Best True French Bistro in town!
Individual Apple Tart Tatin
Topped with vanilla ice cream.
Always outstanding service
Beautiful food and drink highly recommend! I brought a friend who is from Paris and they can confirm this food reminded them of home!
One of my favorite Philly restaurant it was perfect dining for our COVID times. I had a table facing the sidewalk under the eaves of thr building. The Croque Mousieur and glass of French Chardonnay was delicious.
In these stressful times, it is priceless to be able to travel to France by way of delicious food.
The service is wonderful and all precautions are taken in regards to covid19 safety.
Food and service were wonderful as always. Best French Onion Soup in town!
Nice lunch spot. Service was great. Food was good. Would go back.
very nice mix of traditional French with some modern vegetarian choices
Very authentic representation of a real french Cafe. The food & drinks were excellent
It was Quiet Good had fun food was excellent liqour was not As expected no mule no Ginger beer...Shall Definitely Recommended
Excellent waitstaff and service .
11:30 weekday lunch no wait and very attentive .
Outdoor dining was very pleasurable and safe. I was surprised to see happy hour on Saturday. I had a very generous happy hour Manhattan.
Classic place, great open air and patio seating, and great music as always, BUT the food was disgusting. Went there for Sunday brunch and the meal was all around gross. OJ tasted old from a can, coffee was weak and tasted like it was from a truck stop, snd the salmon on the Benedict tasted fishy and old. Couldn’t have been more disappointed in the food and the weak service at this popular throwback.
Great experience! 5 of us went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Service was outstanding. The appetizer was great and totally loved the Amish chicken as my main course. Thumbs up!
Loved everything about it !!!
Kai is always an excellent waiter! He is very attentive and one of the best I have ever had there. Please make him a lead waiter and to train the other ones to be as attentive as he is. There are a lot of places I go to that blatantly treat me a type of way because of my age, way I dress and race. Kai treats me like a first class VIP client each and every time.
Great food and service
One of my all time favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. Great job with the outdoor seating and accommodating everyone while still remaining safe during these trying Covid times. Hands down one of the BEST Escargot ever.
Classic French bistro fare done well. Good value. Excellent, friendly service. Love the bar - fine wine list, imaginative cocktails and superb digestif offerings. Very pleasant place to while away the hours.
Quaint and cozy. The extensive sparkling cocktail menu was the highlight for me. Cute noshes.
It was a very pleasant dinning experience. The only thing that struck me as odd was the music. 80’s pop is not what I’d expect to be hearing as background music in a French Bistro.
Great Service, given the pandemic going on, seating was pretty well spread out, Food was all exceptional and well seasoned, pork chop was slightly overdone on the outside but middle was perfect. Definitely would come back
The waiter was lovely and the food was amazing
I've always been pleased with the food and service at Caribou and this last visit was no exception. Great value, courteous and professional staff and well-prepared, great food.
Most excellent. Seafood crepe to die for. Also best cidre (Aval).
We went for Restaurant Week, which gave us a chance to try their food at a great price. Service was excellent from start to finish. The food was great: creative flavors that bring Paris to Philly. We’ll definitely be back!
Escargot...outstanding! Wonderful service from our server and the chef!
The Salmon Leek Risotto is amazing as was the seared Tuna on salad app. Lamb Shank was perfectly prepared. Great Evening out for Restaurant week.
Fun place. Bad food. My cheesesteak was full of gristle; my partner's lamb was 'gamey.'
Restaurant week menu was amazing! Food was very flavorful and cooked to perfection.
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic!
Good food. Great service!! I had the pork chops and my boyfriend had the lamb shank. They were amazing!! We had really good night there 👍🏼
Went during Restaurant Week and it was great. Ate outside and there was noise from the vehicles on the road but it wasn’t too bad. Service was excellent.
We went for Restaurant Week lunch. Terrific value for the money. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Our male server was terrific. He was pleasant, informative and stopped by twice during the meal to check on us.
Really good food (salad with goat cheese, beets and figs, excellent server, well spaced tables. Good place to break the Covid fast.
Restaurant Week 2020. A noon lunch in a gorgeous space (outdoors) with delicious food and bountiful drink. (The "restaurant week" menu was well crafted with several choices.)
It is a beautiful place.
Dinner was great we had the warm Coat cheese with spinach app and Chilean Salmon entree and escargot app and lamb with couscous for entree and the caramel chocolate souffle cake and crepe with ice creme for dessert.. it was all delicious and filling.
Corey was a fantastic server who truly cared about this guest’s experience, and the food exceeded expectation. Standouts were the escargots with puff pastry and the salmon with leek and Israeli couscous. Delightful French bistro food. Will return!
Best onion soup in town, and servers are always great!
This is an authentic French bistro with really delicious food. Someone — or more appropriately a team of people — really know how to select high quality ingredients, prepare them the authentic French way, and serve then elegantly. No detail left unattended and the dishes are consistently exquisite in flavor and presentation. Highly recommended.
