Cebu Bar & Bistro
Terrific food and great service
Service staff and food was amazing. Everyone was so accommodating. There is a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The chef is absolutely amazing. My girlfriend doesn’t like fish but she LOVED the tuna. Highly recommend.
It can really be hit or miss with both the food and service. For instance, we had the Chilean sea bass skewers (with miso glaze and ginger) and they were soaked in soy sauce. The last time we had them they were fantastic and definitely more miso versus soy sauce. Had their special burger, which was good, but it came with regular fries instead of the herbed as promised. Our waiter disappeared for a while this time but last time, service was perfect.
I'd recommend this place to sit at the bar or outside for cocktails and have the cheese plate.
I forgot the dinner menu is really small, brunch is much better. Service was very slow. I’ll definitely wait a while before visiting again.
Cebu has become my second home 🥰 always a delicious meal
They did everything possible to make sure our visit was pleasant.
Amazing Mother’s Day. The only place to celebrate. Our waitress, Crystal , can’t say enough about her. The food was delicious.
Not a bad space at all really enjoyed my time. One thing that was a issue we ordered steak skewers and they came so RARE like still bleeding and we know the restaurant was busy so we didn’t want to complain but they were so rare it was hard to eat. Our food felt a slightly rushed liked not polished and that they just wanted to get it out of the kitchen. I have been here many many times before so I know usually the quality is Much much better
Great food, service was very attentive .. food is top notch
Highly recommend the short rib for main course and the tiramisu for dessert.. overall we had an awesome experience and will definitely be back !
Cebu is wonderful. The service was great. We ordered the salmon, and it was perfection.
The food has always been good at Cebu. But on this night everything was over the top amazing. Maybe it was what I ordered. The service was great also. Only negative was two rooms were closed for private parties on a Tuesday night in April.
Amazing! Ordered from Easter price fix the salmon was ridiculously good. Always accommodating always delicious
12 (very small) oyster for $42 is a little ridiculous. So we would not come back for oysters.
The rest was good.
Summer was a great server. And the new manager was very nice
Great ! Coming back next week .
They shut down fairly early on week nights. You will feel the push to leave if you’re still there after 10PM.
I absolutely love this place. It's one of my favorite local restaurant in the area. The quality of food, service, and detail to attention to their clientele has been and remained the first priority for this gem place. They have a basic menu and they often offer new or seasonal dish creations. It's expensive however, I don't mind to pay the extra buck for quality and tasty food. I ordered the NY Steak Frites, very juicy and balance seasoned (delicious) The only thing that I missed from Cebu is the bread pudding dessert which no longer available and they should bring it back! Definitively check this place out.
The service is superb. At Cebu the entire staff are attentive, generous in kindness and professionalism. I was there to my birthday and the staff was very accommodating. I was offered storage for gifts, specialty drinks not found on the menu and complimentary appetizers. The drink I requested was made to perfection. I’ll be back for many lavender martinis! Thank you. My friends and I had a wonderful time.
The food was very good. The service was good as well. We had a 7:00pm reservation and on Friday that was a perfect time. The restaurant gets crowded around 7:30-8. We will be back.
We go there for Sunday brunch and always reserve table 23 and always get it! The manager always comes to the tables to make sure everything is good. Great food and good people!
Overall our experience was good...until the check came. Although it was probably our responsibility to ask the price of the special we ordered, we neglected to. The surprise of finding out that our burgers were $30 each and the check came to $98 for lunch was a bit distressing. The quality of the beef from Japan was very good but we never would have ordered it at that cost. We thought it would have been nice if the waitress mentioned it when we asked her about the burger and ended up ordering it. We will never forget to ask the price of something again. Otherwise it's a very nice place.
Cebu has been our go -to for years! Whether at a table or at the bar it is always top notch. The food is interesting, unique and delicious The drinks are great and the bartenders are the best in Brooklyn!
The food was fine. Our server however was unfortunately quite rude. He made us feel as if we were an inconvenience to him. It reminded me of why I had not been here in a really long time.
