See availability for 1,000 point tables
Sun - Mon 6:00PM - 9:45PM
Many good qualities spoiled by being told as we walked through the door that we would need to vacate our table by 8pm. Put a dampener on the evening that could have been better handled. Pleasant atmosphere and nice staff. Starters were Luke warm and clearly pre prepared. Main course was lovely.
Loved it. I took two friends there and they thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance. Champor is a real treasure found in the back streets near London Bridge station.
We have booked again and look forward to it.
Very good and reasonably priced restaurant. Authentic and a good ambience.
The food was absolutely amazing! Had a lovely meal here with some friends. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent food and lovely staff...would recommend and will be returning.
Found Champor Champor by chance via Google as I needed somewhere close to London Bridge. Delighted I did as it was a very enjoyable experience - great colourful delicious food and lovely helpful service. There were a mixture of tables there to suit 2/3 or more people and a lovely ambience - surrounded by interesting Asian nick-nacks. More for personal than business I think and would be perfect for an evening dinner too. Lovely - go!
Food was quite expensive for the actual quality, the spiciness level was not described in depth enough (for medium spicy around London, this was spicier than expected).
As we had an anniversary, the staff was super friendly and kind in accommodating the pre-arrangements and the restaurant/table was super cozy.
Overall, good ambient experience but the food is overpriced.
Very good Malay Thai fusion .... starters were excellent...in a funky interior. Very small, hidden gem on side street near the shard. We had the balcony table for two...fun birds eye view of the other diners and street passers by.
Excellent food, staff were great, lovely restaurant - good thing we booked as people kept being turned away! Not that cheap but not crazy expensive either. Really good
Great vegan options, relaxed atmosphere, good good and wine. Came for a business dinner with 4 folk who had never been before and all of them were impressed (and surprised). So thank you!
Booked for a party of 10. Food was fantastic, service was brilliant! Quite quiet, which was fine for having a meal with family.
lovely food and great service. decently priced and the restaurant, although small, is not noisy. this was my second time back and wont be my last
Good, interesting food and excellent, efficient service. Will both return and recommend.
Real good - had the private room. Good food, great service, good fun
The food was amazing as was the Indonesian coffee. The staff were attentive and the service was wonderful. My guest and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will most definitely attend again.
Great food and service. Good location and lively atmosphere.
Lovely ambience and delicious food, we will return 😋
Delicious food. Service was good overal. We were informed we had 2 hours at the table, but we were rushed at the end even though there were no other bookings after ours and there were other tables available.
Service was poor, waiters delivering the wrong food to customers and also kept us waiting exceptionally long. Portion size of the starters were an absolute joke. There was nothing tandoori about the "tandoori prawns."
First visit and the food was absolutely amazing. Portions were a bit on the small side though. It's so great to have this gem on our doorstep.
The service was very good and the ambiance was lovely. The food was good however my fiends chicken was a bit pink. They did change it but I thought maybe they shouldn't have charged her for it giving he pink chicken to begin with. I can't fault the service and the rest of the food was lovely!
Excellent food, great flavours and portion size. I will be coming back for my Xmas dinner with colleagues from work
A friend had recommended this restaurant and I will definitely go back! The service was impeccable and the food was gorgeous! It was a little bit hot inside but that did not affect the whole experience.
Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it!
Very good food and large portions. Small and cosy. Service was a little slow at first but food was worth the wait. Highly recommended.
Food has definite Western twists but items such as coffee braised lamb (on the bone- perfectly tender, falling apart) are worth tasting.
My own personal take is the chilli & garlic paste is NOT spicy so even more moreish with the okra - I think roasted would be better than tempura-style personally - whilst the "Tom Yum" brulée is weird but satisfying (again, more lemongrass please).
It looks great inside with traditional artworks on walls alongside more contemporary ones entering through a curtained door for flourish!
I'm not sure what the raised table is for because being in the front window on display doesn't seem romantic.......fun for others though!
Pleased to see lots of vegan options too...........for other diners or just a bit healthier given meat dominates a varied menu i.e. lots to go back for ;p
Great staff makes the place and they are here; efficient, knowledgeable & friendly.
Very tasty food, I can recommend it. We will come back. Service was excellent, too.
A wonderful evening. Excellent meal
he food was delicious, served hot and yummy. We tried an array of starters as well as mains, and all of them was full of flavours. Staff on the other hand were un attentive despite calling us to confirm the table in the morning highlighting that we only have 2 hours for our table, our main were served somewhat 1 hr 30mins into that 2 hours. On the other hand, they didn't ask us to leave when the 2 hours was up, we ended up staying for 3.5 hours.
The ambience was stylishly decorated, and seats are a little crowded if you need to get up to use the facilities.
Great restaurant really close to London Bridge. Food was delicious, especially the Chicken Thigh Massaman Curry and the chocolate torte. Nice atmosphere and staff very friendly and helpful. Quite expensive but worth it. I will visit again.
Been here a few times and it has always been good. Mian downside is that they limit tables to a 2 hour sitting but that is because it is so popular. Starters were very large. You may want to go straight to mains if you do not eat a lot. It is not cheap but I would say that it is good value. There are plenty of cheaper places but you pay for what you get. I will be back.
A great find. Loved the food and the ambience. Brilliant.
We were lucky to get the table on the mezzanine level which provided a cosy atmosphere for two as there were two large parties dining at the same time. Despite being in a semi private space, the staff were very attentive and the service and timing of he two courses fitted in well for the 2 hour runaround time which was communicated both when we had to reconfirm the booking and when we arrived. Duck roti for starters was a substantial portion to share but we managed it! Similar to an aromatic duck pancake, this was prepared for us with. Light touch of hoisin sauce so the flavour of the meat and vegetables shine through. My usual king prawn in green curry was even more spectacular than usual and the rendang beef was rich and meaty served in a bowl with its own heat source. No room for desserts and overall a wonderful, quirky Thai restaurant which has become my secret London go to venue.
2nd time to Champor Champor and it did not disappoint. We were a party of 6 and 3 of us were vegetarians. We ordered a selection of 6 starters and 6 mains to share. The vegan food was very good quality, lovely fresh & crunchy papaya salad, & super light and crispy okra’s, the goats cheese parcel was basically eating a spring roll but with goats cheese, stick to the traditional vegetable filling.
All the main courses very very good. We had ordered the mushroom with gnocchi, a chicken & vegetarian green curry, lamb & butternut squash dish. Coconut rice was very flavoursome and pad Thai had lovely flavours.
All of us ordered the green tea parfait- highly recommended.
As we were a group of 6 we were fortunate to be seated in the private dining area with a swing.
There is a lovely wine list and very reasonably priced. We had a couple of bottles of the rose and it was the perfect compliment to the spicy food.
We will definitely return again as the food & service was very good.
Tasty food but the curry is served on a flat plate that makes it hard to eat and it is quite overpriced for what you get.
great atmosphere, good food, perfect location! recommended.
The dishes were excellent.
The Massaman curry is just like a high quality restuarant you'd find in Thailand.
Excellent, friendly service and great decor. Would definitely reccomend for couples
A fantastic Thaï fresh food with its unique atmosphere. I enjoyed the food and place to eat.
Not very authentic Thai food. Really odd dishes and a totally unnecessary banana bread served before a very generously portioned meal. I will stick with just regular authentic Thai restaurants next time. I will not be rushing back there any time soon.
