Casa Cana is a Latin kitchen, patio & rum bar that features innovative New Latin cuisine, or as the Latin Americans locals call it, “Nuevo Latino.”
This style of cooking uses traditional ingredients and a plethora of textures, colors, and flavors that when combined, create a cuisine that is unique to South and Central America, and it’s Latin neighbors in the Caribbean.

Great service, food, music. An instant favorite.
Octopus was fishy and chewy, slaw on fish tacos was sour, and there were no chips or snacks upon ordering cocktails and while waiting a loooooong time for our dinner.
Yes, the food was very good but I would caution that it is more expensive, and that it can take over an hour to get a meal, or over half an hour to simply get a fountain soda. They were not overly busy the night we were there, it was at a Saturday night and the room was moderately full, and yet we still watched three tables come and go without being served our food.
Uninspiring. Why not just stick to the traditional food that people love? If you are going to deviate from traditional plates, it should be really good. Food wasn't terrible, but was nothin to get excited about... and way overpriced for the quality. Also decide what kind of place you want to be. Get rid of the TV if you are trying to create a non-sports bar vibe.
It was Valentine’s Day and our table took a little longer than was expected. The management kept us informed constantly and provide some comped apps.
The waitress was personable and very engaging.
Over all this was a very enjoyable, relaxing and unhurried experience.
Would recommend it to friends.
Overall the food was good except for one thing. We wish that Charred Octopus would have been a little tender.
There must have been only one person in the kitchen since we were only 3 tables and it took our food 35 minutes to arrive.
Had Brunch with the family and it was fantastic. Great food and service
Great food, great environment. Very kind people. All the menu looks delicious.
The food is amazing!! I must admit I come on Friday's for $1 oysters :) The service and staff are great! I highly recommend!
Always my go-to place when someone is visiting town!
The bar is Nice , but the meal was disappointing, the picanha was hard to chew!! It took I life to serve the first drink and the place was not packed !!
Recommended highly!!! I will definitely go again. Service is exemplary.
I love Casa Cana, this time it was quiet because there weren't many people (I went there at 2/3pm) but it is usually super noisy when they have a full restaurant. Food is fantastic and the atmosphere is super cool (I love the decoration!)
A great attempt to bring Latin flavors to the city of Boston. But, not quite there. The pro's: good portion, quality food, and almost very authentic flavors. The cons mainly are the service staff. Lack of knowledge of Latin cuisine and minimal suggestion.
Great food and service went back for lunch the next day.
Our first time in we had entrees and were quite pleased. Our second visit was not memorable. This visit was for a drink and apps. Pleasant and friendly staff served up a tasty cocktail seemngly devoid of liquor and apps that were wholly unimpresive. Sadly, the best I can say was the visit was disappointing.
Everything was scrumptious!!! Fresh flavors, perfect appetizer portions for sharing. Staff is friendly and professional.
Great food and a fun patio. Hidden gem for sure!
I loved everything about this place. First time visiting. Also planned a visit to see the well known colorful van. David Olsen is a colleague and he mentioned to me where the vans new home was.
Great food! Love the patio with the music in the back.
Great patio space, accomodating request for big party
A one in a million place! Loved the patio environment and the food. Not a good menu for vegetarians.
Funky place in an updated 1960’s vintage hotel. Food was good, waitress was nice, funny, personable. Service itself was a little slow but we were having fun so it didn’t matter that much.
They were having a show there that night, so service ended up being rather slow for anyone not attending the show, but the food and drinks were very good.
Food and drink are great and the outdoor patio is amazing! Great service. Fun music and dancing inside later in the night.
Love it here!
A true gem! Authentic flavors would definitely go again!
Service was slow. We were at our table for long periods of time without the waitress attending to us. She was also not knowledgeable of menu items and create a huge mishap charging my visa. Overall I was hopeful when I saw the cool ambiance however was let down by everything else.
Is a nice place, food and service really good.
Casa Caña is a fun place to dine on a Friday night. It has good food, a lively bar scene and a lovely patio/outside cocktail area with tables, chairs and couches. The night we were there, they were hosting a “Cuban Evening” with live latin music, salsa instruction and dancing. Our waiter, was friendly, informative and attentive. The menu has many appetizers and small plates and also offers a few larger entrée options. At our server’s suggestion, we ordered a sample plate of appetizers and then fish tacos. Everything arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. I would highly recommend Casa Caña.
My new go-to restaurant for consistently great food and entrees that are unique.
The food was fantastic and the service was great! Will come back again
The food was okay but the drinks were delicious!
Specifically requested three times (1. Via email, 2. Over the telephone, 3. In person) that the dessert should have a candle placed in it as the meal was to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Complete failure when dessert was served. No candle no special effort made.
Our server was exceptional! The food and cocktails were very good and the courtyard was a lot of fun.
Wanted to sit outside , but hosress couldnt be bothered. There was plenty of seating. Seemed inconvenienced , so we sat inside. Waitress was fine . Food was ok , thought it would be better . Actually drove from south shore after chics with food pics dined here. I just wasnt as impressed I guess .
Showed up and said they were closed. Had an event earlier and decided to close for the evening to clean up. If they decided to close then I should have been informed and should not have been allowed to make a reservation. Wasted my time and my dates time.
Worth a visit. Good not great.
Service was very spotty and seemingly unfamiliar with the menu.
Great restaurant. Enjoyed our delicious Latin food and drinks in the company of good friends
