1) We ordered Prime Ribs for everybody and told the waitress “medium”... When the meat came out one was well done, the other one was okay and the last one was rare...
We did not have much time so we really did not complain.

2) Waiter spilled a glass of sparkling wine over one of the appetizer we ordered which was replaced with a new one but the glass of sparkling wine was never replaced. Waiter never offer to replace the bubbles...

He did give us one free dessert to celebrate my sister’s birthday.

Other than that our late lunch was just okay...

Place is run down and food was mediocre. My daughter’s prime rib tasted weird so she didn’t end up eating much of it.

This is my second Chart House, first one being in Weehawken, NJ, and it didn’t disappoint.
Apps were spot on, salad bar was okay but could use more choices and the entrees were very good and consistent with the other CH I’ve experienced.

Where this one excelled in with their patio seating. We were there for the 4th and had perfect outdoor seating to watch the Marina fireworks display. Further, the drinks were some of the best I’ve had. LaMont, our server (who also bartends here) nailed both the extra dirty (filthy) martinis and the perfect manhattans without any effort: he totally made the night for us! We will be back,

Wonderful meal! Food was delicious and fresh. Service was amazing. And to top it off I left my sweater and they were kind enough to bring it by my hotel! How is that for customer service! Much appreciated

Specialty cocktails a bit pricey, but fun. Thursday date night offer was excellent. Scallops were big firm and perfectly cooked. Prime Rib was perfect medium. Juicy, tender, tasty.

The Chart House went above and beyond for my son's 27th birthday. They even put his name on the menu. The only glitch was cocktails were delayed due to bartender was slammed. The management comped the drinks. Overall a great experience.

Overall, we were disappointed. We drove 40 miles to dine there, total cost for food and parking for two was about $200, and when we got back home an hour later, we were looking around for snacks because we were still hungry!? Portion sizes were disappointingly small (compared to Chart House Redondo Beach - surprising, given that, in a chain restaurant, we'd expect similar portions in all locations). Service was slow, but we weren't in a hurry. Nice ambiance and view of Marina. For the price, we'd rate the food as just OK - not great value. We would suggest to diners who want the MDR area to try The Warehouse, or drive a few more miles to Chart House in Redondo.

We broke down on our way from LAX and I called to notify them that we would be a hour late. At the 1 hour mark I called again to say it would be another30 min and they said not a problem. We ended up being 1-1/2 hours late and they had us at a table in 5 min. I can’t put into words the respect that I had for the people who took the call and were accommodating. The restaurant is a little dated and tired inside. Drinks were so so... food presentation on the Humus and the Bruschetta was nicely done. Had the Prime Rib end cut and it met my expectations. Would I go back....absolutely. I’ve been going there or to other Chart Houses for over 40 years ( if not it’s real close )

We love going to the Cart House for special occasions and just for dinner. Food is excellent and the bar makes a good drink. Best of all is sitting in "Lena's section". Without a doubt Lena is one of the best servers we have ever had wait on us. It makes our dinner out special. We drive an hour round trip and it definitely worth the time for a great dining experience.

The four of us very much enjoyed our meal at Chart House. Two of us split a steak, which was split nicely by the kitchen. One had prime rib and the other had fish. All found the meal to be well prepared and to our liking. Those who chose the salad bar were impressed by the offerings there. Our server was properly attentive, and we enjoyed the view of the Marina. The pricing was reasonable as well for a restaurant of this type. This was a return visit for several of us, and we would choose the Chart House again when we return to the Marina area.

its way overpriced; maybe they should be like the airlines and have a seat or cover charge for Marina front or outside tables...but the dishes were about $10-$15 too high each for the quality of the food, ambiance, etc.

We went here thinking it was a hug end establishment. However, we couldn’t have been more wrong.

Food:
10oz steak was 45% unrendered squidgy fat, utterly disgusting. The steak was also over cooked, under seasoned and had not been laid to rest (blood ran on to the plate).
The fish was under cooked and under seasoned.

Service:
Rushed, rude and uncomfortable.

I would not return or ever recommend, utterly disappointed.

The restaurant appeared to be understaffed. It wasn’t crowded and yet it was almost one hour from the time we ordered to the time the food was brought to the table. It took a long time to get our drinks as well. Food was good, but the slow service put a damper on our birthday celebration.

Excellent food and service and right in the middle of Marina Del Rey. A row of 3-story condos behind the boats (on the other side of the channel) unfortunately blocks the view, which is still quite romantic.

They were severely under staffed given that this was Mother's Day at dinner time. Our waiter only came to check on us three times. Don't know if it was his attention to detail or the fact that he may have had too many tables, although we didn't see him serving others in our vicinity.

Upon arrival the hostess wasn’t welcoming she appeared like she didn’t want to seat us. But our waitress was superb we received our food and drinks in a timely manner and explained whatever questions we had in regards to our meal. She also looked out for us as some creepy guy started to record us on his phone. OMG! The manager, yes the manager was freaky AMAZING and also very funny he kept us laughing throughout the evening. Even made sure that my cousins and I enjoyed our meal and that we had a great experience. I will most definitely return, this is now our new lunch/dinner spot when my cousins come to town.
