Everything was great, the front desk greeted us with a big smile, they took us to our table right away, no waiting. Water came right away, our waiter Roan showed up and took our drinks. then he helped us with menu and made some great suggestions. I had the Cayton burger and was served hot and fresh, cooked just like I like it. You have t get the fresh cut fries, they are great. My wife had a salad with chicken, that was very fresh and delicious. There was music out side, the evening was great. A Big Thank You to everyone!

Sat on the patio with lovely views. The service was spot on, very attentive and helpful staff. The food was just ok. I had the Cesar salad and had them put grilled shrimp on it. The salad was very small and really nothing special. The shrimp very overcooked and very salty. My friend ordered their burger. Granted it was ordered medium well, which I would have never done but my friend said it was alright, however, the tater tots were very salty and over fried. The ice tea was good. All this for $75. Cmon people if you’re going charge that much at least make it Great don’t settle for just okay. I will not be back.

Overall a good experience. The sharables were the perfect size — well portioned for the table. The steak was good but could be a bit more generous given the price point. The back ribs were surprisingly large — more of a shareable portion than an individual one. It would be helpful if the menu noted that, or if a half-order option were available. Worth a visit, just go in knowing what to expect with the portions.

We spent a cool desert evening under the stars at Clayton’s. Table with fire pit set next to the golf course greens. Food was great from steak to salmon and even a Kid’s steak version.

Great ambiance on the patio. Strong service. Food is fair-good, but definitely on the high end for price ($28 burger, $32 smoked half chicken). Also, menu could use more/better selections - e.g. would like selection to include more fish & steak. Drinks and deserts were very good.

Was our first visit in three years. Very pleased to report that Cayton's has upped its game from our last experience. The setting has always been first rate, but now they have resorted first rate food and service. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous, romantic date night. The view and atmosphere were perfect. We love the menu and attention to allergies. I am celiac and they are so careful for me. The staff is beyond amazing. We love Cayton's!

Our second time staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain (first time was 2 months ago in February 2026), but first time eating here. We chose Cayton's because CORE was closed on Mondays. We took the shuttle bus down from the hotel (Montiel was our friendly driver) to the golf club; spectacular pink sunset. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. We had Alyssa as our server who was great. The food surpassed all our expectations of a golf club restaurant. . Big portions, so we split them ($2.50 service charge) and portions were still generous. The quality of the food was impressive; every bite of what we ordered was very tasty and satisfying. Loved the Tortilla soups; thick and rich with a kick. Pepita crusted Salmon, medium rare (we were given a choice of medium rare or medium) with accompanying Pumpkin Seed and Crunchy Masa Crust Shrimp, Poblano & Corn “Chowder” Cilantro-Lime Crema was excellent. The Baby Back ribs were excellent: sumptuous, large portion, tender fall off the bone; slaw was great, could have eaten more; French fries were homemade, but soggy and not crispy enough--we did not finish them. All in all, a delightful evening.
