    Lobster bisque is delicious, we had the salmon and blackened neptune and both were excellent! Creme Brulee was very good too! Our server was attentive and wonderful. The margarita special with jalapeno and pineapple was awesome!

    For the price, the steak was disappointing, would've assumed going to Texas roadhouse. Overall experience was good, but if we come back I won't be getting steak. The service was outstanding, and the view/atmosphere very nice. My wife had the lobster and said it was great.

    Need to get the food in line or you will end up closing. Prime Rib was 42 bucks and basically not edible and I am super easy going.

    Making reservations was wonderful. They already had our table ready. We waited about 2 seconds to be seated. Great experience!

    Prime rib was over cooked and very tough and chewy, sea bass was over cooked and burnt, Brussel sprouts where under cooked.

    Filet was very good! Would recommend that and the lobster Mac and cheese. Prime rib was also good but very big and intimidating. We would love to go there again.

    Steaks, king crabs and sides were AMAZING! The crème brûlée was exceptional! Our table was great and an awesome view of the river! Service was impeccable! We love going to Cavanaugh’s !

    Service was excellent. Steaks were great. Don’t get the lobster Mac and cheese. Barely any lobster, not cheesy. A better description would be Lobster Mac and watered down Alfredo. “Mac and cheese” aside everything else was fantastic. I would highly recommend eating there and I will definitely go back.

    We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at Cavanaugh’s. They made it special with a little anniversary sign on the table which spurred casual conversation with our waitress. I had the blackened Neptune which was absolutely delicious! Wine was reasonably priced and you would think that we would have closed the evening after enjoying the crème brûlée, however we enjoyed a drink at the piano bar before departing. It was a wonderful date night!

    My steak was cooked just as I ordered and seasoned well. Everything was good except the lobster macaroni which we sent back. I will return it was worth it.

    Great location. Beautiful river views, and a piano bar on the weekends. The food was good but overpriced. $15 for a slice of carrot cake. Ykes, although it was a big slice not big enough for that price.

    Ambience was very nice, so kind of expected food quality as well. Maybe it was just for me, but the prime rib steak I ordered did not turn out that good. Simply because I had asked for a medium style and when I finally got to try it, it was more well done and even had some burnt parts on top. Additionally, it was mostly fats that got served to me, and I guess I just wasn’t expecting that… and also, it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes for the steak to come since having sat down and ordering. Besides that, our server Andrey had nice customer service and we appreciate that.

    The service is top notch and the atmosphere is very nice. It is on the pricey side, but the portions are very large so we could have shared sides had I known. Overall it was a great time.

    A great location for a special dinner out or even just a even just look for exceptional food. The view down the river served as a nice backdrop to a meal with each dish coming out perfectly prepared and tempting you to want to eat more. Combine this with a great professional wait staff who is attuned to your needs while still ensuring you have private time to enjoy your meal. I would recommend this restaurant unconditionally to diners. It is a more expensive option than others, but it delivers in terms of quality of food and service combined with a great atmosphere and location to return the value on the extra money you are spending.

    This was a wonderful experience for a special occasion. I doubt I'd make this a regular stop, due to the prices. It's like Disney. You pay a lot for it, but you definitely see where your money went. Outstanding service, delicious food, and terrific ambiance made for a lovely evening. I'm very pleased with my visit, and for special occasions, I can't think of a better experience.

    Service was very good with our waitress tending to us promptly. Our steaks were perfect and tasty as were our side dishes. Our cocktails,old fashioned, were as near perfect as one would want. We were very pleased and this was our third visit there.

    This was our third trip to Cavanaughs for anniversary (45 this year). Service is always great and the food was superb. Everyone is so nice and they gave us dessert on the house for our special occasion! We plan to go back next month for my wife's birthday.
