My family and I ate here 2 nights ago. It was my 3rd time and their 1st time. They, like I loved the food and they raved about it for the remainder of our trip. They do need to update the menu as 1 wanted a dish that is no longer served but it was replaced by a 3 cheese ravioli that was excellent. The rest of our order, scallops, black ink pasta, brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. My sister wanted to split a steak and I wish we did. Next time.

Celina was good (I had her before). The place was rather empty (due to recent health concerns) but we had a great time. The bread and spreads were amazing as usual.

Nasty hostess with a terrible attitude. We came 20 minutes early for our reservation for my husband’s birthday inner.
It was very early and the restaurant was empty. This hostess told us she couldn’t seat us till our reservation time.
The restaurant was empty! We had to get a manager who seated us promptly. This left me with a bad taste to start our meal.
Our server was lovely! She tried to take good care of us, but our porterhouse for 2 was overcooked and had to be sent back.
Rest of meal was fine

The food was excellent the only problem was with the Lobster Pasta that my wife ordered. We expected the lobster to be shelled before it came out to the table but lo and behold it wasn't. Now my wife had to crack lobster shells that were covered in a red sauce, not the simplest or cleanest task. Needless to say she would not have order it had that information been printed on the menu.

Portion sizes were very small . I do hear the steaks on the menu are great but if you don’t eat that don’t expect much. My husband got the meat sauce over home made pasta. Flavor was there but not much sauce on the meal .(it was likely tossed in sauce )I had the Caesar salad because I wasn’t to hungry that was good . Oh and the complimentary bread was awful . Thin slice and warmed up . I prefer a nice heart piece of bread to enjoy with my meal. Service was fine . I just didn’t feel it was worth the money. Which I dont mind spending on food that is worth the buck .

The ricotta gnudi was very good. Although the portion is small, it is surprisingly filling. The rib eye steak was a little chewy in spots. The waiter suggested instead of ordering medium rare, medium or medium well would have been less chewy. It's never been a problem in the past. The fingerling potatoes were interesting and tasty but a little too spicy for our liking. The espresso and cappuccino were delicious, as always.

The ambiance at the restaurant is very comfortable with a good mix of light and music. Service was adequate by our waiter who forgot the appetizer order (which a bus person brought).
The food was very good, but unfortunately, neither entree was hot (warm at best) but edible. Wine was a bit over priced but beer was very reasonable. Been there before and will go again.

We sat at the bar instead of a table and the service at the bar was awful!!! The bartender did not check afterwards to see if we needed anything else or to see how our drinks were or to see if we needed more drinks or water. Also the menu is the same food , it never changes. Their is no specials and the prices are high. This is why it would be nice to have specials at a reasonable price! With the rude bartender and the high prices this why restaurant go under or can not make a profit. So would I go back ? I don’t think so for now !

The Veal parm was one of the best I have had.
The spreads that arrive on the table when you sit down are scrumptious.....
I do miss the fusulli with the peas though - that was on the menu when he first opened (bring it back :)

Very disappointed! Went for Valentine’s Day dinner and drove 2 hours to eat here and it was ala Carte. Was never told about the fixed menu and we payed 80$ per person for food we didn’t even like or want. Such a waste of a drive and the 300$ we spent! Worst dinner we’ve ever had.
