Rude staff ruined the whole night.... booked a table 6 weeks in advance, got there on time and told there is no table as we are early. Argued with me that I was in the wrong even though I showed the confirmation from that morning checking I was coming showing the right time. Then I got an email that exact minute saying my table time had been changed, so I showed the staff and said see you changed the time just now. No apology, or even offer of a drink whilst we have to wait. Then all night shocking service.
amazing food, fantastic value for money but not covid-safe whatsoever, must have been hundreds of people on the road outside packed into a tiny space; no social distancing and no masks. we were in one of the safer seats but wouldn’t be surprised if that gathering was a coronavirus source.
Great food, great experience outside, attentive friendly staff. Good value for money
The best pizza, pasta and wine I’ve had in a long, long time. Excellent and knowledgeable attentive service and the music was great too.
Lovely food and excellent service, worth every penny and I will be back soon!
Great food, service and atmosphere in soho at the moment is super upbeat! Hopefully the streets will remain open for pedestrians only going forward!
Really great food and staff were excellent as always.
So good! Great atmosphere and food! Lovely cocktail and wine list!
Lovely food and service as always. I love the truffle arancini fantastic. I tried the pasta vongole and found it very bland. Otherwise everything was great!
Great place, location and staff. Pizza’s were pretty poor. Vegan one in particular!
Food is good and passable without being exceptional. Quite loud and fun for a group on Saturday night. No complaints, decent casual dining option with mix of pizza, pasta and cicchetti.
Food, drinks, service all great. Only issue was the music inside was a bit too loud for our old decrepit ears! Great atmosphere - but be careful if bringing elders! Highly recommend though!
Great atmosphere and good food. Unfortunately cocktails were on the small side (small glasses with lots of ice) they tasted nice but just seemed like it caters for tourists. Service was lovely and didn’t feel too rushed. Good portions on food
great food, only downer was the beer was a little flat on the first jug ...
overall team were super friendly and good ambience
The cocktails are small, weak and watered down. You can get better pasta at Bella Italia or any other cheap Italian chain. Don’t believe the Instagram posts. Poor. Would not recommend.
Food was awful and small portions. Really crowded and cramped and no social distancing between tables. Avoid!
Always a great time at cecconis
Had to wait for 30minutes for the table, there we’re definitely too many people inside the restaurant with absolutely no respect for social distancing in place.
Great staff, extremely accommodating. Amazing food
Love the pizza here. Such tasty tomato sauce and great dough. The service is the best and friendliest in Soho. I keep coming back.
Booked a table didn’t get one ,didn’t stay to find out anything else
Friendly and attentive staff- amazing pasta and and aperol spritz's!
Food was very salty. Service felt very rushed and we were given the wrong food
Best service in London.
Brilliant outdoor ambience.
The service was a little intense trying to make us spend.
Love this place! Excellent value lunch menu
Excellent and friendly service, food was fantastic and the atmosphere was really great.
We decided to try Cecconi's as we where in Soho and went on a day they had the govt meal deal. My son absolutely loved it! Rated it as the best pizza he's ever had, it was very tasty !! We went at 3 so it was quiet, service was good but I've given 4 stars as their was a change over of waiting staff and it took us some time to get service and pay the bill but over all excellent!!
The food and cocktails were delicious and excellent value. Sadly my friends and I felt unsafe as there was absolutely no regard for social distancing in any way. No trace and track in place that we could see.
Great food, atmosphere and service. Truly recommend it.
The food hasn’t been quite good. The pizzas were dry, almost without mozzarella cheese. The zucchini fritti were with a lot of oil, quite impossible to eat. The burrata was with vinegar! Vinegar? How can be possible? The burrata is a staple of Italian cuisine and it doesn’t deserve vinegar! The pasta with cacio and pepe has been good, creamy as this plate needs to be. The service terrible, the wine came at half dinner and no glasses for the water. I don’t think I’m going to come back.
Felt really safe, food came so quickly and server was so friendly
The pizza was average. The noise was so loud that you had to shout to make a conversation with your friends. A bit understaffed also
Overall, a great experience! Our waitress was incredibly helpful and friendly despite how busy the restaurant was (and the heat) and though she explained she didn't usually work there. Food was great, very quick and interactions with the kitchen team were also positive. Only thing that let it down was the female host and booking system. She was clearly 'frazzled' upon arrival, abrupt and to be frank unhelpful. I found it odd that whilst we booked in advance, called the day before to confirm and explained that we would like to sit outside if possible that, upon arriving, we were told that she 'had a waiting list' for outside and it wouldn't be possible. As someone who previously worked as a manager for Soho House it seemed to me pretty basic practice that you would make note of this customer request and try to fulfill it, she knew all day our party was arriving and could have quite easily planned this into her 'list' which was only 4 tables, sad that she failed to see this as an opportunity to 'go above and beyond' and really make our experience special, sadly letting her whole team down.
We were taken care of extremely carefully & safely by the staff (COVID measures were all in place effectively). It was the perfect venue for a late lunch on a hot day as we were seated by the large open windows. Plus, such good value for the daily menu of £10.50 for a starter, main & coffee! Keep it up!
Very busy but seated and served quickly.
Great food. Ok priced.
Just had to wait abit to pay.
The staff were polite and friendly but unfortunately inattentive and every time that we wanted to order a drink, ask for a a menu etc we had to call a waiter over.
The restaurant was not especially busy, otherwise this would have been understandable.
The starters however, were great. We ordered the courgette fries and the truffle aranchini which were both delicious.
Overall the experience was fine, but nothing to rave about.
The restaurant has an excellent vibe. The pizzas were excellent and the staff friendly. Pretty good value too. Would definitely return.
Amazing food, good value for money and there was still an incredible atmosphere despite social distancing.
