With its signature open kitchen, set against breathtaking views of Downtown LA & the Hollywood Hills, the 340 seat rooftop haven invites the outside in as it blends great seafood with sushi, Asian influences & a streaming, shareable style of service.
With a focus on the food, CATCH LA keeps it fresh, incorporating local and sustainable ingredients wherever possible as it cultivates a menu mix of CATCH classics like Truffle Sashimi, Wagyu on a Rock and Cantonese Lobster, along with inspired renditions of Vegan and Gluten Free options.
Great ambiance and view. Love the interior as well. I just wasn't blown away by the food
Amazing ambiance, food, service and general LA people watching !! We loved it and food was so creative and amazing. Highly recommended for a fun Sunday brunch!
We had a 7:30pm reservation but didn’t get seated until close to 8pm. Would’ve been nice if someone came to inform us.
Very loud so hard to hear people on your party talking.
Do not waste your time. This place sucks. terrible service, crappy food, SO overpriced. We left mid-way through to go eat across the street, and there were two other couples who had left catch as well!
As always we had a great time at the catch. Our waiter Michael was outstanding and made always sure we had everything we need.
We had to wait 1 hour to be seated even with our reservation
We visit catch on a regular basis, food quality and service is excellent, only ever complaint is wait time for a table when having a reservation.....Wait time for table this visit was better than usual
Everything was excellent except for the fact that 4 of our 7 dishes came out in the first 10 minutes. It felt like they were rushing to turn the table. We had to request that they slow down and properly course put the dishes.
It was my 45th birthday and as expected food and service was amazing thank you for a great evening
My partner and I decided to splurge for date night here and boy were we impressed! Everything was simply delicious. Our waiter was Jeremy who did a great job of helping us navigate the menu options. We ended up taking his recommendations and were thrilled! Our favorite was the sashimi in truffle sauce.
The place was very busy and the aisles were a bit crowded around the bar, but the vibe was good and the noise level didn’t affect the evening. The food and ambiance were excellent on their own but hands down the cherry on top was Jeremy. Engaging, knowledgeable, and perfect timing: he knew when to be present and when to give us space.
Absolutely will be back!
Will be back soon! The energy is fun with the dim lights making a dinner very pleasant.
We were made to wait 50 mins despite our reservn at 7.30 pm..in the end when we kept enquiring they behaved like someone forgot to seat us..everyone who came after us was already seated....a bad experience.
This place is amazing! Atmosphere, service, creativity, presentation and quality. I cannot wait to come back!
Catch LA is great for a fun, lively dinner. My service was great! I was on crutches and had a walking boot and I found it to be annoying that the hostess made me wait 20 minutes ever after I had a reservation. I don’t like the fact they didn’t accommodate me right away. Overall, I love this place and enjoy the food but it’s very over priced. You get extremely small portions.
The Truffle Sashimi was spectacularly delicious but it went downhill from there. The Scallop & Cauliflower was good. The Lobster Roll wasn't a "sushi roll" but a sandwich and less than ok. The Crispy Whole Snapper ($87) was so dry and tasteless we only had 3 or 4 sections (it was cut into bite size sections after presented whole) trying to find any moist sections and didn't even bother with finishing it. The waiter noticed the uneaten portion and asked if all was ok. We said it was extremely dry. He comp'd a desert.
We go to Catch each time we come to LA. The food is amazing and we can’t ever convince ourselves to try elsewhere. Love it here.
The food was amazing, good service it was just a bit too loud and we were seated too close to other tables.
Always an amazing experience from the food to the service.
Food was amazing and so was the service. Server was very attentive during the dinner and informative when talking about the menu. Support staff were efficient in cleaning tables and glasses making sure anything unnecessary on the table was taken away. Everything was amazing, however, the sushi rolls weren’t anything special. Prices are pretty reasonable considering it’s West Hollywood. My friend and I had a couple drinks each, 4 or 5 small plates, a snapper to share and dessert and was about $300. We were definitely full after leaving. Overall, great experience.
Great food and atmosphere, but can be a little bit overpriced. Would definitely recommend to a friend though!
The food was absolutely AMAZING! It was our first time in LA and we wanted to try various restaurants; I regret not also coming here to try their Brunch. The martinis and food were impeccable! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile, everyone was super nice, our waiter was very informative & gave us great recommendations! They played GREAT music while we ate, and it wasn’t too loud as to where you couldn’t have a conversation. I give this restaurant 10 stars! My wish is that they expand and open a CATCH in Washington, DC! I’d come at least twice a week! 🥰
Loved it!!! Amazing food and service, definitely come back again soon
The lighting in the room is ridiculous. You cannot see a thing. SO DARK for no reason. Everyone had their phone flashlights on to read a menu.
The wine we ordered took forever to make it to our table....claimed had to go to basement cellar. So maybe true...who knows. But the place was not busy when we got there at 6PM on a Monday and yet we got the table right by the kitchen door......REALLY????? I love the food and have been numerous times to NYC and Vegas versions of Catch, but not a fan of this one. No need to go back.
My girlfriend was served her main course 15 minutes before I received my food & the waiter obviously did not try to time anything. I was a waiter at a sushi restaurant before & I understand timing can be an issue of serving a hot meal with sushi but we both got sushi. 15 minutes of her waiting for my food to be served was annoying. Food was great, service was below average.
This place is all “scene”. The food was ok. Just ok. Way overpriced. It’s one of those “get several small plates to share” restaurants. It’s beautiful but not worth the money. Will not be returning but glad I went once
Every dish was spectacular, the service was top notch, and place looked incredible.
Great service and food was Amazing
We had a reservation for 5:30 and my friend ending up being a half hour late and they didn’t give our table away. The staff was friendly and respectful, and the atmosphere was super fun and we had a great time. Aw, the food! Great vegan/ vegetarian options and the drinks were really good as well. Favorite dish was the crispy cauliflower and favorite drink was “One Too Many”.
Will definitely be going back soon!
Always a vibe. Truly enjoyed dining here.
Excellent food and great service 5 star
It was great.
Such a wonderful place to go for any occasion. The ambience is dreamy, the service is spot on and the food is mouthwatering.
LOVE this spot. The atmosphere is fun and the service is great. Definitely recommend!
Love, love, love... definitely an experience. The food and the ambience was perfect.
The sushi was smaller than Ralph’s sushi the water was warm the lobster Mac n cheese tastes like craft single overly priced for nothing
Wonderful place lovely view and great food would definitely recommend
Food is amazing. Service is super friendly and accommodating.
