   The ambiance and service was top notch. The food was not at all what I expected. My veal dish and my guests fish were not prepared at the standard of a top restaurant. The pasta was excellent but the sauce was like a thick white sauce. Maybe we just ordered the wrong menu items…For the price, certainly a disappointment. Was recommended to me by friends but I can’t recommend.

   Very pleasant meal. Waiter was enthusiastic. My wife’s meal had some filet medallions that were supposed to be medium but were into the well done range. However, the remaining food items were excellent, including the desserts.

   Very good meal. Only suggestion is to lower the sound of the piano. Also a gal at another table was talking on her phone on speaker mode. I really feel like the manager or someone should’ve told her to stop.

   We returned to Catello's again. We love the atmosphere and the food. It is a great spot to meet with friends. The pasta is amazing and it the meat and cheeses have such a high quality! We will definitely return again.

   We were VERY disappointed. I feel bad that I did not talk with a manager after the meal, but we just wanted to leave. The server badly needs some additional training: not pleasant or friendly and not attentive. Never did see her smile. My wife asked for sparkling water with limes - had to ask for the limes 3 times and when she brought them? It was lemons. Not a huge deal, but for a decently expensive restaurant, we expect better service. Even the person assisting the server was poor...when he brought our appetizer he did not make room and put it on the table; he handed it to my son!!! None of us cared for our food, either. Neither of my kids could even eat the ravioli...my son was turned off by the smell immediately. He took one bite and could eat no more. I ate all mine, but it was very average. My wife's entree was average as well. Definitely will not return. I will call the restaurant and talk to a manager however. I own my own business and if I had employees as poor as the ones we saw yesterday, I would want to know.

    Dinner was Exquisite! Our first time dining here, and on Mothers Day, we made a EXCELLENT choice!!! This is the old “Fox & Hound” restaurant, that has been transformed into a Classy, Upscale REAL Italian cuisine dining experience! The decor and ambiance is stunningly beautiful, calming, and very welcoming! I absolutely loved the soothing Music (you can eat, relax and ENJOY your food!); formal “white linen” table service and set up! The Wait Staff was well trained, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and attentive, without being overbearing! FINALLY, a JOY to eat out somewhere in Indy! Because it has truly been a ‘challenge’ to do so, with the lack of “Good Customer Service”, staff shortages and a decline in quality food preparation. They had a well rounded Wine & Cocktail list. We tried their Pino Grigio and a Muscato, and both were delicious! Every Entrée’, from appetizers to dessert, was prepared with great care, seasonings, and presentation. The Chef at Catello’s is the REAL DEAL, and you could Taste it in every bite! Thank You Chef and we cannot wait to come back!! There were so many things I want to try! This was one of our BEST Mothers Day EVER! PS: That Lemon BlackBerry CheeseCake Cake… OMG! That was just beyond Decadently delicious!! Bravo to whomever created THAT Dessert!!

    Large area divided into rooms with curtains on windows to control noise Automated baby Grand provided background music classy. Gelato martini was a treat. Their Gelato is closest to true Italian I've had in the States. Service was attentive and friendly. Pasta was very good

    I made the reservation for Catello’s for my daughter and her prom date because they wanted to try somewhere new. The staff could not have been nicer to them. They had a fabulous time and raved about the food and service afterwards. Thanks to the staff for making a special night even more memorable for 2 awesome high school seniors. .

    Walked in and was amazed on how nice the place is. You can't see it from the road so you have to know where you are going. Great food and service! Highly recommended!

    Catello’s was already providing some of the best food in all of Indianapolis! Now, with Sara and the south Bend Sound, Catello’s ‘s provides some of the best entertainment during the meal!

    According to the waiter, the restaurant considers itself more geared towards seafood.. That's reflected in the menu choices. The chef also has an affinity for Gorgonzola cheese. Myself I'm not a big fan of it nor was my wife so that limited the choices. Overall, the food we had was very good . My one only major complaint is it is that the menu tells you what's to be in the dish, but in the case of my wife, the dish was supposed to have risotto. However, it came out with potatoes. When asked why, we were told the chef did not have risotto. We would have preferred somebody have come back and told us the dish would not be as represented on the menu. Despite these few issues, we would give it another try.

    We were there for Easter Lunch. The cheese and meat charcuterie was fabulous. (Save your bread for the cheese!). The service was a bit too slow in between appetizers and mains for our kids - we were there two hours. WAYToo long for 8, 6 & 2 year olds. At first it was way too quiet so they finally turned on some music. Our waiter was trying so hard to accommodate us and we really appreciated that. We forgot to ask for our pasta to be prepared beyond Al dente. Be sure to ask for that as it’s posted on the menu. We were sad the pizza was not on the menu as that was the kids first choice but settled for the spaghetti and meatballs but didn’t like Al dente consistency in the pasta. We might try again but as adults only next time. Lots of potential here just need to work out the quirks. It’s truly authentic Italian! Cheeses are AMAZING

    The salmon was delicious. The lasagna not so much. It was more like a meat sauce in a bowl. It first came out cold. They were happy to warm it up. By them I was nearly finished. However, we understand this happens sometimes. The music was superb! We will certainly come back.

    The server seemed very inexperienced for this type of restaurant. She brought the wrong wine, and did not present the bottle for approval before opening and pouring it. We ended up drinking it anyway, although it was not a good choice for us. The ribeye was very fatty and chewy. I do love the ambiance of this restaurant. They are trying to be higher end, but they are not there.

    Catellos's has an exceptional menu and the pasta is made in house. The gnocchi were especially good! The wine list is also very good. This was our first time in the restaurant, and we will return soon.

    Underwhelmed after reading rave reviews. We went for lunch and I had soup and salad. They were ok, not bad, not good. The iced tea was undrinkable -- cloudy, thick, and bitter. The waiter said it was fine. My friend had the Capresino panini and said it was ok. The prosciutto had lots of fat on it and she didn't eat it, but said the tomato and mozzarella were good. Bread was delicious. Perhaps the entrees are much better. Service was really slow. Had to ask twice for bill...first time 10 minutes after our plates were cleared and we said we didn't want anything else.

    Friends visiting from Florida gathered together At Catello’s last night…we are all a bit scattered…Irvington, Carmel, and Geist, and wanted a lovely restaurant that was easily accessed for all. Catellos did not disappoint. From our bartender where we met for a before dinner drink, to seating us in a private room so we could laugh and talk easily without disturbing other diners in the main dining room, to our server, Kelly, the evening could not have unfolded any better. And the food! Oh, my goodness, the food! We ordered the meat and 4 cheeses appetizer and the calamari and fish appetizer to share. Sheer heaven! We wanted a red Italian wine that wasn’t too earthy, but there were so many choices, and none of us were very familiar with all the wines available. Kelly suggested the chef himself come out and suggest a wine…he left the kitchen, suggested an amazing wine, and hurried back to create the most amazing dishes. He is polite, caring, and professional. We finished with 3 desserts to share…the gelato, one of the offerings, was phenomenal! Catello’s has always been a go to place, but last night exceeded any and all expectations. Thank you for a wonderful unique experience!

    I took my daughter and her husband for dinner there last night to celebrate their coming home from Florida for the winter. The food was very good and our waitress was very attentive and nice. I will definitely return for dinner soon.

    The food was disappointing. I ordered a dish I had there before and loved. This time the dish was overly seasoned with Gorgonzola and had very little Italian sausage. The waiter was very pleasant but did not have command of English. It was difficult to convey out preferences and two orders were were not what was requested. Finally, two of the bills for the four top were inaccurate.
