink as an obvious courtesy- considered my father had already taken a sip of the diet coke before realizing it tasted bad and looking at the expiration date. I did feel that at the minimum, they could have taken the charge off the bill. The food was good, but the prices are higher than you would expect.
We went for brunch on Father’s Day. I’m extremely disappointed in menu and the meal options. I understand we’re in a pandemic and restaurants are just opening up so I made sure to check online before making the reservation. I saw the “take out” brunch menu, however, it wasn’t made clear that’s also the dine in brunch menu. There was nothing for my children to choose from. There were no pancakes or waffles and they were already “sold out” of bacon by noon. So even the breakfast pizza that was somewhat appealing to my son, lost its appeal without the bacon. Since we were there at lunchtime, I asked about a lunch menu or making at least a burger for the kids and I was told “no”. My daughter ended up ordering a $12 plate of biscuits and jam which were as hard as hockey pucks. Our waitress was not accommodating at all, while the other waitstaff seemed very nice and attentive to their tables. I didn’t want to complain, cause a fuss and upset my husband’s day, so we ordered and ate what we could and fed the kids at home. I spend $80 for a couple of egg sandwiches and hard biscuits. Honestly, Tim Horton’s would have been a better option to grab and have a picnic somewhere.
went for fathers day. looked up the brunch menu on line and decided what to eat prior to getting there. we were seated on the patio which was very nice, the server came and asked what we would like to drink and we both wanted a mimosa. she never asked if we wanted coffee but tried to push a pitcher of mimosas for 2 dollars more. the mimosas came and were not at all cold but warm and not very tasty. we were given a take out menu which was not the menu that i saw on line. i then went for the quiche which came as a whole pie in a tin pie plate with a crust that looked and tasted like the pillsbury crust. the plate was put on the table and i thought the server would at least put a slice on my plate but no go. finally i asked for coffee and she did
bring me a cup. this was a pretty bad experience and i shall not return.
Made reservations for Fathers Day brunch after looking at the menu online. When we arrived for brunch we discovered the menu was very limited and not at all what we were expecting. Honestly we were pretty disappointed.
The absolute worst dining experience EVER. From the service to the horrible drinks and food, at the end of it all, I got the bill for a table of 10 behind me!
You all have a LONG way to go. I will NEVER set foot in that property again.
Fred, we are sorry you didn't enjoy your experience with us we truly apologize. We will work tirelessly on the food and drinks. I am a little confused regarding the table of 10 as our largest table that night was 3 covers.
The food was delicious. Everything is of high quality, and the atmosphere is fantastic. What a treasure this place is!
Limited menu with no apps or bread. Waitress wasn’t extremely knowledgeable on the menu nor engaging. Food was excellent and rest of staff of nice and accommodating. Very nice setting for a date.
Great food , made to perfection. Friendly, accommodating staff .
Everything we tried was delicious!
Our party of 4 all chose different menu items and there were no repeats among us, so we tried a total of 8 menu items. All were beautifully presented and were delicious. My husband was very disappointed that he did not order the “boneless short rib” and is already planning to order that on our next visit, a planned staycation. We had drinks at rooftop bar only and did not order dessert. As for the soups, salads and main dishes, we each enjoyed our choices ( oysters/ salmon/ filet/ short rib/ spring salad and each of the 3 soups offered) very much. We were celebrating a birthday, so our daughter’s entree was free. There is a charge for “bread service”, and we did not order that..... but would have enjoyed it if it was included.
Great food and lots of it. Very filling. The French Onion soup and rolls were a meal itself. I had to take home most of my entree. Service was kind of slow, but that was probably due to taking a long time preparing food. $8 for a bread basket and $10 for all desserts is a bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
Great venue. Waitress was fantastic!
Tried the brunch menu out and had great service and amazing food. Everything looked good that was coming out even with what other people were ordering. We had their steak sandwich and the egg and bacon on a brioche roll and they both were immensely flavorful and both came with tasty potatoes! Cannot wait to come back and try more!
