The best time to go is during the weekday easy parking and very little traffic

First time here based on reviews in Open Table. Good choice.

Started with Arancini, simple but very tasty.

Then fabulously rich Lobster Ravioli

And finally Seafood Risotto.

Add a bottle of Gavi and we were pretty close to Italy in Wilmington.

Place was almost empty but Covid & business district on Saturday make for thin crowds. We will definitely return should we find ourselves in Wilmington again.

Our server was wonderful, the tables were comfortably spaced, the ambiance was restful, the food was fabulous. Notably, the food was served piping hot. In many places we have been disappointed with lukewarm soup, but not at Cafe Mezzanotte! We will definitely return soon with friends.

We dined here for my husbands birthday this week. The food, service and ambience were fantastic. We will be returning for sure. Looking forward to sitting outside and enjoying another wonderful meal al fresco!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Cafe Mezzanotte. Great food, great atmousphere, great service. I would highly recommend this resaturant to anyone that wants an outstanding meal with a classy setting.

Food was quite good, but not as advertised. The Sea Bass cooked "Mediterranean style" had no tomatoes, no olives, no onions. The accompaniments were spinach and green beans. Those were exactly the same accompaniments my wife had for her filet. Should have been told.

First visit, and won’t be our last! Wonderful meal! Service was great and the food was excellent! Cafe Mezzanotte: Wife had Bronzino over sautéed spinach with roasted potatoes and green beans, filleted by Chef Sergio! I had Pappardelle Boscailoa, wide noodles, Italian sausage, wild mushrooms in a light cream sauce. Incredible!

Absolutely loved the bruschetta al salmon. It was different, unique and tasty. The Rigatoni Bolognese was divine and the staff are super friendly. I can’t wait to visit again.

Cafe Mezzanote was in one word outstanding. Food was simply excellent, especially the entrees we had - grilled swordfish and ragu pasta in a blush sauce. Tortellini our server Dawn took very good care of us and made it a great night (our anniversary!!). The tirimisu dessert was a delicious finish. So if you want great Italian dishes you should go to this place - we highly recommend it.

The best Italian food in Wilmington. Service is exceptional and prices just right! I had the veal chop which was so tender you could cut it with a fork and so flavorful.

Very clean and very quiet with a super friendly staff. My husband and I can be a little hesitant about eating out these days, but they made us feel right at home. The meals were a home run and the cocktails were simply amazing, some of the best I’ve probably ever had. I would recommend this place to any one for any occasion. Outstanding.

The restaurant was very clean and neat. The food was surprisingly good. A pared down menu but something for everyone . Service was very pleasant , a friendly waitress with opinions,when asked. The pasta “bags”

Food is good here; however the red spaghetti sauce has a weird taste to it. My husband thought so too although he ate it. I did not like it and could not eat it. Luckily I had ordered the filet over spinach and mushrooms (delicious) and got the spaghetti, that I could not eat, on the side. I asked the server to inquire with the chef about the unusual ingredient he included in the sauce. Unfortunately, the chef would not divulge the ingredient. Why? I did not like it, therefore it is not like I was trying to steal the recipe so that I could go home and make it. I wanted to know what the ingredient was so that I NEVER use it! That was petty of the chef.

What a wonderful evening my family was treated to tonight by the staff of Cafe Mezzanotte. We were greeted cordial upon entering. The clean, friendly atmosphere was apparent from the beginning. The starters were quite tasty and obviously fresh. All six dinners we ordered came out together and were all hot and delicious. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. We will definitely return again and again. Thank you for a wonderful evening.!!!
