Cha Ching is an Asian fusion concept restaurant where customer enjoys variety of Asian dishes on a table with Asian spiced drinks and cocktail for an affordable per dinner and lunch.
Synonymous with luck in Chinese culture, Cha Ching is a project three years in the making, from Owner & Head Chef Ken Leung.
From working in Hong Kong’s Michelin Star St George Restaurant in 2012 to experience in kitchens across Melbourne’s elite food scene, Ken’s hospitality experience spans over 15 years.
The result? Cha Ching’s menu is an homage to Asian cuisine, emboldened by the multiculturalism of Melbourne.

    We had the feed me menu and added extra starters which was great value! The cocktails were amazing and there’s a happy hour where they cost $13 each. The food was good but some things could have been a bit better, the bao buns could have been steamed a bit longer so they were softer and the truffle fried rice didn’t really taste of truffle and was a smaller portion that we were expecting. Our waitress was Ava and she was lovely! Took her time explaining the menu and was attentive without intruding on our conversation.

    I think the food is good for the price. It’s not exactly Yum Cha to me compared to an actual Chinese Yum Cha restaurant but the price is reasonable. I left the restaurant feeling full after the meal. Pros: Staff were nice and friendly and the food came out quick. Out of all the yum cha dishes I had, I liked the siu mai or chicken/ prawn wontons. The sichuan cumin lamb noodles is quite nice as well. I liked how you guys included the tea with this as part of the menu. Cons: However, I don’t find much soup broth in the xiao long bao as I was expecting more to come out of it. With the har gow dumplings. I feel the texture of the wrapping is not quite right (I don’t know why). For the truffle chicken wontons, I feel they are more on the dry side as it wasn’t juicy for me compared to the prawns & chicken wontons. Overall: Dumplings are reasonably priced for my liking and would come back to try other dishes on the menu (Al là Carte wise)

    I was over from perth for the weekend and went here for pre dinner drinks and a snack. The service was excellence. Cocktails amazing and food was great. 90 min sitting and happy hour 4 to 6 pm. $13 for cocktails great value for an early diner. I was very happy and enjoyed my time here

    The food was great but the service was terrible. None of our sides came out with our mains and two drinks rounds were forgotten about. We waited so long for sides and drinks that we were then kicked off our table for the next diners. Not a good experience. Shame because food is really tasty.

    We visited Cha Ching for an informal business lunch, Google Reviews told us it would be good. Feedback from everyone was it was a great venue, great food and the service matched. Pricing was very reasonable and we all agreed that Cha Ching will be on the hit list in future. 5 stars!

    Experience was let down by poor service. They were slow and forgot one of our dishes and drink orders. They continued to question us when they got one of our orders wrong

    Overall it was a nice experience. Would we go again, probably not. We had to wait some time for our table. Meals were forgot and the last lot of dumplings that came out the meat inside was cold. The staff were friendly and helpful.

    The food is amazing and soooo tasty. The best Asian fusion we have ever tried and among the best restaurants in Melbourne we have tried. The seating area is a bit small and noisy but colourful and vibrant.
