Even though it was on a busy Friday night, it was hard getting waiters attention. We understand waiters have to run around and all but it’s pretty embarrassing for me as a diner to raise my hand up for long as my sister who was with me called it “like you’re in primary school” The food was incredibly delicious, loved the texture, and the presentation looked like you want to dig in straight away. For someone who’s not a big fan of seafood, the baked scallops is spectacular and highly reccommended.

Too expensive for average food. The food didn’t taste better than Chinabar or Okami.

Very good overall. But our food were served very slow. Finally, Calia gave us a discount for long waiting time.

We chose Calia for our valentines dinner. We booked through opentable. We reached calia 15 mins ahead of our reservation and there were a few people inline infront of us. The queue was fast enough and we were escorted to our table just in time with our booking. We ordered 3 entree, 2 mains and 2 deserts. First of our entree was served almost 20 mins after, followed by one of the mains. The rest of the things we ordered came in one at a time with long intervals. The staff was a bit apologetic for the slow phases of serving the food. The last of the 3 entrees was served after we finished our mains. We just advised the staff to prepare and serve our desert right as soon as our last entree arrived. Overall, the food was tasty and in perfect portions. The service was in other hand a little bad as the food were not served in proper sequence and the waiting time is long. Would recommend to friends but probably not for celebrating special occassions.

The food is simple but elegant. The service was attentive. Although one order was wrong but fix with no hassle and replace quickly.

Made three mistakes in our order, the waiters/ waitress were not attentive enough. Foods are average, not worth for the price. Miso eggplant is super oily, and not cooked properly. Beef on beef udon is very chewy.
Charged me the wrong price when I purchased the tea leaves at check out. The overall experience is average. Will not go again.
