The steak was exceptionally good.
The oysters as starters is a must.
The ambience overall was pretty good
Livia was amazing, food was awesome
I was unbelievabley impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and overall great to chat with. It was my partner's birthday and they fulfilled my request of a special night. They went above and beyond to make the night special. The food was to die for. We had the gnocchi for entree and then steak and chicken for mains with a pear salad and chips. They then brought out this wonderful chocolate dessert as a surprise. I will be recommending this place to all my family and friends.
The food was delicious and well presented. But given there was a maximum of 4 tables with customers, the 30 minutes to bring drinks, the 30 minutes to bring dessert menu and drink menu (with only 1 other table at the time) was unacceptable. It was almost like quietness breeds laziness/forgetfulness. Also annoying to have happy hour advertising on tables that is not for the restaurant just the bar but not have said advertising specify this. Also when ordering request the happy hour wine and when paying the bill have to pay full price as not able to have happy hour pricing in restaurant.
Service was very slow — especially our drinks. We had finished our appetizers before we got our drinks. The food was 7/10. They apologized for the late drinks and gave us a free drink and dessert. But overall not impressed.
Absolutely fantastic for dinner was worth every penny our waiter sabastian was one of the best waiter I have ever had he was super friendly looked after so well to make sure we have a fantastic time . Will been dining here a lot more.
Thought we were ordering of menu ended up caught in a buffet Christmas package that was way over priced for the selection and value.
The service was exceptional. The waitress was friendly, helpful and readily available. She shared her recommendations but was not overbearing
The waitress was so helpful and accommodating. She was very patient with my son as he took his time to order his meal and offered suggestions to him. she also told us some historical information around a favourite cocktail beverage
Pedestrian at best. expected much more from a restaurant located in a Hilton Hotel
Staff were exceptional. We came here two nights in a row for dinner, we were greeted very politelyand seated down.
I order scotch filet stake it didn't come with a sauce so the chef wipped out a very tatsy mushroom sauce at no extra cost which was extremely generous. Lovely staff and delicious food! It will be a hot spot for us next time we visit the gold coast
Staff were very attentive yet unintrusive. Food was great and will definitely come back to eat on my next visit!
Staff were very welcoming & helpful table service 10/10 made our special occasion even more special. Food fresh & delicious. Open kitchen for the chefs you can see them cooking so you know it is fresh when served. Will definitely be back
It was not special, it was a bit of a disappointment
The meal was excellent and the service was prompt and friendly. The only thing was that the food was served on cold plates meaning that the food went cold very quickly.
The food was lovely but lacked prompt service. Ended up having to go to the bar outside to get our second round of drinks.
The drink at the candle lit bar was lovely and falsely led us to expect great things to come.
Unfortunately, staff really need training for a 5 star venue. Passing a glass of wine across the front of the other diner, not knowing catch of the day, forgetting the red wine and water ordered.etc etc
Entrees were very dissappointing We both had lamb which had good flavours but my partners had not been seared so a huge lump of white fat resulted..Ambience would improve with tablecloths in evening.
Great food and great service
Quite disappointed with the food and wine offerings. The seafood platter was not impressive, especially considering the price. The wine list is terrible. This is our first visit to this restaurant since it replaced Salt Grill at the Hilton and we will not be back.
Great device from Shawn. Terrible wine list. Average food, will be a while before we venture there again.
Now running under a new name (used to be Salt Grill).
We could not explain why the place was almost empty on a Sat night during peak season, but eventually found out.
Service was average, as was food. Small portions, too.
We were asked if we would like some water while selecting from the menu and the waiter brought two bottles of still water, for which we were then charged 24 dollars.
We'll never even think about going back.
