Chase's La Verne
The steak and food were perfect!
Chase's is a very nice addition to our quaint little town. I must say I am impressed with their consistent ability to make a decent Old Fashioned cocktail ;)
Great overall restaurant
Was not too impressed with the rib eye salad. I think a $90 tomahawk steak is a little pricy for a La Verne causal dining restaurant. Good atmosphere and service was excellent. The food could come up a notch to meet the prices being charged.
The lamb and chicken were outstanding. The pork chop had great flavor but was a little dry. Our server was very attentive but not intrusive. She refilled our water frequently without us asking
The music is too loud, grilled mushroom cheese was very greasy, service was just ok.
The whole night was a mess. We had to wait at the hostess station for quite awhile before even being greeted. I made reservations for the patio and she was taking us to an inside table, we were able to change. They had trouble with the outdoor heaters, but then able to get one on. I received the wrong order and she was very apologetic, but a bummer when everyone else was eating so I took most of mine home. They said they would buy us two desserts, but that took forever. I went to try and find someone so we could get our check because it was a ghost town, we were going to leave the dessert, but then it came. Just really bad service. The manager did come out and apologized and gave us a $50 gift card. Very classy because I don't think I would have gone back. Their excuse for the poor service is they usually aren't crowded on Sundays and especially after Valentines Day. To make matters worse, our guests were my husbands clients from the east coast they were so exhausted having such a long dinner.
February 15 had Angela the aerialist that was here on Valentine's day! She was GREAT! Food was great and original as usual! We love this place!!!!
The food was excellent. The service was great. My last drink was comped because the bartender had forgotten to make it. That's the kind of good, old-fashioned customer service that is hard to find these days.
There was an aerial acrobat performing at there to of each hour which added to the great ambiance
Enjoyed the ambience, food and drinks. The ribeye steak was grilled to perfection as well as the lamb chops. Dinner salads and hot sourdough bread were perfect complements. It was our first visit, and we were pleasantly surprised to see the dancer doing her dance moves on the red fabric hanging from the ceiling!!
Food was delicious, as always! Staff is friendly and attentive. A little pricy, but we enjoy the food and atmosphere!
Fun night. Got to sit upstairs. It was a busy night with NHRA in town. Server was great!!!
Steaks were cold and had no flavor. Server was nice but service was slow. Dinner took over 2 hours. All and all a 2 1/2 dinner. Not all at what one would expect.
Our dish was very good. Surf and Turf
Enjoyed a long girls lunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Two of my friends ordered the crab cake salad, which they highly recommended. Another friend had the Pear and Blue salad and I had the chopped blue salad with chicken, which were delicious and recommendable. Our server was friendly and helpful! The patio dining was lovely.
Always a great time at Chase's! Love the food and terrific service by Melissa!
I’m Beyonce is great the restaurant is super open and spacious the barbecue outside smells good it’s a bit pricey but did you get a good piece of fish which I really like unfortunately my order came out a little cold but, they heated it up right away, and it was delicious. We will be back.
Everything was amazing. They accommodated my huge party for my graduation celebration!!! Our waitress Colleen went above and beyond to ensure our party was doing well and truly made it a memorable night for us!!
Loved the food
Everything was wonderful. Food was great. Atmosphere, service. We had reservations and they took us right in. It is a little pricey for what you get but isn’t most things these day.
First time as well as last time. We booked for a party of 7 and they tried to squeeze us into a table for 6, all adults. Didn't work. The soup was bland. The salad dressing was non existent. The pork skillet flat steak was so hard you couldn't chew it. The monkfish special was about 3 inches in size. Then they brought our dessert, but forgot it was for a birthday. Then I had to go hunt someone down for the check. Very bad service.
Their smoked meats are over smoked and the brisket, which is the most difficult meat to smoke, was dry. We ordered a variety of items, because it was our first time there. Some were very good some were not. The waiter was excellent, but the bus staff was poor.
The food was amazing the portions were perfect. I wish the banana fosters would of been more of a table side show. But over all it was good.
