Absolutely incredible food and very knowledgeable service staff
Great venue, the staff really know the menu, they’re are very attentive, good vibe, can’t wait to go back!
Nice meal, lovely eating on the balcony. Steak was to die for. Ideal for foodies
Amazing as always!! Perfect food & great service!!
Great food. Service a bit haphazard but didn't spoil it for us. Been b4 so not a general reflection of the service as prior to this it's been great, so forgivable this time.
Great atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff and fantastic food and cocktails.
Food, service, drinks all amazing. Reasonably priced but good take on traditional cocktails.
The food was disappointing but the service was good
Lovely lunch time meal - tasty food and good wine. Waitress gave tastes of a few wines to enable wine choice which was a fabulous touch. Friendly staff and very helpful
We thought it was a lovely change
The food was good but the service painfully slow and yheee was only 10 covers in the restaurant
It was a Sunday early dinner...we still enjoyed it though and would go back
Excellent night out with good food, good service from Tom and a nice atmosphere. Not to noisy either. We all had steaks and they were excellent.
We had a excellent meal celebrating my sons 16th birthday, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they made a fuss of my son. The food was of an excellent standard and reasonably priced and we had a fantastic evening. I would definitely recommend it.
Fabulous in every way! We went on a Monday evening and it was quiet but the food, drinks and service couldn't not be faulted. Definitely one to return to.
Delicious food and well chilled wine. A table on the balcony gave a perfect opportunity to people watch.
The restaurant itself is very attractive, the staff were attentive, informative, helpful and friendly.
The food was good - starters of squid and Belly Pork Tempura were excellent , burgers ok and rib eye steak very tasty. Wine excellent.
Unfortunately the restaurant was fairly quiet for a Saturday night and the music did not really reflect the Argentinian theme so the atmosphere was lacking.
Great food and friendly staff, would highly recommend
Brilliant food, attentive staff, although no one was around when we first arrived. It seems the main dining area is upstairs, however we didn’t know this until after we’d chosen a seat downstairs. If you go, would definitely advise going upstairs.
Arrived 10 minutes early and seated straight away. Table booked for 7.30pm and half to 2/3 full. Service was quick both to take food and drinks order. I don't have any complaints with regards to the standard of food or service, the issue I have is with the restaurant itself, I felt as though I was sat in a pizza express or other such chain. The tables were clean but dropped food wasn't cleaned up from the floor under tables and seats not wiped either. Was on a date night with the hubby and just put me off a little!
Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and knowledgable waiting staff
Good service good food and good value for money - well worth a visit.
Lovely airy space upstairs in this restaurant. Helpful staff and quite possibly the most delicious steak and genuinely lovely side salad I have had in a very long time. Definitely a good place to have a relaxing girlie lunch whilst shopping or to take your partner to whilst having a day in Leeds.
Lovely steak dinner and red wine - graffiti is delicious!
Fabulous meal and with a voucher really good value
Amazing! Great Birthday meal from start to finish! The staff are great, welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious as always.
I went to CAU for my birthday dinner and had a steak which was amazing, atmosphere there was nice and it wasn’t too noisy. Staff was very nice, helpful, friendly and with smiley faces. So definitely will go back.
If good service is what makes your meal great, this is a must on your restaurants to visit list. Both the waiter and the manager provided a very personal, friendly and professional service. Food recommendation would be to pick the steak sharing platter, it more than feeds 2 adults and would have happily fed another especially with 2-3 sides. It looks like a financial indulgence but once you add up individual dishes each it really is not. The flavours were fantastic. As far as the atmosphere goes that was a little disappointing for an evening time. The acoustics were quite poor as very echoey and felt a little stark. They could do with adding some soundboards and some furnishings to soften the atmosphere. Probably more of a daytime venue than evening romance.
Lovely food and good value we have been here several times and every experience has been good
I brought my family to Cau and we ate from the lunch set menu. Fabulous value and great quality food. I cannot recommend enough.
Two of our steaks were disappointing for price brought most of it home for dog, expensive.
Fab meal, took my partner here for his birthday. Fantastic range of foods on menu and catered well for vegetarians and he loved his steak and sides (mac and cheese is a must and the onion rings were to die for!) Possibly one of the best meals we have had out together in Leeds. I can’t recommend highly enough thanks for a wonderful night
The staff are very helpful we eat at leeds venue at least once a month the bottomless brunch is good value for money
Good food & the waitresses were friendly. The service however was slow & the only disappointment as we were under time pressures. Overall good & would score higher if the service speed was improved.
Celebrated my birthday and everything is perfect! All staffs ,foods and ambiance all excellent!
Fantastic steaks, service and value. The restaurant has a relaxed feel so doesn’t particularly feel like an ‘occasion venue’ but the quality of food from the menu far outweighs that minor negative. Would definitely recommend if your a steak fan and would definitely visit again.
The service was friendly and efficient, although just a little prompt with clearing our plates before everyone had finished. Food was very good with interesting choices and a good selection of gluten-free options. Our only real crib was with the service charge. My husband went to pay the bill and added on about 13.5% as we felt we had had good service. The person taking the money failed to tell him that a 12.5% service charge was already on the bill so we ended up paying twice for service. Yes he maybe should have checked the bill properly but we had a guest with us and he didn't want to scrutinise it. I have since seen that the menu states a 12.5% charge is added but it is in very small writing and we did not see it. We just think it should have been pointed out to make sure we realised (which we actually didn't at the time).
I went for my bday and I had the best steak ever!
Service was a bit slow but the meat was mouthwatering, definitely come back again.
Food was lovely could have done with some sort of garnish. Run out of house wine(£18.95) next price bottle £27 so bit of a leap. Had to wait ages for desserts.
Exceeded expectations. Was lovely from start to finish.
A disappointing first experience at Cau, the service was slow, we were never asked if we wanted more drinks, the food was slow to arrive with no apologies for the delay and the food was very average. The chips were especially poor, not restaurant standard. Very underwhelmed.
We dined here during Eat Leeds week. After some difficulty following the booking requirements I emailed the restaurant and this was resolved quickly. We opted for 3 courses for £15 and a glass of bubbles. The restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere. In general the service was slow and we had to ask for our bubbles despite the waitress saying she would arrange for it to be sent over. When we paid the, I presume, manager took our payment and acknowledged that they’d been very busy due to the Eat Leeds week. He said people were booked in and the restaurant didn’t know h9w many diners they’d have. I find this hard to believe but if it is a glitch in the Eat Leeds process then it clearly needs addressing. Would certainly give CAU another go though.
