Service was 5 star great. The salad was fabulous. The French beer was excellent. Unfortunately The pork was fatty. I will eat pork fat if crispy but the pork was only medium which is great for the meat. Not so much for the fat. The perfiteroles were to die for! Slice and filling with Vanilla ice cream. Covered in fudge sauce.

Excellent food, good drink choices, attentive staff. Great location and selections you don't find everywhere else. Had fixed price restaurant week selections of escargot in puff pastry, scallops, and profiteroles. It was like being in Europe without the trip.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. From the poor service, to the quality of the food, I would not recommend. The owner should spend less time traveling and more time supporting and training his staff.

Cute spot with very french bistro feel. Specialty drink I ordered was very good and the food was flavorful - I had the pork chop which was cooked just right and the sauce was very flavorful. My date had the salmon which had a great light and fresh taste. Service was good.

Online advertising states (in two place) that happy hour is 4-7 pm DAILY. When arriving at 5 pm, was told there is no Happy Hour on Fridays. Asked if they would honor their ad, waiter said “it’s out of my hands.”
Food was good, not excellent, (haricovert overcooked to olive green and mushy), and “Irish coffee” had no whipped cream, but cost $11.50. (We forgave this since it is after all a FRENCH bistro).
Have been going to Caribou for many years, — so happy to be out after 15 months of no city dining, and glad this was where I chose to resume. I know it will be up to standard soon.

Cute place. Great staff. Food so so. Salty French onion soup. Dry steak in the “cheesesteak”. Tasteless crepe.
Cheese plate was good. Lemon cake was delicious. Rosé wine suggested by waiter was very good! Question about recommending to a friend is a difficult question. I’d recommend for drinks and appetizers. Or happy hour.

This is my third time back in a restaurant since Covid shutdowns began. We sat outside. Our food was delicious; a waitstaff was excellent. This is a go to restaurant that you can count on.

It was a pleasure returning to one of my favorite Philadelphia restaurants, for the first time, to celebrate being vaccinated! The food remains delicious, the waitstaff were great, and I and my friends hope hard that Caribou thrives for years to come.

I ordered the croque monsieur and a cocktail. The croque was presented as a ham sandwich on lightly toasted white bread without gruyere nor bechamel. The frites were cold (as they were clearly previously frozen. The cocktail was weak and watery. It was a terribly disappointing experience.

The rack of lamb was great, so were the sides. Could have been hotter, the only real problem. Funny, the restaurant was not busy so don’t understand why food not hotter. Our server Cory was terrific. He was so nice & helpful. Anything we asked for we got right away.

Cool ambiance. Had reserved outdoor dining on Open Table but when we arrived, staff told us you couldn’t reserve outdoor seating...first come first served...? Front of restaurant opened up, though, so we felt comfortable eating inside. Food was good - French onion soup and profiteroles were excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Great ambiance and menu. French onion soup, peasant board, lamb burger, and mussels were all amazing. Two of us had the stuffed pork loin, and while cooked perfectly, found it fatty. Bread, cocktails and desserts were all top-notch. Great night out.

I ate early 5:45 because I had an early day the next day. I chose the Prix Fixe menu; lamb chop cassoulet with The Rouge Bordeaux, mixed green salad, and vanilla ice cream profiteroles. The service was excellent, Kai server, Corey behind the bar. The food was very good and fresh. I asked what the “signature” dishes were...cassoulet, beef bourguignon, and steak frites...however, the server said ALL the dishes were good. No specials on the menu. The cassoulet looked dry when served, but under the wonderful crust it was moist and lamb falling off the chop. Portion was perfect for me. Fresh bread was also served with the meal.
Profiteroles were very good...maybe a bit too much chocolate(who says that?) I did not use the restroom. But, overall the restaurant was very clean and I was way too early for “ambiance”. Good music playing. Digestif was sambuca and decaf. Would have liked another digestif, but sambuca worked! Wonderful overall dining experience. I will go back.

My Crouqe Madame was good (their take did not include the classic bechamel sauce). My friend ordered a lamb burger. That was excellent.
We're going to try them again.
