Complete with large fireplaces, impressive stonework, exposed wood beams and the traditional Italian fare to match, the new Carmine's is truly an experience for all of your senses. Stepping outside onto the 3,000 square foot patio reveals a striking outdoor pizza oven, kitchen, and massive cocktail bar.
In true Italian famiglia fashion, Carmine's also has private dining available for up to 50 to make sure you have enough space for your abudanza, wedding reception or any special occasion.
Carmine's Rosemont is a true Italian treat where you walk in as friends but you leave as family.
Be prepared to breakout the Benjamins.
Great food and great service ! We can not wait to go back!
It was our first time experiencing this restaurant and we were disappointed. It didn't feel like an Italian restaurant. The quality of the food was not worth the price. Food was lacking flavor. Some parts of our meals were brought out late which also didn't help with the flavor issue. We will not be returning.
Important business meal. Food was very good but service wasn’t great. Server totally forgot a side dish and drinks were slow in coming. And they weren’t very busy.
The food and service were wonderful.
The noise from jets overhead on the patio is quite annoying.
I do not recommend outdoor seating at this location.
Service is excellent and we love the food. Have traveled quit a distance to go back. Will return often.
I was very disappointed. I emailed saying that was my birthday and nothing happened. Mu husband told the waitress that was my birthday and nothing. The food was very average for the price. A very expensive brunch.
Excellent food on the Sunday Buffet, great service, and friendly staff and management
We booked the reservation a week in advance for a birthday dinner. We waited beyond the reservation time despite arriving a bit early. Then we were seated next to the kitchen. We purchased dessert- no candle, no singing nothing. The food was over priced and not amazing.
This was my second time dining in at the Rosemont location . I wasn’t as pleased with my visit this time . We had reservations at 8:30 and we didn’t get seated until 8:50 for a table of 4 . When we got seated it took the server 10 mins to tend to us . She had taken our drink and appetizers also entree orders. It took another 10-15 minutes to finally receive our drinks and additional 10 mins for our 3 appetizers to arrive. This waiting time was ridiculous. Our 4 entrees arrived 25 min after our appetizers. After our entrées we ordered 2 desserts and that took another 15 mins to arrive . In total it took us 3hrs just to be fully serviced . I’ve never experienced this type of wait time dining in at Carmine’s in downtown Chicago. Our server only checked on us twice while other servers were bringing our food . I was really disappointed with the service .
Much better experience than the first time we went. We went not long after they opened and everything was just meh. Service, food and overall experience was not what I would have expected. Much, much better this time around
Loved the food!
Omg this place is amazing. Can’t believe the outdoor patio, to the service, to the food.
It’s a suburban Gem.
Wonderful outdoor space and superb service. Thank you!
Wait staff and bartenders were awesome. Food was a 10 and great dirty martinis
The food is excellent and Johnny Mulligan is an excellent server.
The food was fantastic authentic Italian. Can't wait to go again.
Ro was awesome! Great service, very knowledgeable!
The food was phenomenal and our server was awesome, even though it was only her second day working at Carmine’s. However, due to the loudness of the live music being played in the bar, we asked to be seated outside. It was chilly that night and the overhead heaters weren’t throwing out much warmth and the fireplace was so smoky our clothes reeked.
Food is fantastic
Served piping hot!
Manager, Phil , very welcoming
Server, David was wonderful
Great dining experience
Great food. Service is excellent. You feel like you are part of family.
Service and food was excellent .Would recommend it for good Italian food .😄
Best waiter ever
Food was good. Love the Eggplant Stack. I am puzzled as to why the hostess chose to place all the dining groups in tight formation rather than spread them out. People were on top of each other when they really didn't need to be. Service was good. Also the Taylor Street platter is a great way for a group to check out many offerings.
The service was wonderful.
The food was fresh and beautifully presented.
This is my top choice to celebrate a special occasion when I am in Chicago.
Keep up the great work!
Great value..huge portions! Fantastic service by Rolando!
Was very satisfied. Server helped us with wine selection. Had a very comfortable booth.
