A lavish European dining experience, serving some of Melbourne’s finest Italian cuisine. Designed as a sister restaurant to the original Cecconi’s in Flinders Lane, our second venue brings a touch of luxury, refinement and ‘buonissimo’ to Melbourne’s inner-east enclave.

Inspired by its heritage in Italy’s northern regions, and the masters of Italian design, our Toorak venue offers a modern evolution of classic European dining, with a strong Melbourne sensibility. A journey of intimate spaces, luxurious finishes, bespoke detailing and sculptural forms.

Cecconi’s Toorak adds a contemporary touch to Melbourne’s culinary landscape, whilst maintaining the high-end Italian hospitality that has made Cecconi’s a Melbourne dining institution for more than twenty years.

    The restaurant is beautiful it has a lovely ambience food very nice service ok could have been better . The thing that spoiled it for me was there was a service fee because we where 6 people never heard of that and its wrong

    Incredible experience. I would recommend the cacio e pepe, pumpkin croquettes and the chocolate fondant is an absolute must try.

    The food was, by and large, good but the service was appalling. My wife ordered risotto with prawns but was served risotto with mushrooms. While our server eventually returned to explain that the restaurant had run out of prawns. The server should have known that the prawn risotto was not available and told us immediately, certainly it was totally unacceptable to serve a substitute dish without any explanation.The problem was that my course had already been served so it was not practical to order a replacement for the risotto, Additionally wine and water service was unacceptably slow with our glasses often left empty for a long period. Turning to the food itself the moreton bay bugs were excellent as was the semi credo. The pasta with local crayfish was light on for crayfish (the couple dining at a table near us were also critical of this)
