Excellent service and lovely food. My son has numerous food allergies and was so well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again! Impeccable service form the staff despite the solid flow of customers.

Really annoyed. Booked for 7.45 table on Sunday. At 4.45 I had a message to say that they would close at * and so could offer a table at 6.30. That was not possible for us at that stage

Waiters were all great and helpful, and we felt safe from a covid point of view. My only negative is that we were asked whether they could bring out our mains when we hadn’t finished our starters, which I declined, and my meal was therefore a bit dried out.

It was just ok. The food was nice, but nothing impressive. The cocktails are not good, very watery and when I ordered an Amaretto sour, I got plain Amaretto on ice. Also one of the items that we ordered wasn't delivered at all. And it was extremely noisy, but it was a busy night. Overall, it's not bad, but I wouldn't go again.

As it was the eve of lockdown, it was a memorable dinner. Food and drink were good, our waiter was charming and efficient and the atmosphere was buzzy and we felt as if it was Xmas Eve! A really wonderful dining experience on all counts, thank you and we look forward to coming back when lockdown ends.

Two of us had an excellent seafood pasta, one of the very best we've had at Carluccio's, followed by bitter chocolate and coffee ice cream which was absolutely delicious. Wine and service were great as usual. Dinner was so good we returned the next night for the same again and weren't disappointed. Thank you.

Perfect lunch for me and my 5 year old ahead of going to the museum. Quick service, but unhurried atmosphere, good choice of food, and my meal was so tasty. My son had a generous portion of veg sticks to fill up on before his beige main of choice and a sensible sized scoop of ice cream. Great decor, charming staff, would book again.

I ordered the same dish as someone sitting next to me. And mine looked like it was a small portion. No taste at all.
It was my very first time in Carluccios and to be honest I didn't enjoy it enough to be back.

Not a great menu of choice, quite small with limited vegetarian options.
Again not many dessert options, and none I liked. Super fast with service and the dish was really tasty when it arrived. Nothing to entertain children, no colouring or activity menu.

The food was so bad! How can they get it wrong making great pasta - surely they should have perfected that by now - it’s their signature.

Out of the 4 of us we barely ate anything. Cold, soggy, tasteless.

Carluccio's is always good for a good value meal. The waitress was really sweet and with all the COVID restrictions, they did very well. My seafood linguine was not as good as I remember but I think that's because there were rather too many mussels in it this time. But I would definitely come back and am very sad that Carluccio's is closing down.

Oh such a shame. We used to take our granddaughter regularly- a visit to one of the museums and then lunch at Carluccios. Since she was 2. Of course when she started school the visits stopped. She had an inset day last week so we went to the NHM and then to Carluccios for lunch. Now we have her little brother aged 3. She ate off the adult menu which was fine but I ordered from the children’s menu for him and it was inedible. Chicken so dry. I also ordered the chicken which was marginally better as the piece was a bit thicker but still very oily and unpleasant. Never use dried herbs in a breadcrumb coating - it tastes old and musty. Basic chef’s error. The kids menu used to include a drink, a lovely colouring pack, a tomato dip for the batons of carrot and cucumber. Both gone. I know times are hard right now but we were very disappointed so will try somewhere else next time we go to South Kensington.

Food was great - very quick to arrive and service was outstanding. The only thing I would question is the level of social distancing. It was so full (we went for an early Sunday lunch) with barely any room to move around between table. Toilets were also not particularly clean.

We visit Carluccios quite a lot. I like the fact that I know what I am getting and I have my favourites on the menu. The food is of a consistently high standard and the service is excellent.

We felt very safe and reassured when visiting the South Kensington branch in these Covid-times - the tables were spaced well apart, there was plenty of sanitiser at the entrance, all the waiting staff wore face coverings / face shields and the menus were disposed of after use.

Nicely spaced tables, hand sanitiser and staff with face shields was all very reassuring. The menu was excellent with a good variety of dishes. I had the risotto with a selection of breads with oil and vinegar. My son had a pasta dish with courgette. The portions weren't massive, about right to leave room for dessert and coffee. Excellent service.

A late dinner after a long day's work. Rich, earthy, creamy mushroom soup... beautifully prepared lamb rump on bed of peas, broad beans, artichoke hearts... gelato for dessert. What's not to like?
