Very good food. Very good service. However it is pricey at around 70 pounds plus per person with only one starter and no alcohol.
Wonderful setting, excellent service, but couldn’t help but feel short changed for our main course; turbot from the trolley. 3 mouthfuls and it was all gone!

It’s a fantastic return visit for me. Immensely enjoyed lunch, even though a full restaurant it’s so nice that can hear conversation and not need to shout! Would definitely recommend for business lunches. Set menu excellent and food as alway - outstanding. We booked a set 3 course menu with a complimentary glass of Champagne for 3 people. When we arrived we were welcomed warmly and led to our table, which was in a perfect setting. The food, wine and service throughout you could not fault. The staff could see we were not in any hurry and therefore did not rush us. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable lunch. My one and only negative comment is we had to ask for our glass of champagne. However the staff were very apologetic and explained there must have been a miscommunication between the booking site and the restaurant. They rectified this immediately and we enjoyed our champagne with our dessert which worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend and return.

Highly recommend. Without doubt one of my favourite spots and tops my list. Love the trolley weekdays & weekend - great to see this feature . There really is nothing on menu I don’t like - the gammon ham on a Saturday was divine and my guests tell me the steak tartare is one of best they have ever had . Today I had delicious cured sea bass with amazing flavour and great presentation
The restaurant is stylish and beautifully designed, the room is airy and bright, tables have space and unusually for restaurants today you can actually have a conversation without shouting all whilst being served by a lovely team
Crab salad beautifully composed, but had little taste. Roast grouse also elegantly presented, but again, lacking in full flavour, and not a patch on Pierre Koffman’s. Finally, discovered afterward that sommelier had charged me for two full glasses of white and red, even though we agreed she would be charging me for two half glasses. Host who started at restaurant on 23rd September had not yet found his feet - but left impression that he might not do, even after a few months.
Great service and food in a pleasant atmosphere. Really couldn’t find a single fault, impeccable in all respects.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was generally of a very high standard on the lunch set menu. In places it seemed to be a little over seasoned but that could just be my palate which has recently acclimated to a low salt diet due to the arrival of a little bubba in the family. Great ambience with a combination of business meetings and ladies who lunch. Very relaxed and friendly vibe. Would certainly go back. Great bar and tea room also attached to the hotel. Lovely place to spend the day with staff who seem to really care and are very family friendly.
This is my favourite restaurant in London. The room is beautiful and tranquil. The food is outstanding, and the service impeccable. I truly cannot recommend it enough ....but don’t tell everyone, it’s a secret ;-)

Went for set menu. Not as described on your website. Horror of horrors! Wedding anniversary lunch and my wife finds a LIVE WRIGGLING WORM in her cod.
Meal and occasion totally ruined!
Received credit for my wife’s first and second course. I was left wondering about the fish I had eaten?
Main course choice was limited to cod or gnocchi. Therefore only one choice for carnivores. This is the 21st century and a supposedly Michelin chef cannot source and serve food properly cleaned and prepared. I have not encountered worms in fish over my 75 years!
The whole meal should have been credited together with a real apology.

Really good food and great service.
As ever an excellent experience. The ambiance is formal but not overly so and the space makes every table really quite private. The food was uniformly good though the portions are modest except that part of my wife’s meat was uncooked. While this was disappointing the response was to prepare her entire meal again, very promptly and at the right standard. This almost made up for the problem. The staff are always courteous and welcoming especially to our young (but well behaved young daughter!) .

We were a party of 6 people attending a lunch. The food and service were top notch and the waiting staff very professional. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we would definitely return to dine on another day.

Booked for Valentine's day and was glad to have picked this restaurant. My Fiance loved the place, food and service. We are Vegetarians (No Egg or Fish) and they were able to accommodate our requirements to ensure our night is not ruined. Definitely worth a visit.
Fixed price lunch on a Monday. Restaurant quiet. Very nice room - comfortable and light even with the amount of old wood panelling. Food was okay but not inspiring. Poached egg starter was a bit of a runny mess in quinoa; seabass and tiramisu dessert were fine. I would return but hope for something more memorable.
Haven't been to Brown's in many years and certainly prior to Beck. The meal from beginning to end - with one exception noted below - was superb. The menu was both creative and tasty and well presented. The wines by the glass were also superb. The exception was the martini - in a city that I believed was known for its martinis this was a grave disappointment - watery and not cold enough is hard to achieve. Will try again but perhaps without the martini

Absolutely amazing food and impeccable service. Pricey, but if you’re looking for an evening of culinary delight and attentive service, then this is the place to be.
The setting is lovely but the noise level was rather high (perhaps because of the wooden floors?). The servers were very pleasant and respectful but obviously very harried. They worked hard and did their best but the restaurant is obviously understaffed. The food is very good but not especially creative. It’s a very good place to go for solid upscale Italian.
The head chef at Beck at Browns previously gained a Michelin star as head chef at Apsleys, and is continuing in the same style here with high class Italian food based on luxury ingredients. I was particularly impressed with the signature fagotelli carbonara and by a stunning winter greens risotto with white truffles. The wood-panelled dining here is attractive and service is slick. Beck at Browns is a class act.
Great ingredients cooked perfectly presented well on the plates served delightfully by knowledgable staff.

Attentive and nice staff. Delicious food ,mmmm the risotto calm and beautiful surroundings. Perfect place for lunch to wind down after shopping.

Outstanding in all respects
What an amazing lunch we had. My client was very happy.. the service was good but slow at times but the food was absolutely delicious. The scallops is highly recommended.

Our first visit to Beck, although we are frequent visitors to the hotel and the Donovan Bar and we were happily surprised with our evening at Beck.
Our starters were fresh and every mouthful was delicious, as were our mains.
Service was excellent.
Loved the Decor, very cool and understated.
We were however sadly dissapointed with our dessert, the Tiramisu was not to our taste and we had to leave after a spoonfuls which was a shame.
We'll certainly return, albeit for a special occasion as it turned out to be an expensive night.

The food and service were exceptional. We have lived in Italy for many years are were delighted to have good Italian food in Central London.