Highly recommend. Food was superb and service was excellent. We have enjoyed several other Rosebud locations, and Carmine's lived up to the lofty expectations those had set prior. We will definitely be back.
There were 5 in our party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We started with cocktails and appetizers. Sausage and peppers & Calamari. Delicious!
All our dinners were amazing. Lamb chops, skirt steak, Chilean Bass & Orecchiette. Perfectly prepared.
Our Waiter was patient, personable and funny. Will definitely be back. Great place
Service was excellent and the food was even better. Everyone from the hosts to the server we very polite and helpful.
Bad service and overly priced food that is mediocre at best. Went there on a date with my husband. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. We asked to move tables after 2 minutes because we were at a small table and barely had enough room to move without bumping our neighbors. But even worse, the noise level in the outdoor area was ridiculous. Even though we were at a small table we couldn’t hold a conversation because we couldn’t hear each other over the surrounding noise. Once we asked to be moved we were seated quickly at a nice table inside. Our drink orders were taken and delivered quickly but then our waiter didn’t come back for 25 minutes and we had somewhere else to be. It was so off putting that we almost paid for our drinks and left. Just as we were about to get up the waiter came back and apologized. Once our orders were placed, our food came quickly. The food is nothing to rave about, especially for the price. The meal was totally forgettable. We will not be going back to Carmine’s.
The food is always good. The problem with this visit was that we were seated under a fan and frequently got dripped on. Not a huge deal since it was a small amount, but we told 3 employees (including the manager) about it and not one person offered a solution. We asked manager to turn off fan, thinking that would help but he sluffed over our request and kept the fan on. It was pretty annoying and surprising.
It was exciting since it was very crowded.
Staff was extremely attentive.
Valet Parting is the way to go.
All in all it was a fun evening.
We sat in the new patio area...loved it.
Lauren was the absolute best server in the world. Very nice woman and amazing food. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
food was excellent as was the ambience. have been to the sister "rosebud" restaurants, and although everything is excellent, loved this place more. my only issue--we got there at 615p on a friday the service was excellent until every table was filled, then it was a tad slow getting the bill. which, again due to how busy, was not surprising. also on friday they have entertainment in the bar so it is louder than normal. overall excellent and highly recommend. both of the issues i stated would NOT stop me from returning again and again.
Birthday lunch with friends. Ate outside on the patio.
Food and service were excellent. We enjoyed veal Marsala,
Calamari, veal Milanese and tiramisu for dessert.
Will definitely go back !!!
I made a reservation for Carmine's at Rosemont for my wife's birthday. Initially, I have dined at Rosebud in the Tri-Taylor neighborhood growing up in the 90's. Since I have had moderate experiences at Rosebud Tri_Tayor, I now live closer to the Carmines at Rosemont (so I decided to give it a chance). This will the last time I will ever dine at Carmine's at Rosemont (or in general). The "waiter" took at least 15 minutes to asks us for drinks. We sat by the bar and saw our drinks ready (it took another 15 minutes to receive them) and we were about 2 feet from the bar. There were people that were seated after us and who drinks and food was served before us. I usually have moderate expectations for Rosebud affiliated restaurant, but this experience was horrible. I order that lobster ravioli and they were served cold. I rather have gone to Olive Garden for 1/3 of the price (the food would of tasted better and the service excellent-compared to Carmines service). I had to flag down one of the managers to get the bill and just leave. I obtained the bill in minutes. Also, if I was only eating there with friends or alone, I would not really mind waiting (but it was for my wife's birthday. I rather celebrate somewhere where over $200.00 for good food and fair service (like a better know steakhouse) or pay less at a lower tier restaurant for humble service and decent food.
It’s one of my favorite restaurants but did not have a good experience that evening
Mother’s Day Dinner.
The food was excellent everyone was very friendly and the service tip notch!
Our serve was John. He was engaging and very attentive. He made our evening delightful. The manager Phil made sure all of our needs where met.
The food was perfectly prepared, in the ambience was perfect. Can’t wait to dine there again.