Went there for an early Sunday evening dinner. Menu on Sunday is limited but very good. Wine and beer selection also very good. I had the short rib and husband had the surf and turf. Both were amazing and would order again. The french fries are to die for.
We love it here! Chris’ food is always delicious. Truly one of our favorite restaurants! Looking forward to our next visit!
Lindsey was an outstanding and attentive server. Unfortunately, whether because it was on a Sunday night or at the onset of a new year and just after New Year's, the food quality was not what has, in past visits, been expected or delivered at Chase's. The brisket smoked flatbread appeared to be comprised of the burnt ends of brisket hidden under Havarti. The Susan's Kale salad with steak presented with rather fatty meat and an abundance of vinaigrette. The mac and cheese was, as usual, a go-to standby for those in the party who ordered it. Underwhelming this trip.....
I got exactly what I asked for in my reservation. We wanted to see the football game and I asked to be placed outside and in a location to watch the game. We got it. I like the outside patio area in all seasons though the inside is nice too. I have been at Chase's a few times now and each time the experience is better. The food and service is outstanding though it is a little pricy. Quality costs so one has to contemplate value, and this location provides you with a high value meal, with outstanding service, and a nice place to dine. I also noted that the owner, Susan, goes by and talks to everyone. I didn't really know who she was, but now I do and she along with Chris pay attention to service. There are menu items priced from under $20 and up; there are veggie and meat-eater selections on the menu and everything is excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.
As always, a very enjoyable date night out. Beginning with the stellar service, to the specialty drink of the night, to the main course and the dessert offerings (which we had no room for), everything was just perfect. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sourdough bread was hot out of the oven, we never waited for anything, the servers were on top of it all. We visit as often as we can and will continue to!! Such an amazing addition to our small town!
Our server did not listen to anything when we ordered. We were brought wrong items several times. She described the special Fish meal for the evening and gave the wrong description so my friends meal was odd. We had to ask another server to find ours and a bus boy was more helpful than our server. The fish was very bland, served with plain rice that had slivers of carrot mixed in. The filet had a hodgepodge of vegetables underneath it but was cooked well. I definitely won’t go back due to poor service but the food wasn’t great either.
Great food and service. Owner stop by our table to talk and make sure we were happy.
I always enjoy the Chase’s experience. Good food and great service. Chris and Susan have a done a great job.
I am never disappointed at Chase's. The food is fabulous. The service is outstanding. It is my favorite place for a celebration.
It was a busy night and there was a Christmas party going on on the upper level, which I am sure added to the noise. We started with the bacon wrapped dates, and they were the best we've ever had.
I ordered the Crown Roast Pork with the corn succotash which was no less than fantastic!
My wife had the lemon chicken and it was disappointing. We shared this with our server and I must say they went out of their way to make up for this.
If we had both ordered the Pork the meal would have been nothing short of exceptional.
The Manager, Susan, was exceptionally helpful. We had a lovely Christmas lunch for four of us and would highly recommend the service and the food
Had a nice dinner at Chase's. A little pricey for the area I think. Food was good, service was excellent. An expanded menu with some lower priced options would be smart considering you're right next to ULV.
Our server, Melissa, was great. Had the best Old Fashion I've had in a long time. Food was delicious, rib eye and trout dishes.
Great appetizers, superb steaks cooked to perfection. The porcini mushroom reduction sauce served with the steaks is to die for. If the bottled it, I’d order a case. They used to grill romaine lettuce for a one of a kind salad at their previous location. They would have lots of happy customers should they ever decide to bring it back. Treat yourself to Chase’s tonight. You will be glad you did.
We have been to Chases several times for special occasions. The last couple of times the food hasn’t been up to pare. The Wagyu steak is fantastic but the other meat entrees are over cooked. The prices are more expensive than other comparable restaurants. We love the location and the atmosphere but continue to be disappointed.
Chase's was a pleasant surprise. The Sunday brunch menu had a variety of choices and the food items were well prepared. The deviled eggs are a most. Service was excellent and accommodated everyone's unique requests at our table. Seriously considering Chases's for an upcoming private party.
