Extremely disappointed with the food and service from the waitress. Around 20 mins after we ordered our food, our main courses arrived. I informed the waiter that I had not received the starter and my food was removed. I then saw the waiter ask the waitress who took our order. I heard her say “they didn't order starters” and she approached our table. She began to tell me that I did not ordered starters, however when she opened her notepad, she saw our starters written down, and she admitted that she did not put the order for our starters through to the kitchen. She asked if they could bring the starters after we had eaten the main, but she could not tell me how long the wait would be (I ordered garlic ciabatta and the mushroom soup). I told her I was willing to wait for my starters and keep my main at the table if It was a short wait, but she would not let me speak, and I felt like she was in rush to just serve us. My partner even asked her if he could speak with me, because she kept interrupting us when myself and my partner was speaking. We decided to remove our starters and just have our main courses. My food was then returned (the same food that was removed from my table 5 mins prior) - mine was barely warm but my partners was cold. I asked the waitress if she could warm up my partners food and she removed the plate. We also noticed my partner had a dirty fork and knife so we asked for a replacement. As I was waiting, I tried a bit of my lasagne and it was very mushy, it normally comes on a cast iron and I usually love it, however it tasted like it was made hours prior and heated in the microwave. It did not even resemble the normal lasagne from Carluccio’s. As my partners food had still not arrived around 5 minutes after, we decided to leave. We just wanted to get out of the restaurant. My partner politely explained to one of the waiters the reason we were leaving and then the waitress who took our order approached us. She stood very close and kept interrupting
Our waitress Giovanna was exceptional considering the circumstances. Restaurant was under staffed & short on supplies. Some dishes not available. She went out of her way to accommodate us & make us feel special!!
As did manager. She is a special employee!! I can tell.

Really fancied going to Carluccio's and as our closest restaurant has an unfortunately closed the one at the Mariott Heathrow was the closest. My expectations weren't high as we were effectively eating in a hotel foyer. My moderately low expectations were met but not exceeded in anyway. Everything about the evening was ok. The good was poor compared to my experiences in other Carluccio restaurants. It has a fast food restaurant feel to it. The meal was expensive for what we had. I will not be visiting this restaurant or any Carluccio restaurant any time in the near future.
Good calamari with a brilliant mayonnaise; the lasagne was a superstar; the chicken Milanese also well up to scratch. They didn’t have Chianti but the offered Rioja was from the well respected CVNE and most enjoyable. Very busy but the service held up thanks to Kala. Quite a pleasant vibe for this open kitchen / adjacent to the hotel lobby format restaurant. Wide selection of gins.
One of the best Italian restaurant as always, service was quick, my favourite seafood linguine was delicious. I called up many times before I arrive but nobody received my calls on Carluccio’s landline.
Food well cooked and well presented, staff very attentive and made it a great occasion, they were aware we were staying before flying out for our honeymoon and made every effort to make sure we were happy and enjoying the evening, will be returning next time we fly from Heathrow,

We got a booking easily, and the tables were fairly well spaced out. However, there was a large party of diners right next to us.
The food, a steak meal ad a lamb rump, weren't terribly impressive sadly. The steak was too rare (medium rare requested but it was almost blue) and the lamb rump meal was dry and nothing special for the cost.
Sorry! Our expectations weren't met on this occasions.
If you enjoy good food , go for it and make Memoiers.

Best service I have had in a long time anywhere!!! The waitress was fantastic!!!
A very poor experience for Carluccio’s which one can usually rely on. They had run out of sourdough and the starters we had ordered all relied on this item as an ingredient. When we complained, in fairness, they didn’t charge for the starters but a regrettable start to our meal.

Krish was brilliant. It was only his third day but he was fantastic.

Nice food, overpriced for what it is.. A hotel near Heathrow. Dirty glasses, under staffed, drinks on menu not available and slow service... I would say look for pizza express as a better option