This was my first time and I came with my BFF for brunch. Good thing we made a reservation because people were trying to get in and it was busy. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and large. The food was presented so nice and the flavors were amazing. It was a lovely brunch on a cold and gloomy day. I will absolutely go again.
The staff were so accommodating and we had a lovely meal. I would highly recommend.
The best restaurant in Bay Ridge
Great meal, service, and ambiance. Valet parking very helpful.
I come to Cebu at least once a week. The food, service and ambiance are always incredible. Highly recommend.
The food and service is excellent. The burgers are great. The drinks are consistently good.
We enjoyed our lunch at Cebu. The veggie burgers were delicious and my kale, radish and avocado salad was great as well. The ambience is very pleasant and the servers are responsive and friendly.
Great food, good quality, appetizer took nearly an hour to come out so that is the only complaint
Over priced and below average food. Had Eggs Benedict, burnt bacon, cold eggs, none existing service, had to ask several times to get more coffee. Please bring your own spoon. Sea Bass screwers will really screw with your wallet, this below average dish costs $24. Never going there again.
Tomahawk night is The Best! Great value great meal!
service and atmosphere were exceptional. food was beyond terrible. none of had more than a few bites of our entrees. too much trouble to complain. just will NEVER go back
Night out with the girls. The small dishes were excellent. The mushroom arancini were out of this world. Stick to those dishes and you will be happy.
Originally came here to sample the food as this was to be a choice to host my baby shower and let me say, it did not disappoint. My husband and I booked our date that same day! Food was amazing, service was stellar and Doug, our contact person for the venue, was most helpful. I can't wait to see how my guests will love this place as much as I do!
Cebu has a great, energetic vibe. Great for a group of friends/family gathering. I noticed two other rooms with bars where you can have a pre or after dinner drink or just hang. Bar gets rather crowded, but still makes for a good vibe. We only had appetizers, which we thought were delicious. We had wine and cocktails. I wasn't thrilled with my Cosmo (too pink and sweet). I switched to sauvignon blanc, which was very good. This is NOT the place for a quiet dinner. It's also fun for a date night but if you are looking for a romantic setting, you will need to look elsewhere. I definitely recommend a night out at Cebu. Great for birthdays!
My husband and I went there for Sunday Bruch. The food was excellent, service was great, and they did not rush you out.
I love Cebu! What a great family restaurant or if you just need a cozy place to grab some small plates or a great dinner. The drinks are upscale not not at all pretentious. Food is always delicious and the staff is attentive and on point. Will definitely be back.
Cebu has been a favorite of mine for years. I love to take people hear and show this place off. Loved coming for brunches and outside seating in the summer. Cebu tends to be very pricey and because of this people tend to feel its over rated, well that was proven inaccurate. Yes the cocktail prices are strange and higher than well known Manhattan bars but the deals such as half priced wine night on Tuesdays isn't bad.
Well Cebu made up for all that the other night when Cebu made my dads 60th birthday phenominal. We almost didn't stay because the only thing is they didn't want to sub out the wine for an appetizer which is a bit odd. My father doesn't drink and it was sad that the special excluded non drinkers. They offered to sub it for soda which is silly since soda is 2 bucks and wine is 30. However the rest of the experience was so perfect that that didn't matter. We decided to be team players and glad we stayed as I agreed to take the wine home and enjoy it another time.
Very glad we stayed and experienced this place. From start to finish our waiter was kind considerate and attentive. They made us feel like we were dining as royalty. Dollar oysters fresh and delightful. Cheese plate was gourmet style. Risotto balls and ricotta toast was creamy bites of delight. But all that was only the beginning. This is the second time I had the FOR-2 Tomahawk special and I think this is the best thing thats hit Brooklyn dinner experiences itself. WOW this is so outstanding and impressive and my dad is not easily impressed as he is a chef himself. Classy service and impeccable melt in your mouth flavor enough for even 3 to share. Then the TIRIMISU served with a flaming candle and everyone cheering. There is not A SINGLE DIFFERENT WAY I could imagine having my dads 60th bday that would be better than this perfection . Thank you!
