Outstanding service and good food. Our waiter was fantastic. Very proactive and on top of things. Ambiance is great. This is always a very nice restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal.

Service was great as always. Food was beyond great. Only small nuisance was towards the end of the meal a very large group came in and they were quite loud.

Excellent restaurant. I have never been disappointed with the service and food. It is pricey, but it is a must for special occations.

Carmello's in a gem off of the "normal" path in Northern Va for excellent food and service. Since we live outside of Manassas, it's close to us and has become one of our "special dinner" places.

Found Carmello's walking around the newly renovated shops of Old Town Manassas, decided to give it a try. What a find, exquisite cuisine, excellent service and a true hidden nook. Fully enjoyed the experience. Bring your appetite, the servings are a good size.

Great option to order from both casual and more formal menu. We enjoyed outdoor seating and the food was wonderful.

We've been customers of Carmello's since the 1980's. We celebrated many anniversaries and special occasions there. We were disappointed during this visit. I ordered Oysters Rockefella and it took about 20 minutes to get them and they were cold. My husband ordered the tortellini soup and the bowl it came in made it very difficult to eat. It appeared to be more acclimated for pasta than soup. He ordered the veal medallions and thought they were quite small for the price. He has ordered them in the past and they were nothing like these. Although the taste was good, they were very small. I had the vieras and it was very good. The creme brulee was amazing! We enjoyed the ambience but the servers were very slow getting our drinks and food. It looked as if our server had several other tables and was perhaps overwhelmed. We will wait awhile before we come back in the hopes that things will get back to the way they used to be.

Carmello's is one of my wife's favorite restaurants! We've been going there on special occasions for years and have never been disappointed. Their excellent food was not degraded by the COVID pandemic and their high safety standards were practiced by all - all the waiters wore masks, the menu's were paper,the tables were safely separated, and hand sanitizer was provided if we wanted to clean our hands prior to eating. Carmello's is quality and I HIGHLY recommend you venture out and enjoy a very nice meal.

First time dining at Carmello's Thursday August 20. Due to COVID-19, the restaurant was not crowded at all. Nice atmosphere, excellent service and great food. Our waiter brought us glasses of complimentary sparkling wine and asked if it was a special occasion. We told him it was our 43rd wedding anniversary. At the end of the meal, he brought us a very nice complimentary creme brulee. We had the house salad, the beet salad, the veal medallions and the scallop, shrimp, lobster & artichoke entrees. All were excellent. We will return.

Been dining here for over 10 years. Food is first class!

Awesome menu and the best food in NOVA. Service is highly professional constantly checking on table so there’s never an empty glass or wait for anything you ant or need.

Really good meal!

Went to Carmello’s to check out this place to have my sons rehearsal dinner at. Needless to say we where delighted and booked the special occasion. The food was fabulous and the service equally the same. We can’t wait to return for our tasting this summer. If I didn’t live over an hour away I would be a regular at this place. There food was described as Portuguese Italian but it’s more modernized with a Mediterranean influence. I enjoyed the jumbo shrimp and scallops and artichokes in a white wine light sauce and tomato rice. This is a more traditional Portuguese signature dish. Simply Fabulous!!!

Food was delicious and the experience was intimate. We had great service and loved the complimentary glass of wine. Though there are lots of great restaurant, this remains a favorite in the Historic Manassas area!
